Please read the entire thread.

Ive been fortunate to be with Zefir's batch 1 group buy with 200 avalon chips, these chips have arrived(!) and Zefir has sent them to Burnin for pcb manufacturing of his bitburner XX boards (as of 26th July) (i have ordered 10 from Burnin already)

Expected delivery of these fully assembled boards with my chips, to my address (in the UK) is estimated to be around the first week of August (this is confirmed by Burnin)

These boards can achieve up to 9 g/hash with proper aircooling.

These boards are compatible with the bog-standard cgminer, it currently supports overclocking, however further work (planned by the cgminer devs) is required for the overvolting, this is expected to be released soon. Overvolting support has now been released! - https://github.com/ckolivas/cgminer/pull/467

Here is a quote from Burnin about the performance he gets out of the chips:

Shop Timing:
And i have some numbers to go with those from yesterday:
Slightly different air cooling setup therefore different temperatures with air cooling. (fan placement)
TL;DL : 450Mhz [9Ghash/s] - STABLE
But at the cost of 94Watts of power.

Air:
431 - 54, 48, 1.30V, 87W, stable
450 - 56, 48, 1.30V, 90W, HW Errors
450 - 57, 52, 1.34V, 94W, slightly increased error rate compared to what i normally call "stable" but close enough

Water:
450 - 54, 32, 1.34V, 94W, slightly less hw errors then with air

How to purchase and what you'll get

Escrow with JohnK preferred.

110 BTC buy it now (post in here), or nearest accepted offer (PM ME OFFERS ONLY)

  • 10 x Bitburner XX - up to 9Ghash each (90 Ghash total), with Burnin's 2 year limited warranty. (Warranty to be clarified with Burnin)
  • 1x 1000w Enermax Galaxy DX Powersupply (model: EGX1000EWL) - this should have enough guts / cables / plugs / wires to power all these boards.
  • 1x CAN-BUS stacking cable (allows you to stack 16 units together)
  • 1x 10 port powered USB hub (just incase the can-bus plays up?)
  • 10x micro usb cables (to connect to the micro-usb port)

Shipping:

You'll pay for shipping, assume a total of 6-8KG, shipping from the UK, im happy to ship worldwide. (If you want the shipment to be lighter we can minus the powersupply + other stuff)

Shipping costs will be calculated by both parties, happy to ship by any company you choose, shipping costs to be added to cost of sale.

When i receive the units, i will ship next business day! (i will also take photos etc)

I wont accept returns for the items, you'll need to negotiate any faults / issues with Burnin as he will supply the warranty.

More information about the Bitburner XX here:

Again devices are expected to arrive first week of August! - Just around the corner!!

any chance you will sell the cards seperately?

You will not achieve the advertised performance immediately, as cgminer does not support Bitburner overvolting yet.

Accoring to Burnin, at 1.3v you should be able to achieve a stable 431mhz per chip, or roughly 8.6 Ghash

Kano (cgminer dev) will be looking into the overvolting spec once he receives a board from burnin (which Burnin has agreed to public) - talking weeks here, rather than months, then you can push the boards to 1.34volts and 450mhz for 9 Ghash with appropriate cooling.

You could say the same for every ASIC device on the market place at the moment, anyhow, i took the risk, i bought in early with the ASIC groupbuy's, and i really don't want to keep the devices now (my situation has changed - third baby on the way, and we need a new house, hence the need for £'s)

I have the advantage because i have the units arriving in about a week, and as they say, time is money.

For other devices on the market place going for about 1.25 - 2 BTC per Ghash - that are available in peoples hands right now (not preorders), i think my price targeting is fair.

Yes, if no one wants to purchase all 10 by end of tomorrow say 10pm UK time (BST), ill switch this, to allow each bitburner XX to be purchased individually at say 11 BTC each. Put your mark down if you interested in this option  :)

Did you expect anything else?  Everything having to do with ASIC or BTC is always about greed

it still amazes me that a 5Ghash butterfly labs miner someone paid 280 dollars for sells for 1500+ and people actually pay for it

PS: Just to confirm that OP has PM'ed me regarding this, and I've agreed to escrow this. Just drop me a PM with the details when a deal is struck, thanks!

These come with heatsink or without? Burnin has both options on his store...

I might be interested but I have a hard time with you advertising 9GH per card.

1) You can't yet overclock with voltage control
2) You don't know what your cards will reach
3) That will probably remove the warranty, so you can't sell with both
4) That's pretty inefficient for the same performance as an Avalon, without a case, hard to ship, requires a host computer and all ghetto modded

Hi Dogie :)

1) You can overclock with the current stock cgminer. Voltage control patches have been submitted for merging
2) Agreed, there is a little unknown on that point
3) Ill clarify that with Burnin, and update the OP
4) performance per watt, agreed, as overclocking the chips / voltage adjustment draws more amps etc.

Ah, thanks, i stand corrected.

Hopefully Kano merges soon then.

Are these sold?

Has the price been adjusted closer to reality?

Selling cards individually?

just get 10 of bitburners, can't run it. bitburner is visible by windows, but nothing happening after I run CGminer . CGminer-fpga says no appliance connected...zadig installed. Any ideas?

Lukasz.

CGminer-fpga is the wrong version. Bitburner-XX is ASIC based, not FPGA. Get the normal cgminer and you'll probably get it running.
