Title: 2018 year of the Doge in China?
Post by: vriendenweekend100.0 on December 25, 2017, 10:29:09 AM
Boys, girls,

The recent strong price increase of dogecoin,
is that because in China the year of the dog starts in February 2018?

Is that possible?
I think so!!

Dogecoin has a very large coin supply at over 112 billion so it will take
years to reach $1 if it ever does.

According to the Chinese calendar, the year of the dog really is. But I do not think DOGE coin tribes will show much interest.

I think, it may have a little effect °n dogeeoiu price. But the main reason are in my opinion the high network traffic on Bitcoin and the high fees. Dogecoin can be traded on many exchangers. The fees are low und the transactions are very fast. Also Doge is still cheap and prominent persons speculate on them. I see on lending section of Poloniex, that Dogecoins are also popular for margin trading und traders pay high interests.

It may even be coincidental, but I do not think there is any relationship with dogecoin increase, but we can speculate that recently the investments in Asia are gaining strength, maybe it is an indicator that China can come back. With this may be the year of the dog. (Doecoin)

Yes, maybe you are right, The Chinese are so superstitious, so they think that buying Dogecoin in the year of the dog can help them get lucky. Maybe Dogecoin will increase strongly in the future

I'm pretty sure that is just coincidence. The market is really bullish right now. Doge just happens to be another one of the coins that is shooting up in value. With everything going up in price, it's not hard to see why Doge is gaining some value as well.

Oh my DOGE!

My speculation is that despite its slow growth, DOGE could realistically hit $0.05 in 2018. We all know that the year of the dog would bring luck to all Dogecoin holders, but realistically there would be no guarantees.

I have 10,400+ Dogecoins in my possession, bought them while the price is at $0.006. Now it reached $0.01 for the first time in a few years, we'll see how this goes whether would be a huge dump? Or keep pumping a little bit?

Lots of communities are talking about this. There is even a special Twitter handle for the year of DOGE.

;D ;D Dogecoin transfers are very fast and cost-effective but However, transfer speeds seem to slow down when there is a density in the dogecoin network

Haha, what a kind of speculation is this? :D I dont think that dogecoin will rise so much just because it is year of dogs in china :D Doge marketcap is still to high and it a good buy at the bottom to make some fast money when all alts are rising.

We have the same thing on my mind too. I don't think that Doge will get attention for this year just because it's the year of the Dog.

Traders, investors and holders will never consider on what year where are we right now. Everyone is depending to a good basis, supply and demand, market cap which Doge has a good number.

But when it comes to supply, it is infinite and that's a very bad thing so there will be investors but they will exit after profiting and only few will hoard.

1 cent by end of february will be possible. It’s a good coin to transfer money.

I will not be surprised if around Chinese New Year (16th Feb) there will be super higher investment in Doge.. Chinese mentality is just like that..
Don't expect Doge to rise just because of Chinese mentality. Do you even think that they will be attracted to invest into Doge? It is also a Chinese mentality to only invest on those they see potential to profit and Doge ain't one of those because it's tech is not good and there is nothing to drive it into a bulish trend. I think they won't because they know it ain't profitable. Even if it did go up, it will only pump a little and that's it.

Dogecoin pump happened just because of general strong markets. I think china markets aren't in good shape after strict rules so I don't see anymore china oriented pumps to happen...
