In your opinion, what 3 coins have the highest potential to moon in price in January?

Why do you think they will moon?

Why do all people think that everything will grow in January? If bitcoin goes into a strong correction, the question will sound like this:
Which three coins will fall less in January?

I think request network is a strong pick for january. OmiseGo is also worth looking into

I agree. But lets assume that Bitcoin will be stable.

Right now the best coins to watch will be BCH, DASH and XRP . Bitcoin Cash is getting a good pump these days and have crossed $3500 on coinmarket and $8500 on coinbase. It would be a delight to see how far it goes. DASH has reached $1500 and if BTC doen't spike up then DASH may cross $2000 until the next month. XRP is at it's all time highs at $0.8 and many investors are waiting for it to reach $1 . I am pretty sure there will be a good dump in Ripple when it reaches $1 . Bitcoin is going down right now and it's fees sounds ridiculous to me. Why would anybody want to invest in it anymore seeing it's huge fees.

Agreed.  Better to choose a coin that has rock solid tech, use case, dev team and community.  The last thing you want is to get stuck in a shit coin that you only planned to ride for a quick return, when the next market crash happens in crypto.  At the same time, pick a deeply undervalued solid coin, so you still have your chance to ride a rocket.

I agree with most of the replies on this post. January we will see a huge correction on BTC. The tech is slow and 3x-4x the fees. The coins that will survive or 3 coins to watch would be Cardano, IOTA and BCC. Cardano and IOTA because they are in itself a new breed of platforms (little to no fees and hella fast tx)  and BCC where we might see a huge inverse switch in the BTC community. BTC might drop its #1 spot and a new crypto might arise.

Assuming that, I would say then to look out for the other major players like ETH, BCH and LTC. IOTA could also surprise us again probably good idea to look for it too.

I agree with your opinion, we should not be speculating for months, but for days, and even then it is risky, the market is very fragile in relation to investment at any time the Bear market may appear.

At this point everything seems inflated and I am not sure at what 'level' I am getting in and what the support line is. If correction happens I might suffer a great loss... For example, TRON was pumped 500%+ in just one week and even though I see the potential I am not willing to buy at this point even if I miss another pump.... the risk of dumping is just too big.

The best coin in january is Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum and Dash. But you can see in coinmarketcap some altcoin have increased price, i think in 2018 is years of altcoin.

and I think the best 3 coins in january are definitely bitcoin, ETH, and Litecoin / BCH.

Most of them have already reached moon or are on their way to reach moon. See the charts of dash no one really talks about it much but the prices are already plunging towards a potential  $2k. See the price of ltc already doubled 5 times , eth doubled twice , omg  twice , qtum 5 times i don't get it what else you want.

Stop observing the more you wait the more loss you will gain invest now.

Assuming that the recent dip in the cryptocurrency markets (especially BTC) isn't the end of this latest bull market and is simply people cashing out for Christmas (to return after Christmas and drive the price up again), then I suspect SpectreCoin (XSPEC), BitCoin Cash (BCH), and LiteCoin will do well (with XSPEC doing the best).

My reasoning is because:

XSPEC is a solid privacy coin that's very undervalued, largely because the community and development team have been focusing on putting out quality technology instead of marketing for quite some time now. Their endeavors have born fruit, too, give their full Tor integration with OBSF4 so it'll work in countries that normally block Tor, the recent incorporation with BISQ, and a lot more. LiteCoin is BitCoin Lite, and people who are just getting into cryptocurrency, such as because they just watched something on CNN or talked with a friend one drunken night, are going to reach for it a lot like how people who can't afford gold reach for silver. For this reason, I think LiteCoin will do well.

BitCoin Cash is doing well, and will do well, because its transaction costs and confirmation times are much lower than BitCoin Core's. BCH shows greater promise of being used as a medium of exchange for everyday low cost purchases. For this reason, if BTC doesn't change, I think BCH will eventually surpass BTC. In those places that don't experience a hostile regulatory environment, BCH will likely do very well.

With all that said, in the event of a government regulatory crackdown, which I think is going to happen sometime in the future, the privacy coins are going to be ones that have the greatest value. It'll be the privacy coins, after all, that best protect their users from the regulators.

