Although the price has dropped, I'm thinking XVG may be the coin of this year. It has become fairly well known, the anonymity and security aspects of it are very attractive and I think it still has a lot of room to grow. So my money is on XVG for now.

Every time on of these threads pop up i always say the same. Zencash. Im not gonna sit here and preach to you why this coin will be the rocket next year but you should really do your own research if you dont want to miss out. :) Best coin to mine ATM aswell.

I think AION is good altcoin to invest in coming years, testnet will launched on January 2018 and will growing up again after mainnet realease.

my predictions of good altcoin for 2018 are XVG and STU, because I see from the price development charts that occur on XVG and STU all show that both prices will rise in 2018.

Important not to just buy whatever you come across (or is hyped, or is recommended to you). Important to do your own research and have a strong reason to buy, and a stronger reason to sell.

i have to go with xby the have started there 3th testnet and are going throught al te correct fases of development. they give regular updates and i have high hopes for that one.

I rely on this two coins ptoy and reddcoin, as I've trusted this to give me profit in return after my patience in holding. Although I've invested also other altcoins which is a huge dump at this time. Hoping also that it will creat a good market value someday.

 Deeponion maybe the best choice, deeponion release at 2017.8, but the community of deeponion is the best i have ever seem. Deeponion have a great potential of growth.

I recommend selling some of the altcoin, Internet of things concepts, smart contract concepts, and application concepts of altcoin, which may easily have a bigger gain.

For me its ETH and LTC. I think there's more from these two.

I still choose eth and xmr as best altcoin, but for 2018, trading activity I'll use eth but for invest just use xmr. Those coin has great price action & volume at 2017 and I believe will still going for 2018. For ICO, I choose like ADX and KICK will survive than others, even this moment has low price and volume. Its just hit $16 dollars a little while ago. With the air drops you can earn more than any Faucets. Also im holding on to Dogecoin because i think it has a good future, maybe not 2018 but a couple of years down the line!!!!!. Have a lot of altcoins that have good future in 2018 but I can tell u some that have low price right now like: Syscoin, Ark also Stratis Waves these coins are under of their value right now.

In my opinion Stratis can be the best investment in 2018. Stratis is not coin but an end-to-end blockchain development platform. It is seen a direct competitor to Ethereum and opens up a world of possibilities for developers. I think WTC has the best potential because of it's mining capability and the combination of three different proof systems it solves a lot of problems fortour operators.

That combination might make WTC totally mess up, no main system will make WTC more weak than other altcoins. Dev need to solve this hard problem to make WTC more popular in 2018.

2018 will be very efficient for ethereum it seems. I also expect Litecoin, Monero and NEM to make price fluctuations, by reaching up their all time high prices at the end, note this saying please.

my best altcoin prediction is POWR

Without a doubt the best altcoin in 2018 with be Ethereum Blue. It will be used to verify and audit every other token on the market and provide code security. It is small and not well known with tons of opportunities. Other more high profile projects don't have as much growth potential. Of course the real best altcoin is probably yet to be invented!

I'm voting for ICON and ETH, the too blockchains and coins that will definitely get a huge market cap during this year. And if ETH is already fighting for the 1st place, ICON is only starting its joney up to the top 10 coins. And its market cap is still too low as for such good project.

My price prediction is for ETH..ETH will reach $6,000 or higher this year...

My bet is on CND, MNX, both have a great service and great platform, MNX supply is low so I think it will be on the top 20 before the end of the year. Not mentioning that the goal price of their coin is 56k$ per piece. Collective intelligence is no joke, because it can predict the prices (not literally predict, but has a good outcome because of the collective majority of people on what coin they will hold.

I wonder why there are some scam accusations on the DEEPONION, its campaign is running for almost  half a year right?

To be honest, the best coin for me is bitcoin and for alternative coins is the Ethereum and ripple.
