However, there is a little bird going around claiming that there is another company called HashFast that is coming out with some good hardware. Hmmm..... Any thoughts?

Right now the mining space is just way too intense for me, honestly. Too many new players. I'm planning on staying out (aside from my involvement with the Klondike boards) until it cools down a bit. The specs posted, what little of them, are intriguing, but proof is in the silicone.

BFL may not know how to give accurate estimates (definitely an understatement) but they are definitely producing bitcoin mining hardware. I can't vouch for the quality of the ASIC hardware but their FPGAs are decent.[[If you don't know what I'm talking about, please refer to "Custom Hardware".... Mining > Hardware > Custom Hardware. ]] As for other ASIC miners/manufacturers, BitFury seems legit. Don't know anything about HashFast though. |
