Title: Re: Wow Post by: Un zafado cualquiera on July 06, 2011, 05:18:58 AM Seriously...¿how is posible to deferring too much power suddenly?
Title: Re: Wow Post by: fascistmuffin on July 06, 2011, 05:21:08 AM Sad be the day when you need a back up pool for your back up pool.
Title: Re: Wow Post by: IlbiStarz on July 06, 2011, 05:24:42 AM Sad be the day when you need a back up pool for your back up pool. A few weeks ago it was a backup for a backup for a backup for a backup for a backup. 5 pools were down I think. I wonder if we will ever need a backup to solo mine lol. Title: Re: Wow Post by: sealkid on July 06, 2011, 08:51:46 AM bitcoin is only 2 weeks old for me, I joined slush and BTCGuild to test mining out. I was happy enough on there for days until the intermittent connection problems. I'm now using those two as backups and have been with Triplemining https://sealkid.triplemining.com/register (https://sealkid.triplemining.com/register) for a week with only minor connect issues. This smaller pool will be where I mine for the foreseeable future, and I think the more pools the better, since the higher profile ones will be targetted by whoever. My payouts have been better on Triplemining anyway thanks to their minipool system and payout structure.
Title: Re: Wow Post by: Man From The Future on July 06, 2011, 11:49:09 AM Someone should make a new pool called "other" for the lulz :D I'm onto it... :D"You may only join this pool if you have been verified to be using ASICs"? :D Title: Re: Wow Post by: Oldminer on July 06, 2011, 11:55:07 AM Try this 'other' pool (click my banner below) ;D

Title: Re: Wow Post by: lebuen on July 06, 2011, 01:47:08 PM And now deepbit is approaching 50% again... people, why do you let this happen? Join some small pool, accept the variance, enjoy the better stability and lower stale rates, profit.
Title: Re: Wow Post by: kookiekrak on July 06, 2011, 02:56:15 PM not to mention lower fees, higher profit, etc.
Title: Re: Wow Post by: teflone on July 06, 2011, 03:44:15 PM I dont get, I make the least at deepbit.. their fees must be crazy high...
I've tried them all.. deepbit is fast, but dosent account for the lost money in fees... cause its alot... trust me people Title: Re: Wow Post by: xtoro on July 07, 2011, 07:14:23 AM I dont get, I make the least at deepbit.. their fees must be crazy high... I'm only on week 2 (0r 3?) of mining and I was on deepbit for the longest time until it went down for a bit. Switch to bitclockers for the past 2 days and I've been getting WAY more BTC paid out than I ever did with deepbit! Title: Re: Wow Post by: jdebunt on July 07, 2011, 07:16:17 AM try triplemining, they still offer the highest payments i've ever seen in a pool so far...:)
Title: Re: Wow Post by: lebuen on July 07, 2011, 07:18:02 AM try triplemining, they still offer the highest payments i've ever seen in a pool so far...:) yeah, for the ones who create minipools and spam the forums to attract more victims ::)Title: Re: Wow Post by: Litt on July 07, 2011, 07:07:09 PM And now deepbit is approaching 50% again... people, why do you let this happen? Why worry when the world knows when to DDoS the the 50%+ culprit and maintain order lol. ;D Title: Re: Wow Post by: teflone on July 07, 2011, 07:34:57 PM try triplemining, they still offer the highest payments i've ever seen in a pool so far...:) yeah, for the ones who create minipools and spam the forums to attract more victims ::)I mined with 3 days there with 1.5 g hash, a "estimated" reward of 53 bitcents.. Whoa! I can retire now.. they are still lookin for that block I started on.. Title: Re: Wow Post by: talpan on July 07, 2011, 07:36:36 PM May be it's time for namecoin :)

Whoa! I can retire now.. they are still lookin for that block I started on.. Problem is low mhash = high variance. For example, triplemining is chugging along at ~60Ghash now, so they should on average find about a block in just over a day. But it could be 5 days, or 3 hours. Title: Re: Wow Post by: Jack of Diamonds on July 07, 2011, 10:06:36 PM I quit mining at deepbit because the fees are ridiculous.
In the long term, for every 100 BTC you mine at deepbit you'll be getting 103 if you mined at a 0% pool. Title: Re: Wow Post by: imperi on July 07, 2011, 10:28:34 PM Mr. McGuire: I just want to say one word to you. Just one word.
Benjamin: Yes, sir. Mr. McGuire: Are you listening? Benjamin: Yes, I am. Mr. McGuire: Namecoins. Title: Re: Wow Post by: grod on July 08, 2011, 01:39:36 AM If you haven't mined at deepbit then you won't understand.
You know why I do it? I'm getting less than *HALF A PERCENT* rejects. That's right. Half a percent. Not five. Not six. Half. That right there (plus not being down randomly, plus being credited for all submitted work) is why they're my #1 pool, with all the others as backups. And screw variance. If I wanted to risk it all I could solo mine. Title: Re: Wow Post by: muyoso on July 08, 2011, 01:56:14 AM If you haven't mined at deepbit then you won't understand. You know why I do it? If I wanted to risk it all I could solo mine. Thats neat, but every single time I project what I would make at deepbit vs other pools, deepbit is at least 20% less. I am pulling easily .5 BTC/day right now while deepbit would gain me at most .36 BTC/day. If I wanted to risk it all I could solo mine. Well, with deepbit I was getting about 0.28 BTC per day, highest was 0.36. With bitclockers I'm now getting 0.4-0.5 BTC daily. So I really don't care about rejections or "being credited for all submitted work" because in the end, what I get paid is all that matters, and I get paid less from deepbit, period. Money talks dude. |
