Basically, BTC remians in a oscillating pattern, it seems to be gaining momentum. Do you guys think it's ready to pump again?

Psychologically, no panic sentiment spreads among most retail investors, meaning that current position may fail to become the bottom during this correction. Technically, volumes supported by bears are getting lower and lower, while strength from bulls is still limited, which, however, has little influence on the trend reversal. After the release of pressure from bears, it’s time for bulls to fight back.

Yesterday,the bitcoin price was 13180 USD.Now, it`s 14420 USD.Almost 1000 dollars for 24 hours is a pretty good "upward move".I don`t wanna make predictions ,but all the FUD and negative news can`t stop the bitcoin recovery.By the way,your didn`t post any analysis about the major altcoins,like you did in your previous posts.Why?Perhaps you realized  that the only cryptocurrency that matters is btc. ;D

The truth is that bitcoin wants to go up, but Roger Ver and his friends are constantly spamming the network and this is what makes the price go to the roof, and of course, the fees are insanely high.

Bitcoin has 2 directions either to rise or to move upward and take the long trajectory to the moon  ;)

The upward movement has started and it seems that we would be seeing some 16k price during the new Year. The fall seems to be over and correction which was suppose to take place is now done. So possible that it can stabilized at this level and move slowly upwards and from 2018 the upwards movement might start back again.

It seems that it want to start rising again, but the real problem is that no one knows what is really happening with the price right now, it is so quiet, and it goes up, it will take a few minutes or even hours and it will start going down again, it is pretty unstable at the moment.

No, there's no upward movement whatsoever. What we're seeing now is called fluctuation, the price has been going up and down like it always does. There's only been a 4% increase in the price over the last 24h, that's hardly an upward movement.

And I'm glad we're seeing such minimal increases, rather than a sudden spike in the price. For me, a gradual increase would mean that Bitcoin is having a healthy recovery after the correction.

It seems that it still want to go up, and maybe that is the best thing that it could do. I am waiting until it touches $20k again so i can sell all my bitcoins, so i can buy again on the DIP, lmao, i am just very anxius.

I think it will not be easy because I notice the end of this bitcoin price is just up and down but not too high just in the range of 12.000USD to 14.000USD and this is a low number after the bitcoin price yesterday reached 19.000USD. so I think if bitcoin wants to start stepping they should be able to get back at the highest price.

It wasn't $19000 by yesterday, that price was on Monday when it touched the all time high, more than five days ago, even six.

And the price has been much more lower than $13000, have you been in holidays? It seems that you are a little bit outdated about what is really happening on the market at the moment.

I think that bitcoin will be stable, at least for this week, just remember that we are on holidays and there isn't much volume on the exchanges.

TBH, $14K is still not a cheap price.
Not surprised if BTC falls back to $10K in the coming days and form some strong support around that area before bouncing off again.

Bitstamp and Bitfinex prices are close together... this is a good sign of stability.
Upwards push will hopefully get us back to 15k soon and hopefully keep us on a nice steady slow rise.

Looking at the past I would expect another possible drop to 10k before full recovery. However we cannot predict Bitcoin :)

currently we are in the holiday season and that may take out a lot of volume out of the market and that works both ways for going either up or down. so i guess we may continue seeing the same thing that happened over past week to happen for a longer time. possibly even until the end of the year and then in a month we can see a new ATH and the bull market restart.

I'll wait for the 50/200 DMA crossover to resolve itself first

I do not think that has started. I think will go down a little more. We will only see the price hit 20k in the middle of January. Need way more volume than that has today. The only way it will be if alts crash again.

I see the triangle pattern in the stock market, as well as relatively low volumes (which makes sense, given the holidays).

I actually believed that there would be a breakout, and so decided to allocate more funds at mid 14ks, because I thought this could be a solid breakout.

Obviously, I don't know if it's a fake or not. We'll see. I just like the trend that I am seeing, along with intuition.

Not yet for me, the start of the upward movement of bitcoin if it reaches its last high achieved price in the previous days which is 19,000 US dollar. Although we are moving in the positive end because the Bitcoin is been consistent although it is not rising high yet well at least it has not come down as compared to it price down in the last days.

I can see bitcoin price has started to pump again I think this year will close with the next big thing in the history of bitcoin appreciation, The last time I check bitcoin value reach $15500 from almost reaching $10000 last few days ago, I think bitcoin is now ready hit again. I'm glad I keep on trusting and believing in bitcoin I pray that 2018 will start with a good price for all crypto holders.

That is what usually happens after a huge correction, it is always followed by uncertainty and traders will be waiting for a clear signal to get back in. For now, we may just be seeing traders who are just shorting which are even very risky at the moment.

What we will see now is going to be some swift few percentage increases and decrease for some days until we see a clear winner and a better signal to get back in, but for now, we should still expect the uncertainty and doubt.

20K? You mean only when price breaks the previous all-time high that you will believe the upward move has started? Don't you think it may be a little bit too late?

