Did Ethereum reach it's peak? Would it drop tomorrow, or would it continue to rise?

Should I keep holding, or should I cash out?

To be frank eth is the real big think, if you are a long term holder, it will keep growing just holder, but on its way up there will certainly be many many corrections and dips, so if you are a short term trader then you can sell high buy low but that strategy can be risky as i have seen people buying even at expensive price.

I think that, generally speaking, we're at the beginning of cryptocoin-age, so there is a lot of space for ETH to further grow. Of course other platforms like NEO have more space, so it depends on your purposes

First of all, keep calm. You should never worry about ether.

Second, how many percent of your portfolio is ethereum? If it is more than %50 of your main portfolio then you can decrease the amount and try to buy some cheap alt coins that has potential to multiply.

Im tracking ethereum's price in coinmarketcap and I believe it reached new peak again. You should hold, it will continue rising in next few days.

Who knows about tomorrow but in terms of longer term then almost certainly not, 1k won't take too long and then ethereum can push on. Many people believe strongly in ethereum and see it potentially one day overtaking bitcoin.

From the past two days ethereum shows the stable bumps in the chart from the time it started bump this time. As present I expect the bitcoin and ethereum to stable in the market some months sincd I have invest on it.
Holding fund on ethereum would be right choice for the altcoin investors who have made the fund on it.

ETH is a long term coin, is safer than BTC and has a great prospect, believe me, it will be the first cryptocurrency massively used by corporations

When you look how much time did take btc to go up and how long did it take to be what is it today, so I personally think ETH will definitely go up more thank it's today. :)

It's just starting for ETH. Those people just start BTC they must interested in ETH for big MARKET CAP. Tough XRP hold 2 Market cap , can't be maintain 2nd position for long time. So I think ETH must reach more higher in 2018

Ethereum will never reach its peak, I am certain of it. The price increase may slow down. For as long as long as you have hundreds of ICOs that come out daily which are Ethereum based it will continue to grow. So my advice (not a financial one, just friendly one) would be to HODL  8)

Let alone peak, I believe it is still very undervalued coin. It is still a long way to go. This year Ethereum will be a very high prospect coin.

Ethereum is growing steadily. Just keep holding on to this second best cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. There might be some corrections now and then, but the price will keep rising. Especially in 2018, the year of the altcoins.

All coins have peaks and troughs. Some peaks will be beaten in future with the good coins while the poor ones will not recover from their trough. Ether should continue to peak.

I think it didn't reach its peak yet. It is just how ether behaves at certain levels. Just remember how long it struggled around 400usd-500usd band and then rapidly gain the value. It is expected to do the same around 1K level.

I think it not a limit if not urgently they are necessary to you, let will remain on at you, I on your place would wait several months, and then already to sell for now you don't hurry

Ether is far from reaching it peak as far as it's market price is concern. If you are a long term holder, you shouldn't be too excited about this prices because there will still be better price increase in few months from now and we can start expecting ether price in thousands of Dollars.

The ETH markets have been driven by ICO's we all know this. Is this level sustainable? Possibly but many of the ICO's that started long ago should soon be delivering there promises to investors so we wait to see if the ICO bubble in ETH is set to crash or if the new funding methods really have merit.

I guess it will drop a bit in next few days after gaining more than 20% in less than a day.
But in long term, it will pass $1000 for sure. ICO project are creating great demand for ETH.

I think ETH will be stable at the price of $ 800 or the highest $ 1100, and will not be more than that. unless the volume and spreadingnya increase. so you better buy at the price of $ 800 and sell at the maximum price.

Ethereum is the seccond Bitcoin, where Bitocin is stuck because of slow transactions, ethereum goes further. It depends on how long you will hold your ethereum.

Ethereum is a new generation coin. It's not just a coin but a complete platform for decentralised data, a sidechain for tokens, a host for dapp and the most essentially fuel for ICOs.

I bought it for $ 300, I'm not even going to sell, for me this is one of the most convenient coins,with good potential for growth

why? because ethereum has a big system of tokens and coins relaying on the blockchain it self meaning its value already have strong foundation and almost hard to break. once mining new coins is no longer available (this year) i expect the price will increase a lot because of the no new coins coming out into the market.

The reality is, its one of the few projects really being used as intended. Smart contracts exist and people create Dapps on it everyday. I am amazed at its growth. The biggest issue currently is transaction speed, which reflects directly on how much it is being used.

All of these projects are at the very beginning. In two years time we will see what ETH is really capable of. Just have to increase transaction speed, and get a few more quality projects on board.

For my opinion if not need money for your need just hold it i can see ethereum have good stability in the coinmarketcap, i thinkmthe prediction for ethereum price hit in the 3rd month of this year.

This is just begining for ETH. I think Ethereum market cap will pass even Bitcoin in 2018. In short term, it will be wavy. If you take some risk you might increase your Ethers.

This is just the beginning for ethereum. 2018 will be the year of it and it will reach all time high prices every month. Whales are accumulating ethereum at the moment and they're preparing for the giant pump in ethereum this year.

In the long run, the ethereal can reach high values, do not worry and, from time to time, you will see grow, but never leave more than 50% in an altcoin, divide your investments, for long and short term investments

This kind of question is the most common thing on where investors,holders,traders are always asking off and we do know this question has no definite answer because we do know that this cryptocurrency market is really  volatile and very unpredictable which means theres no possible peak on a certain coin as long it has being adopted or being used. Potential increase or new ATHs would really be experienced or be seen. Prices do moves on 2 ways but we cant really able to guess or predict on what would be its peak price.

