Post by: JanEmil on December 18, 2017, 08:05:28 PM
I wanted to buy 10 million Pow 'Lite' tokens for 50$.

From

I send monet buy he blocked me on Facebook 1 sec after.

*** -Sinner- messages

If you accept, send the money "to a friend" on paypal , on this mail : cardi92@live.it ( if you don't send "to a friend" mode, you could ask for a refund after you receive the pow, and paypal don't accept digital things).

This is my facebook, let me know qhat you decide.

Why did you sent the money first?
Why didn't you used an escrow service?

Normally money don't comes back, once it goes to scammer's pocket. So forget about it.
You just learned a lesson by paying $50. CONGRATULATION. I hope you will not make same mistake in future.

Always,
1. check user's trust rating
2. check previous posts and topics he created (as much as you can check)
3. use escrow service always... its a MUST.

Please attach some screenshots and proof than what you have provided. Because these messages can be written by anyone and though i trust that you're not making stuff up, if you can provide proof in the right format (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=260073.0) then people can go around to tag the guy a lot quicker.

I'm sorry for your loss, but seems like a classic confidence scam. Should have never sent first to that guy. At least you've learned your lesson now with $50, some people have to pay a much heavier price for it.

Also the token that you're buying doesn't look that good anyways, seems like a pump and dump coin to me  :-\

No offence, but why the hell did you go first with a Jr. Member for a deal? You're more senior to him on the forum, still you went first with a Jr. member, what did he have to loose? Nothing.

I fail to understand how can people be so stupid / so greedy that they fall for such scams. Just take it as a learning for the future and never go first with people whose rep is not worth more than the money you are dealing with.

I just don't understand why people scam for 50$. It take months to build a profil on social media. They maybe make 0.1$/hour. They could make so much more  :-\

I don't know if anyone else has heard it, but I heard this awesome thing you can do known as "account purchase" , apparently you can sell any of your old social media accounts in bulk for pennies. /s

Either that or he just scammed you because he could. There's been scams done here for less than a dollar, can't ever be safe without using an escrow.
