Is it safe to buy on localbitcoin and transfer it over to bitterex? No harm in that! This way your bitcoins will be added to your bittrex account. You can also use other exchanges as well. However, it is recommended that you use your own wallet while buying from localbitcoins platform. Just to be on the safer side.
