Thanks. If I understand correctly, Dether use a token-locking system that force users to buy and hold DTH. That way, the valuation increase with use. Quite simple in fact.

You are despicable Dether, KYC only lasted for 3 hours, while i was sleeping

This is the biggest worry that most people I talk to that haven’t gotten into Crypto yet have.  “How can I make sure I can get my money back out, and how easy is it to do so?”  Making an easy gateway to easily get back into FIAT will be HUGE!

Interesting project, i read your WhitePaper. But my general question is "How are you going to evolve? What way are you going start your project when speed of ETH Blockchain is ~20 trans per sec?"

A big fan of Eddy Travia and his work. Recently got to know that he is supporting and in the advisory panel of Dether since then following the project. Eagerly waiting for the ICO to start and low hard cap makes this project a meaningful and unique in between all those who are just craving for money.

Great to be in the whitelist for this project. But I wonder why some people say scam when they don't make ico?

I was very astonished to find out that I didn't pass the KYC.  I used the same ID-photo I used in various KYC's where I did pass.  I gave correct information so you have absolutely no reason to put me on the blacklist.  Giving a second chance IF there are any tokens left from the first phase won't cut it. >:(

There won't be any second round or any token left after 7/02 as they are SCAMMER. They open KYC for only 3 hours while people is sleeping, they blacklist people even when they've done KYC, keep watching to see the evil unfold.

Okay so first, if they wanted to scam you they would have whitelist everyone to be sure to get as much money as they can. So your theory that they are scammer because they blacklist people is completely ridiculous.

Second, the project is worldwide, if you were sleepin when the KYC registration was open it's your problem, other people were not.

And third, if there is no token left after the first round it will be because of the whitelisted people that did buy all the tokens, so again, not their fault.

Stop stop screaming that they are scammers with such ridiculous arguments. Or find another word that describe them better and that fit your argumentation.

Dude my KYC is also rejected although i know that i fill up the form correctly and upload my passport clearly but we don't have a choice but i will continue to support this project

Are there any plans by the team to release dether android and ios apps?

The web interface will be easier to implement but nothing beats the user experience a native app provides.

Dether is a new app that's goal is to bring Ethereum to the masses. Currently as I write this, the easiest way for a non tech savvy person to buy cryptocurrency is through Coinbase. Personally, I'm not a fan of it. It's really simple and dumbed-down, so that pretty much anyone can go buy Bitcoin, Ethereum, or Litecoin. But it takes about five days now to receive your order, which is absurd considering the volatility of cryptocurrency at the moment. Other than that, you have to go onto online exchanges which can be daunting for the average person (all it takes is a little patience and reading), but the average person doesn't like the amount of steps it takes to purchase crypto.

I don't know why some people are really mad here even on telegram and accused dether a scam project, they even increase the KYC whitelist from 2000 to more than 3000 just because they want more investors to participate and adjust the individual cap

Not being accepted for no reason isn't fun. That hard ro understand? Apparently they're gonna airdrop some to the ones who didn't get in. They should have reviewed them instead of airdropped. The airdrop won't come near what people were trying to invest.

No reason? I think you should join telegram they stated the reasons why some of you got rejected on KYC what makes you think that onfido reject your KYC application  without reason?

Hey the Dether team understand this and we apologize to those who were unable to register at the time of KYC process. The KYC was outsourced by an our partner and it did not go as you would have liked, despite the work that was done upstream by the whole Dether team. In an audit request from this partner to find out what happened, and provide you as soon as possible explanations. We reduced the contribution of each contributor to be able to welcome more contributors. Although we initially wanted to whitelist around 2,000 contributors, we are whitelisting 3,368 contributors, in order to create a wider network effect. Unfortunately we can not go back to change this mess that is beyond our control. Our interest is to satisfy the community that supported you and not the FOMO as it was mentioned above. You’ll have the opportunity to get tokens at the time of second round, there will be only a second round if there are unsold tokens after the first round. We have chosen to use a PWA because it facilitates a lot of things. First, you don’t have to go through any AppStore validation. And currently, for a crypto-related mobile app, it can be challenging to be validated by the AppStore.