Maybe a new ATH is on the way, just check out how price performs.

As one of the BTC holders, I can't agree with you more.

I really do not know how long they will have to keep doing that anyway. The fees have even dropped a little bit now and one thing I am sure of is that Roger Ver will not last with the way he is going and he would still end up regretting most of his actions or maybe his followers will. For now, if he ends up dumping all he has, it is only left for the bulls not to give him the chance to get back more at a lower price.

I am not sure the bulls will be fighting back hugely for now. The uncertainty will still have to die down a little bit before we start seeing the bulls stepping in, but I would not want to be in a quick rush to enter into the market, as there could still be some bearish moves more. However, no one knows but for now I am sure we will be seeing sideways and nothing much until we see a clear breakout which I am personally looking out for anyway.

If I am to speculate about it, price will have to spike back to that huge price ever in history at $20K and hopefully the bearish market will suppress. After that price will be reach next year, there would be a possibility of quick crash but eventually recover back again. Normally we can see the current progress and changes will always be a surprise as bitcoin fluctuates in an unpredictable situations.

It has indeed moved, I think it is already time to cash out of altcoins like DOGE which has grown exponentially the past days due to artificial pumps, but likely those people that pumped it will cash out once they see that bitcoins are going up tremendously.

Yes the upward growth or what we call recovery has started and the prices are again rising from $12000 to $14600 in just two days which is enough and now as we are heading to new year the predictions not much exaggerated says it to be around $40k by end of 2018 and then price to the moon and some are still trying to manipulate its prices by creating pump and dump situations behind the curtains but nothing can stop it growth so just hold your coins and dont get panic by price dips.,

Everyone loves the long trajectory to the moon and one would not like to see their investment increasing in profit anyways. However, we may just see the sideways directional movement for now and no one can say who is going to win after this directional movement. It could be the bears that would still do their thing or maybe the bulls will win back the fight, but we get to see in some days ahead of us.

Over the past two days the price seems to be moving forward reaching a value above $16000. This will continue to grow taking the price reach $20000 before the year end which has been predicted before months. In between die to some issues the growth got declined and now once again it will reach new ath.

Bitcoin is pumping now and hopefully to reach 20k before the year end and go even higher in the first week of january. This is the reason why bitcoin is still the king because of the bounce back after every dump. Hold, and enjoy the trend now money will come.

Bitcoin price are keep on climbing even in a little, but at leastbit shows recovery from falling in fast days. Although $19k is far to get back with in this year but it significantly shows it will go that way. No definite time to tell when, but still believing bitcoin will go higher than that. 2018 is another year of bitcoin and I feel bitcoin will surge again.

You should really stop paying attention to the triangle patterns and all the other bullshit that the analyst are trying to predict right now, you need to understand that bitcoin is unpredictable.


The price is going up, if you bought at that price, you are in a profit of aproximately a 18% right now, it was a big deal.


I wasn't able to invest in the lowest point that it touched, anyway, i am happy with my investment.

We are still in a bull run, the Christmas correction was nothing to worry about, I predict new ath before the new eve ;)

Bitcoin is back, recover to $16,000 right now and altcoins price seems declining atm. How high will it reach? No one knows about that.
Since bitcoin facing the old scale problem, the price can't stand at higher point and tend to lose its value after reach another milestone at $20K a week ago. Normally, bitcoin price will always increase over time, but people don't want to pay high fees and waiting a longer time for their transactions to be confirmed which cause bitcoin's utility appeal slowly fade away.

What do you think the motivation level and news that Roger and co are trying to manipulate and spam the network ,when there are more users in the bitcoin system you think the transaction delay is caused by spam and that too when the price of bitcoin is way too high,wait for the lightening network to be active and accept the flaws rather than blaming others.

To be honest, I have never believed in the data provided by technical analysis, because the inefficiency of that pseudoscience has been proven again and again to predict with certainty the future behavior of the markets. However, I do believe that bitcoin is about to resume its great uptrend after the Christmas break, and I still have hope that the year will end above $20,000.

I believe that $12.5K is the ABSOLUTE floor. Good luck!

Go go go BTC, now it is 16.3K!!

After the costy Christmas, people may have more motivation to earn their expenses from cryptocurrency market, especially BTC.

Yes your right, now the price or value is $16+k and i think they continue to rise when this year 2018 comes. So this is the time to wait and hold our bitcoin because i'm sure they get more profit from it.

That's why a lot of people got opportunity to invest more so we need to expect that bitcoin will reach $25k before 2017 ends .

I hope it is going to hit 20k! You can take the forked coins and reinvest or sell for alts which have a big upside now.

Reaching $12.5k is a good opportunity to buy bitcoin that is the good time to hold and invest,many bitcoiners waiting that big dump because that is time to buy cheap bitcoin,we cannot predict that bitcoin can reach $25k because it is depends on the market supply,but bitcoin now is continue rising we all hoping that many investors will attract bitcoin because it is a big help that makes the price high increase.