I think if bitcoin correction, the other altcoin will start growing. As we know that altcoin will down if bitcoin rise so the other side bitcoin correction and the other grow.

Also I think that  SYS and IOTA are worth a look. 
Do your own research but I think the tech is worth paying for, and if you aren't interested in any of them at the very least you should dload BLOCKMARKET and BISQ.  They're free and play into all crypo users.

I'm very excited for Oyster Pearl PRL to rise this month of January and I'm very excited about this coin I invested last two months ago while its very very cheap. I would like to see myself as an investor for Cryptocurrency particularly in Oyster Pearl coin.

I bought 2 Bitcoin Cash last October while it was $250 per coin. Now, I'm feeling good always whenever I see Bitcoin Cash continually increases and look at the price of bitcoin cash, amazingly $1,800. That's the best decision I made 3 months ago.

Waves, bitcoin and monetha. Monetha is an interesting payment solution project located in Europe, working with global partners to expand. Waves is also doing nice things last weeks.

Monetha, ADA, IOTA.  There are my favorite coins. The rising will just begin. Watch well  :D

Many coins may go to moon in the next month or so, for top three I'd say Bitcoin Cash, Ripple and DGB.
All of these have already gone up half way to the moon, but I think this time they'll go way beyond.

I have the feeling if bitcoin falls, other currency's will rise. Thats what happened last ~5 days.

In addition to recommending as other users coins such as Xspec and Monetha (but these are long-term coins, not just January), I want to suggest for January EIDOO currency that in January should release and start with the first part of the decentralized exchange on its Mobile APP.
Eidoo is a very large project, with the mobile wallet of Eth and token erc20 but in Q1 will also be implemented Bitcoin wallet, then Zcash; in addition there will be a debit card always connected to the mobile app and much more.

In January it could explode if it keeps the promise of the exchange!

I'm actually a big fan of Eidoo myself. Very solid project. Probably my second choice next to Oyster right now.

Waves new updates have already come, and as you can see almost 250% appreciation already but still lots more room to go, I'm with you on that. ETH is doing surprisingly well to now hit back above $700, while LTC can no longer make a pass at $300 so while there won't be a $1k breakthrough this year or even Q1 2018, Eth can make a strong case now for "stability" at current levels.

I sold off my DGB to regain almost inital outlay, and was happy to do so as it has again slipped down 30%. Hold for June at least, for me, before reevaluating. Why's Digibyte your favorite again?

Top 3 coins to watch in january could be:

1. Edgeless - They already got the licence and version launch/registration starts on January 8th. And new version launch on January 18th.

I agree with you, that not all coins will grow in January, but my estimation is still the eth, ltc, monero coin that will always bite bitcoin.

At the moment we see Ripple unexpected leap and surpassed ethererum, lets see how long Ripple can handle to be top among altcoins because still i believed Ethereum will bounce back to reclaim the place in which for how many years it already build a foundation of trust as altcoin best choice but lets not forget the bitcoin cash too that who knows it will make an unexpected leap again so therefore my pick for altcoins are Ethreum, Ripple and bitcoin cash.

I will not choose 3 altcoins, all my bet is on Storm token. They new token and will be list on Bittrex soon because they have CEO of Bittrex in their team  ;)

I think DeepOnion will see a big increase in 2018. Current marketcap is 33mUSD, they are soon to launch DeepSend which will make deeponion transactions some of the most private ones out there (All transactions and blockchain runs on the Tor Network)

Of those who in January can shoot it GUPPY. View their road map in January, a bunch of events. The price has already risen to 1.5 dollars to 30 cents. Many believe the spring more than 10 dollars. I highly recommend to keep in the portfolio

My top three coins for this January are IOTA, OMG, and STRAT. But I will go for IOTA for the mean time. developers of strat, are doing their est which makes me like them for their hard works. 2017 was a year to make the world aware of cryptos, who believed will be rich and who didn't will stay with same condition :D.

But only for January my guess would be SunContract. They just started their peer-to-peer electricity in EU. This has great potential. Its rival is Power Ledger which is Australia based and is 20x SunContract marketcap and is actually behind on development.

My top 3 coins to watch in January are:

1. Ark

My humble opinion.

