What is a good alt coin to mine, not the standards like lite coin etc and why?

Sex coin and pot coin are both at the very very top of my list.  Why?  Because what is better than sex and weed?

More like, it depends on your target coin's algorithm to mine.

In addition, are you dedicated to GPU or CPU mining? You have to research the coins you want to mine in order to have an efficient Hashrate using the minimal energy consumption available. Some coins doesn't even getting a lot of benefit from a powerful GPU like Monero/Electroneum unlike when you use the rig for Etherium.

At this time, I think you could consider ETH and some Neoscrypt coins.

What GPU are you using?. AMD or NVIDIA or both.

I heard that a new CPU COIN  YENTEN is a good one. People told me that start with YENTEN, RIPPLE and DENARIUS.. others are seems difficult to mine with out a GPU rig.

In my opinion, Burst is one of the easiest coins to mine. It takes some time to plot your hard drives, but after that, it's smooth sailing and doesn't really need powerful hardware.

slower GPUs or CPUs, it has GUI wallet. Very likely the price will rise up in the future.

CPU mining is underrated it's underestimated by mining community. GPU rigs are trendy nowadays for dash coin and Ethereum. I am planning to spot a mining farm for one of them. How could I get an effective tutorial for mining?

I was enjoying VERT lately until the halving
I'm now thinking of moving to Musicoin(MUSIC) for the reason of the number of coins you get paid out and betting that a small rise in value will multiply my earnings. I need to do some research on it also.

Zcoin is good if you live in a warm environment
It doesn’t use much power so not much heat will be generated
It isn’t the most profitable coin right now though so less heat sacrifices profit

I should have updated here when I found Ravencoin - hope some of you found it by yourselves as it was possible to get some good numbers of the last few weeks. The project wants to start from no value and work up like Bitcoin did.
