Title: Are linux .bitcoin files interchangable with windows AppData\Bitcoin? Post by: PandaMiner on July 04, 2011, 10:54:06 PM I would like to know if I can export / copy my Ubuntu (live usb) bitcoin client, wallet, and block chain, into a Windows PC.

I use to input the blockchain from my windows desktop to my linux boxes (so I don't have to go dload it again by p2p) and never had issues. Post by: PandaMiner on July 05, 2011, 12:13:40 PM I can confirm that I did it. It worked for me, but in reverse. I placed my windows' full block chain (two blk*.dat files) into my linux .bitcoin folder. The block chain on linux was previously 134229 and it was then 134865 instantly.