1) XRP Ripple. I do not see it go beyond the value of 3$, even if it reaches the market cap of BTC I do not think it acquires a value over 6$. I'm just waiting for 3$ to start selling.

2) AEON. I see a great future for this coin not only for the anonymity acquired by XMR and mining much easier for the Cryptolite algorithm. The market cap is still very low as well as day trade. Potentially it can reach the value of the Monero in a year.

3) Hush. Very undervalued coin. No exchange other than Cryptopia. Very low market cap. The best clone of Zcash and Zencash with more features. It will go to the Zen/Zcash tracks.

4) SONM. A tested verified software now in testnet. Mining possible also by mobile phone and playstation. I'm actually buying this one.

5) ADA, Verge and Xlm. These coins are on the shields now. I do not know the possibilities but they are growing bloody.

I agree with two quotes cited, Ethereum, Waves, I distrust Bitcoin Cash which in my opinion is much speculation, but we can add NEO, a strong currency for January , we should be aware in your graphic.

I think bitcoin will remain on top.

This project has made a lot of noise with its long time ICO (1 yeas). And now the project team literally pampers its coin to the moon. ::)

I'm watching Oyster Pearl PRL, Clout and AltOWL coins because I owned them and I want to see them grow for my future.
I'm glad invested in these coins that made me instant millionaire in my local country currency.
At least I have a decent Job so I could support myself and my family whatever we need.
But those coins will probably increase more and I'm gonna use them to fund my projects.

I heard about EOS and it's a tremendously good coin and it's already on top as one of the strongest coin next to Bitcoin, Ethereum and other top Altcoins.

Im awaiting th the growth of SIA, EDG, GUP. In one of the  threads is discussed about 3 dollars per Sia coin in the Februar ;) so , i dont believe such a huge growth , but it should growth anyway. I see sia coin with 600-800 per coin, EDG - 35-40 k satoshi and Gup - 15-20k satoshi.

It is impossible to guess which coins exactly will raise in January. It is possible to track only general trends and make an approximate fundamental analysis and forecast. Atm I bet on TRX, DRGN and NEU (reliable small cap project).

this is a very promising coin. Given thr trading volume of Binance and the possibility of a discount on the exchange commission. and the most interesting is that the coin can be exchanged for projects promoted by the Binance. this makes a very powerful pump!

I am right now invested in Linda as my "gamble coin" - just because the Team tries so hard and they still mess up every one of their tweets. But the crypto-community is not always reasonable, so I will stick with it for a few months.

My other picks of this month are LUX, Po.et, Upfiring and Ambrosus. I am very curious how they turn out.

It is easy to know that, it is plenty of good altcoins to invest at the moment. I am now investing in Elixir, Bounty0x and a few more others. Dragonchain is pretty cheap right now, maybe it is a good time to invest some money in there.

I quite like Linda and it has risen quite a bit lately. The market is showing some positive signs but I think the volatility is not over yet and whale speculators want to squeeze the market down to collect more coin of lower value. The market is strongly influenced by the large potential investors, which is quite difficult for new investors to enter the market.

I/O Coin (IOC) is good coin to watch these weeks. Heard good things from the BTC Miami. Rumor also that they have some big news upcoming and low marketcap (room to growth).

Now also only on Bittrex and they are working on more exchanges. Bittrex doesn't allow new users, so if they listed on a other exchange it can explode also.

eth, ripple and litecoin are the three most interesting coins in the market in early 2018. If you do not like altcoin you can buy bitcoin at current prices.

Deeponion - Great tech and team, huge community, they are adding new tech/functionality and underpriced for a  Privacy coin
Coss.io - Exchange coin that shares 50% of all fees on platform to holders, underpriced and big things coming
Telcoin - Relatively new and still very underpriced, yet to go for a big run and cheap

I think the top 3 coins that you should probably watch this January are coins you can choose in the top 10. As of now, I don't see any altcoin having the capability to beat any altcoin that is in the top 10 right now.

I think Walton Coin (WTC) is a strong contender for January and all of 2018.

Universa, WePower, Singularity are my favorites for January. New coins, so they will most likely grow a lot. Regarding the more established coins; VeChain is being very promising. Many new partnerships and a rebranding coming!
