Title: What is up with my trust list? Post by: Jaxkr on July 26, 2013, 09:06:21 PM I was looking through my settings, and my trust list was strange.
It had all kinds of duplicate names, and multiple levels of indentation, and all kinds of stuff. "DefaultTrust" was even listed as a user in there! What does all of this mean? X X Yyyy Yyyy X Yyyy X would be people on your list, y is the people on their list. Default is two, options range from 1-3. Default trust is just a reference point you can use if you want, and don't know where to start. Title: Re: What is up with my trust list? When looking at a user's feedback you will probably find yourself giving more weight to some people's feedback more than others. That's the people who should be on your trust list, because that's what it does. Default is a good start if you don't know anyone and don't have any trades. It can help point out scammers at the very least. Just because someone is on your trust list, or anyone's, doesn't mean you should trust them implicitly (my default recommendation is trust nobody ;)), just that you value their feedback more than others. Because I have 4 points I can see and I've only had 1 BTC or so risked on me. |
