Title: 8x GPU Riser-less Motherboard Mining Rig Build w/ 1070 TI Post by: VoskCoin on December 21, 2017, 05:07:00 AM Thanks to Phil (dont bug him he doesn't carry stock of these xD) I was able to pickup one of the Onda B250 BTC D8P Ver. 1 Mobo's which has 8 full size PCIE slots and 12 total PCIE slots on the board. I slapped 8x 1070 TI's on it and here are the results! I think this will be the hot new trend of 2018 . . but BTC Talk did it first!

How do you power 3 Molex and 3 SATA with a server PSU?

For example my result for GTX1070ti is about 530-540 sol/s, this achieved @ PL 90, core +208 mem +300 and temps are really low - like 62 -67C degrees Title: Re: 8x GPU Riser-less Motherboard Mining Rig Build w/ 1070 TI Post by: tpd09 on December 21, 2017, 09:20:42 AM Well, I think this is not really good in a long run, cause gpus are very close to each other, that's why temp should be high there. Otherwise a water cooled set up is the alternative. Title: Re: 8x GPU Riser-less Motherboard Mining Rig Build w/ 1070 TI Post by: umine on December 21, 2017, 10:08:56 AM I like your reports! They are informative and detail. But there is the question: Why do you place GPUs so close to each other? It's not good for the cooling. Of course your presented temperatures are amazing. But the distance about 8-10 centimeters between GPUs I think the best choise Title: Re: 8x GPU Riser-less Motherboard Mining Rig Build w/ 1070 TI Post by: VoskCoin on December 23, 2017, 07:03:35 PM I'm interested if this can run 8 1080Tis.
