I always check their website  and team as well. How about you guys? Do you go by suggestion or do you do research on the ICO?

I base it on a few factors....must have a whitepaper with detailed information about their mission, the website needs to be more professional looking, they aren't making growth claims (ie...buy for .05, will go to .75), and people have mentioned them in a social feed. This worked for me when getting into the Dragonchain (DRGN) ICO, for example.  Also, looking at Bob's Repair, which, from my perspective only, looks interesting on their upcoming ICO.  Good luck out there and never invest more than you are comfortable losing.

Choose the ICO that has existing product in the market or any services in real life,a good development team,whitepaper and its short and long term goals roadmap,good community's feedback,good investors or partners,distribution of its supply must be fair to the investors, and many other things to consider.

If the development team is willing to put their name out there, along with pictures and possibly linking their LinkedIn profiles as well, it shows that they are taking their ICO seriously. Most ICOs throw around random names with no portraits, and honestly it makes me trust that ICO less.

I check how they are promoting, how well they are explaining and representing thr coin or token, in this case i will mentioned bit-degree, see how professionaly they are promoting and expressing. That is how I hunt the ICOs.

when I look ICOs, first I search their team and adivisor. I look linknd I google them. If they have good carier after I can trust them. After I read their white paper. Its most important to do it.

You should do some research before investing in some ICO's ,read the whitepaper, see if the developers are good (by searching them on linkedin for example), see if they site is good, understand if the coin have some good sponsor, see why this coin is different from others

Any way, if I choose ICO for take part in its bounty or for investments, I always check it by myself. I check its site, read the white paper & roadmap, search in the internet its members of the team.  

Low market cap, good team, good project, everything must be very clear before ico. If a project has all of these, I might think of investing in it.

I take some suggestions from a few friends and I use a few things to immediately judge an ICO such as the look and feel of site and the level of interest, after that if I'm interested I read the whitepaper and then look at how it will fit in and who they'll compete with.

Checking team is most important for me. Than whitepaper and website for detailed informations about ICO and roadmap. After that I read some comments on ANN to see what other people think about that ICO.

The most important thing is the value of the token after the ico. It's desirable that the number of tokens remains unchanged or even decreased later. Well if the holders of the tokens are promised a portion of the profits and discounts on the services of the project or at least tokens can be used as an internal currency for payments. Even better  if the company intends to redeem tokens with a premium to the placement price within the agreed timeframe. It's bad if the company continues to unrestrictedly issue tokens % so your investments will quickly depreciate.

Sometimes some people have money for ads and reputable staff but they fail to provide good product and serviece.
Mainly if I don't like the website and idea I don't want to waste my time to read that much, first reading of white paper is just to skim through but at end I sit down and read it in detail.

I judge the quality of ICO from its appeal, if they have a crowd I am sure ICO is most likely to succeed.
And the important thing is the project's vision and mission is good for the long term or it will only die in the short term

I like to see old members involved
When it is pumped by the old members of crypto I know they do not play around, they know what is good and what is not and they truly want crypto to succeed.

I see everyone commenting on this thread has a 2017 registration date - which means you were not around to see the hard work put in by old developer teams and you just happened to get in at the right time cause pretty much everything pumped this year - split wide open-

Definitely put some time into learning who the team is, how long have they been involved in crypto's and what is the ICO for, how active are they in informing their community about what is going on with developments.

Personally I like to see more than just a block chain and marketing in place, I like to see real results, I just read through the NXT IGNIS ICO and the way that team followed through with what they are doing and I think i would have been first in line to join if I would have been active in the forums to see the ANN, but that is cause I know what that team is capable of - its not a gamble - I know that they can produce results and continue to back up what they have built in the past.

Listen to people that have been involved in crypto for years - that is what I do.

One of the best indicators is popularity. At least it reduces the chance of it being useless. After that I dig a little deeper in to whitepaper and try understand what the project is about. Overall I don't take part in many ICOs as I feel more often than not they're cheaper after ICO than before.

if they have a partners from a big company i think they will have a good result in the end

These days its hard to tell with so many ICO's...
only if i like the idea i start to dig more and watch the team and the community around it
i did invest in an ICO for a long time, didnt find interesting ones
its better to invest when the coin is on the market and you see whats going on

First of all, the team has good experience in the past, the presence of at least the initial stage of product, a detailed witepaper and a clear roadmap

IMO I will look at the product, their roadmap, how active they are on social media
The  team behind it is not guaranteed how they will be
I will not include lending platform ICO on my list, cause I think sooner or later it will become SCAM

Two main criteria for me is the team and the idea. It is also important what part of the project is already ready and how well the technological aspects are described.

