Title: Coingate transaction times - Eyeboot - Expired Transaction? Post by: Eyedol-X on December 19, 2017, 11:12:42 AM I ordered some items from Eyeboot and paid with an BCH. Eyeboot uses Coingate for the processing.
Unfortunately Coingate only gives 10 minutes for BCH to confirm before expiring the order and it took 18 minutes for the transaction I sent to get 1 confirmation. After I refreshed the page it showed as expired but also showed as paid and they(Coingate) had converted it to BTC. The page asked me for a BTC refund address and other info as well as it included this checkbox that said "If possible, mark the order as paid instead of refunding me" I checked the box to mark the order as paid and submitted the form. I received a notification that said I would receive a refund in 48 hours. Anyone had any success with getting orders processed through Coingate in this manner? Well speak of the devil, just got an automated e-mail from Eyeboot saying my order has been updated. I wish I was making this up but now it shows the order is in processing with my billing address being correct but they changed the shipping address to a completely different name and address. I sent an immediate e-mail alerting them to this error. It looks like they created a new order since my original one was cancelled, the 2nd order shows up under my account and they've entered a completely different customers information into the shipping detail line. I called the phone number today for Eyeboot that's listed for USA on their website and it just rings a bunch then hangs up. Back to waiting lol Edit: about 24 hours later Eyeboot responded via e-mail indicating that they would update the shipping address, it appears they added note to my order with correct shipping address but the invoice still shows another person so hopefully it get shipped to right place when time comes Title: Re: Coingate transaction times - Eyeboot - Expired Transaction?
