This is awesome. Open source gambling scripts are really needed. They take away some of the power sites like SatoshiDICE or Just-Dice have. Good job.

You could add api for sites like blockchain or inputs.io

Ew Inputs. That site is so insecure. The owners could steal your BTC any time they want, and you can't export your private keys.
Just don't use a web wallet for anything more than pocket change. For big stuff, use an encrypted desktop client or even an offline cold storage wallet on a Raspberry Pi.

Just like blockchain.info who could have been recording all your passwords that you feed to the API.

Not allowing people to export their private keys is a good thing because private keys should not be exported or reused for security reasons.

You could have been recording our passwords for all we know. Your site could be a scam for all we know. Maybe you're just waiting until enough people store enough bitcoins to take the money and run? What's stopping you?

How is it insecure?  It seems pretty professional.

No, because your browser hashes your password in the browser, and we don't ask you to send your password for the API (you use your API key which is not your password).

Any update on when the code will be ready. i would love to test it out and get a site up. I would also be willing to contribute some to the project if it is working.

Yep, it's been a couple of months.

I'm so glad this died, we don't need even more broken implementations of this crap. If someone comes up with a good implementation (and one of the factors will be that PHP won't be among the words used) then I'm all for it. The gambling section is breaking records with crap implementations already, 100x that doesn't help anyone.

Anyway, the coolest thing in this thread is TF talking about how inputs.io is secure and how it is not a scam. Let me save some of that:

This is just sad to say at least. He announced this open source project quite some time ago and then shifted it to a paid version and never gave any update in this post.

I'm quite sure this was just a marketing trick, very disappointing to be honest, as this would be great for the bitcoin community.

Btw, I'm not sure ofcourse, but i'm sad to see a full featured paid version from the same developer online, while nothing is done for this open source version.
It's his own dicision ofcourse, but the way he did it, atleast for me, is completely unfair.

I don't think donations would matter that much, as she screwed us on a way only people with false pretentions would do.

We're doing something "similar", and we're getting really close to launch.  I wasn't sure if I should bring it up, because it's not the same model, but here goes:
We built a platform that developers can create games on.  We host the website, handle deposits, match players in games, handle withdrawals, money movement, security, etc.
That way, the devs can just focus on making cool games.  We have a revenue sharing model.  Whatever revenue a game makes, we share 40% with the developer who created it.  Think of it like an App Store for bitcoin games. 

We already have two games we created on our own APIs, and we're busy creating a third.

Hhhmm first time I read about it, there was only a 20% revenue share. 40% is atleast way better, will consider it. :)