Choosing a good ico is just checking their team , mission of the company website , white paper and their road map. Partners of the company and the investors of it.

Same as you, im always checking their website to see what kind of ico they offering, and checking who is the sponsor of the ico, who the founder, and what kind of product or service that the ico sell. Even sometimes i got a suggestion from my brother or friends im still double check it to make sure my self that i join the right bounty. And there is another way to check the ico good or not, you could see from the first sale of the ico. Some icos gives a bar of how many tokens that they have sell that time.

How can you make sure that the ico good or not just from checking the website? Wasting time.
Team developer and marketing team are important. Working product also important.

I think a project is alright to invest in when there is a more than a roadmap released for the coin.

In conditions when such a flow of projects, I at least check the availability of a working product. This at least shows that the team is working. This of course does not confirm that the ICO will be successful, but the probability rises. If there is no work product, then this should be a really breakthrough concept and a powerful team that can implement it and to which there is trust.

this is my criteria for a good ico :
- Have a advisor with good track record
- Have a lot of capital to pay campaign participants
- Ads are everywhere
- Has a detailed white paper
- Roadmap makes sense

There are many ways to understand if an ICO is good or bad. Persoanlly i check these things ; who is behind the project and does he have a good background and cv , then i check the project if it is good and doable project.

I think that ICO is good because they are raising money, they have a great team and they can easily get participants.

Well, for me before i choose that ICO is good. I conduct a research if the foundation are strong and of course capacity of capital to pay to participants in campaign and people's recommendation with regards to good feedbak coming from the experience users because that's the important in all aspect of ICO.

Definitely Ico is good but to think if it is good I always make some research before putting money or investing on it. Also, the background of their head to be able to lead the Ico project. And most important an advised from a good friends on where they will invest in ico.

The simplest way is to read theyre ANN thread and you will see that the community reacts to a good project. At a good project there will be 20+ pages in the first day of the ann and this is for me a big good sign that it is a worthy project. Also i never invest in the first week even if this means that i loose the biggest bonus. I prefer to get smaller bonus but after ther first week i can see the amount of money they managed to get and is there is the posibility for them to go forward with the roadmap.

I try to read the ANN Thread and see how people thinks and give feedback about the ICO and their words really matters to me, sometimes people ask a good question about the ICO and I look how the developers will answer or react because thru that I can able to assess if their ICO is a good venture or not and base on peoples feedback I can also see if that ICO will be supported by crowd or not

Because ICO can make a good profit, check the ICO project to check the white paper and technical route, which will give you something to gain.

for me i check the feature of the coin what is the benefits of using it and what problem it will solve
then check the price of the token and the max supply if the token is not  overprice that can become good investment
and then check the team if it have atleast 15 member but if the coin have good feature more than 10 is still good

We can say that an ICO is good by visiting their ANN thread and reading feedbacks. We can also opt to download thileir whitepaper to review the project's goal, mission, vission and the team behind it. If we see that the idea is good and achievablee then it is more likely to succeed.

I usually check the website and the whitepaper, then after checking those I look at the team especially the developers and CEO’s of the ICO. Checked them if they are real people through linked.in and see if they are not scammers or the like.

First of all check the company is it fake or original? search for it in detail through Google.
Read the white paper deeply as the plan described or the road map in the whitepaper are the company is following it or is leagale.
Team members( search for the Ad visors and team leader) are the team is fake or fraudt or are real personalities.
must check the social networks of the project as there you will find the project/ICO real face through followers comments and sharing.
and in last always join the ICO which is listed in top ICO listing websites

You will not instantly see ICOs in icobench etc especially when its brand new. A good ICO updates people about its status every now and then. I check updates via telegram. You will know when an ICO is promising if it keeps its people updated and if it has progress. They usually tell whether the ICO is close at achieving their soft or hard cap.

