Title: MtGox blocked IP Post by: timbulko on July 07, 2011, 05:31:35 PM I have registered to MtGox and sent them some money via LR. But now when I try to sign in it is written "Your IP has been blocked because of too many failed login attempts." But I had signed in only once before I sent them money so which "many failed attemps" do they mean? Is MtGox a scam? I use Tor as a proxy with JS and Java disabled and antivirus with latest updates. I do as much as possible to secure everything. Can you help me with this?

They have however for security reasons blocked Tor (that's where the failed login attemps come from in large volumes). Use a different service or logon directly. I am afraid of the man in the middle attacks so I don't want to use banking services directly. Thank you.