It will never reach it's peak if we haven't celebrated the incoming year 2023 :) Total market cap grows day by day and ETH has a big portion from this market. I think price will gradually increase.

Nah, i do not think that it will keep going down. Just remember that ethereum has been the only altcoin who is on the top five - seven that hasn't increased by more than 30 times during the last year.

The last time Ethereum went over 0.060 BTC, that was in November, it fell all the way down to 0.025 BTC. In other words itlost more than half its value compared to Bitcoin. If this is the new start of a strong Bitcoin rally then it would be best to sell your Ethereum now. But you can't really look into the future, can you?

It's still under estimated, Ethereum even still doesn't implement pos system and the maximum supply still not have reached by the way. It may go to the moon after the limit supply will have determined.
That means there is a lot of mass potentially to grow in the future.

The ethereum will still grow and grow. The current price for it is far from the peak of the cost. As long as the ICO is conducted, the etherium will just grow! Actually never say 'never' because nobody knows the future. One fine day whole ethereum network might get hacked by a powerful super computer don't laugh, think about it in that perspective.

Ethereum is like bitcoin, we can not define when its price will be peak. But i am sure it is not now. Its price will be grow to 1000 dollars in near future and probably higher later

It is nowhere near its peak. Smart contracts will be huge in the future, I'm sure. And at least one smart contract platform will be a massive success - quite possibly more than one as well. At the moment Eth seems by far the most likely to succeed. I am holding my Eth with no plans to sell for the next few years, apart from a bit of trading here and there.
Short-term as well Eth looks good, it is currently around its ATH - with plenty of room to expand. There is no real psychological barrier now that it has been displaced as number 2 in cap - a good push could move it back above Ripple.

It's unpredictable to say that ethereum has already reach it's peak even other coins can't be predicted because no one can predict it but I think all crypto currencies are still on the process of price fluctuations so their value is not stable and will continue to change from time to time. I think we will expect so many pump and dump this 2018.

ETH will never reach its peak in the following years because it's a constant growing cryptocurrency in a constant growing technology in a constant growing world. Even not half the population don't know what is cryptocurrency, and those who know only know bitcoin for most of them. So imagine the boom that will occure when people will be aware of all the coins that are already existing and all the projects currently growing.

I think it's still at a low point, because ETH is still the pioneer of smart contracts, but 2018 is still the year that smart contract tokens explode.

In my opinion, you can still hold for a long time, and in 2018 ETH will reach at least $2000, and the current value is still far undervalued.

Ethereum is looking at a bullish last few weeks with new peaks being hit very often. With Bitcoin hanging around 15k after its corrections, there's literally nothing standing in the way of Ethereum from reaching the four figure mark. I have always believed that ETH will go big in the coming years and it is always looking evident as prices continue to peak.

Have you ever heard about new crypto that will kill ether? Wait, soon, ether will not remain as major one for ico.

Eth has not peaked but it is a slow riser. For faster gains go for a newer coin such as NEO. There are new ICOs being released on their blockchain meaning more demand for NEO. Look at the charts and see it rising while others are in the red

No, all of the cryptocurrencies do not have a peak value. Their values will continue to increase or they will continue to decrease. The whales have the control on the price of any cryptocurrency. So, it is up to them if they will dump the value of Ethereum or if they will pump its value. Whales do not want to lose money so they will do whatever they can to have more money. Therefore, my suggestion is that you should hold your Ethereum.

Ethereum is one of those coins that is very stable. This being said, i think that you should keep holding it, due to the fact that in the long run it will probably just keep slowly rising, and who knows what price it can reach in 2018...

There will always be a fall but I dont think it is now.
I saw it when it was still at $300 and doubled in just a manner of time. This could be not enough to level with other coins.
Might as well get more than selling. I regret the time when I panic although I already have profit that time. But it is always good to have more.

Well, i'm not one who decided from you're own risk it's you're decision dude, if you really need money then cash out then if not just hold because ethereum now is the second placer of bitcoin. I f you remember last few months or last year ethereum price was almost overtake the price of bitcoin, so i think ethereum is the big thing and have a big potential in cryptocurrency.
So therefore i strongly recommend at you that much better to hold than to cash and spend, nowadays this altcoin who follow the step of bitcoin someday.

Ethereum will keep rise as long as there are smart contracts developed based on theyre blockchain. We can still see a lot of projects developed based on this blockchain but also a increasing number of stand alone projects. It is still a project that apeals with investors and i dont believe we have seen the moon with it. It has potential of 5000 $ in the next two years but this only depends on it`s developers if they keep improving it.
With eth it is a safe investment but i dont see a interesting movement in the next short future.

I agree with this completely. There is no end in sight for a workable project like ETH that have gone beyond the expectation of many and was able to survive this long in the crypto world. So far the crypto world is still existing, then ETH potentials is still bright. A lot of ICO tokens still relies on it while a lot more are still going to be released. This is what ensure the continued popularity of ETH but that does not exclude the normal ups and down that is common in the crypto world because that is one thing that give solid base to any coin.

I dont think there are limits to Ethereum, its a coin that has no limits since its the 2nd to Bitcoin and most ICOs use its tech to be developed.

It still can get further,no one knows what will happen to ethereum but im sure in the future it will go near BTC.

For me 1200~1500 is still an acceptable range for Ethereum to grow consider it's usability and the fact that Ethereum is going to hybrid/POS system soon or enough, still it's movement these days surprises me as well and i have sold some of mine too to secure profits, but still i'm not too optimistic with Ethereum are blockchain service, hosting network are getting common among on new coins like expanse, ubiq, many of them serve similar purposes (generally) and thus it's fact that Ethereum are competing.