Also your app is platform agnostic. A progressive app may run normally like a website, but we chose to encourage people to add it on their phone home screen, to recreate the mobile experience. So we put in place a system where we detect if the users are using their browser and show them a very simple installation process to follow. And once we detect that the app is running through the home screen link, we launch the real app. Thus, we recreate a mobile app experience, with an easy version management, and AppStore censorship resistant.

If you wanted to keep tokens used in ecosystem and not have load of people selling, you'd not put it on exchange right?  Do you think they are not listing?  Its not mentioned at all in their Whitepaper.

Ok, so I tried doing the KYC again.  Failed...again!  For no reason, again.  My ID-card is clearly valid and readable.  I took another photo of it and did the KYC again several hours ago.  No response.  hardcap was 15k eth was it?  We're on 14889 now. That means the hardcap will be reached when my KYC MIGHT pass.  This is a big dissapointment.  I tried several times, I support through sig campaign but for some reason I'm just not allowed/able to invest in this project.  Beats me why not.  It is the first time ever I'm not allowed to invest in an ICO for no reason.

How can I use it?

Current price is lower than ICO but from my point of view this is good opportunity to pick at current level to avail this golden opportunity before it's get too late. I like the idea and current development progress which is indicating soon it will get recover and people have to make good profit there.

This morning in just one hour, all orders for the sale of DTH on the stock exchange were bought. The volume was somewhere 250 eth, it's probably connected with this event, but the time of release does not converge!

Which coin die I didn't understand. Price of this token is still under huge sell pressure but it has potential to make comeback. At the moment we have good opportunity to buy low and can maximize our chance to make profit.

Some people see DGX as a colleteral on stablecoins like DAI. But don't you think it is kind of stablecoin by its own.

The project very well develops its product, the only negative, very few exchanges, it is very difficult to buy, the volumes are very small and the offer is limited.

Liquidity is the big problem which is hurting this project so badly even we are into very suitable situation so if this could get succeed to enter on a big exchange than it will rise so fast. This is just another good chance to buy this token at this price which is really cheap for this of platform.

I didn't expect Bitfinex listing either. Hope we'll see new listings with growing userbase.

The unexpected was news, everyone was talking about cryptos, and here is the stock exchange from the top 3. Now they will launch the main network and then Decher will not be deterred from rapid growth.

I also agreed with you it's worth to buy this token while it is under the ICO price. This is undervalued token while dev has ability to deliver this platform soon and it will be nice investment of the year. I hope so more good news will come and it will make the growth wonderful.

I have to say it’s the first time they delayed something and if they say it’s a delay max 30days (means personal beta will come in may) I truly believe it, just from the fact that every time Dether team said something here they made it happen in the timeframe they told us. Weeks ago everyone was asking for an exchange and they told us they will take care that everyone will have access to buy tokens on a big exchange until beta comes out. We have bitfinex one of the largest exchanges in the world. (Mean this is already good marketing for Dether)
We got the airdrop for ico Rate on time like they told us! We have new partnerships and due to this great updates for the upcoming app.
We have a great telegram channel so far. With always open ears for Criticism, always honest and always try do solve problems and answer questions.
The bug bounty is also nice to involve the community and help to make Dethers Start better.

We are thrilled to announce a new partnership with AirSwap, the decentralized trading network!  Airswap is a token network powering the decentralized web, which allows you to trade any ERC20 tokens without any fees. AirSwap currently offers 65 tokens using three different wallets on their site: MetaMask, Ledger, and Trezor. 👛👛👛

Both AirSwap and Dether believe that decentralization is at the heart of blockchain technology and that the way we buy, sell, store, and exchange our tokens should reflect that.  To make this a reality, the process of obtaining DTH needed to be decentralized and easy for our users to access!