Good team with positive experience, great idea, minimum product availability and good marketing

If the bounty pool is smth like 10 000 eth equivalent - then ICO is good

The most important to do if you want to know about good ICOs check the whitepaper, check the background if thier team is not fake, check also the website. You need to be wisely to choose ICOs because now a days, they have so many ICOs now are scammers.

There are so many ICO projects and majority of them will be unsuccessful at the end of the day. What i think will make a good ICO are an efficient team, a good whitepaper and roadmap.

I do the background check and make some research about the ICO most probably reading the white paper and ANN thread those will really helps a lot especially when I am planning to investbor participate with that particulat ICO. Another thing is that I look into the people behind the ICO on how they response and promote it because promotions or advertising really makes a different in any type of markets

I don't think it is enough to see a ICO by its website and its member that usually we can found mentioned at the site .
Perosnally I myself not believe in the team that are usually shown in sites Because I seen many times that they used internet photos and use them to show as memeber of Thier ICOs project but in actual they makes face show or team , Thier remain nothing .
I see only the basic concept that why they will get investors and also see toward the factors that how many platforms and which platforms are advertising thier project , if project will be better then surely than ICOs will have some better quality and we should invest them .

Most of the time you can identify a good ico with a good team members. That's why I always check project's team members in very detail almost like detective. After that I decide if I want to join that ICO or not.

In ICO people sells coins take our  own price but  either who invest coin they earn more profit than sells

Yes, absolutely agree if they are not clear what they are trying to do, it does not make me have good thoughts about the projects.

For me first thing i do to know if the ICO if it is good,a good starting point is in the ANN thread it is a strong recommended that i read the messages carefully.Investors concern will be answered in this thread and you can sense it if it is some kind of ponzi scheme if the developers avoid answering certain question or aren't collaborating.

I always do my own research about the ICO and check everything. The team, Token distribution, how active the team is on their communication channels, if the project already has a product/alpha, the duration of the token sale and a lot of other things.

In addition with that, the manager handling ICO must be in high rank and they have already run with another project. For a lot of ICO exist today's, there is no 100% guarantee legit even it is run by reputable CM because it depends also the owner of that certain project.

Although there are many scam ICO right now. There are still some ICO's that have good idea and are legits. One way to make sure that you have found the right ICO, is to make sure that the team behind the project is a trusted one.

Why? Just because many people get a couple of times in return for investing in ICO projects, I think the ICO is profitable, but I always think that ICO is a huge bubble.

My opinion good ICO is that project should has working product or minimum MVP(Minimum Viable Product) , this is prove that project serious to development their idea and planing. I think all of investors of ICOs always check the website, so do i personality i do my research on the ICOs projects before making investment in them, i think that ICOs is good if they are have new innovations in digital coins and there are no many competitors about the projects of ICOs. The other aspects i choose investment in the ICOs is how much the community of them, i could checked about it on their announcement thread and their social media and activity developers of team for the ICOs projects.

If i invest, money is mine. Therefore decision should be mine. I read whitepaper and all other details. Analyse its strength. Compare it with successful icos and take my decision. I would also like to see other suggestions. But final decision should be mine.

there are so many things to be considered before making a good investment. Like project problem solving, product status, product market, team check etc, but I always invest which I can afford to lose.

For checking a good Ico, i always check develope team firstly. It is better than if they public their names on website, and no one in team has involve in a bad review. Secondly, i will check its whitepaper and roadmap to know what its idea is and whether the ico has gained as its roadmap. Finally, i check its community, a goodcommunity will make this ico more positive

If I am going to invest in ICO, then I check the company in many ways: team, white paper, social networks, the implementation of the road map. The more closely you check the company, the more likely that you will increase your capital by investing money.

Well i think it is better to read their white paper first to see what their project is all about. Next, do some research about their coin distribution and lastly, check the team governing the project it. A good team is a sign of success but not all the times :)

I do research on what a particular project stand for and most time read the white paper of those projects. I have not been good in analyze the ico based on it teams though but reading comments made in the Ann thread of those ico and not only that but also on twitter and facebook. I think how a project is being promoted do also determined how well the project will perform after hitting the market. We should be also warn that 95% of the  ico projects that has happened fail after one year! Therefore, you should not put all your egg in one basket.
