Happy Birthday, it's been 9 years for Bitcoin already? Damn, and I haven't been around for even half of how long it has existed. Well, not on the forum at least anyway. Probably just under half of the time it's been around since I actually got involved in its entirety.

Well, closing in on 10 years since 2008, 9 years since Bitcoin was released, hopefully, many more to come. Ideally another 131 years until we reach a point where almost every single Bitcoin has been mined in its entirety. Good luck to the community and everyone involved with Bitcoin, since it's going to be a long ride for most of us.

yes, I am with bitcoin and from this bitcoin I am also a lot of millionaire members in my country, hopefully this will be long, 9 years is pretty much changing the economy of many people

I did not expect the bitcoin to last so far. and this proves to the world that bitcoin is the best among the other currencies.

In such a short short time frame big change has happened around the globe. In particular the change that took place with technology is very big and the same has created path for a growth through bitcoin and for the existence of lots of altcoins on a varied platform form such as the ethereum smart contract, neo based  and other available platforms.

I remember when I started with bitcoin it wasn't as near popular as now and people who were using it were enthusiasts. Back then no one didn't believe bitcoin will make such success. Today the situation is completeley different and the number of users is rising with each day. Hope this first 9 years are just the begining.

Awesome! This is also a great time to remind everyone that Bitcoin is still young, and has only really started getting mainstream attention. It has always had a scalability problem, but it has never manifested until very recently -- the fact that Bitcoin is getting more transactions than it can handle, when it has never had this problem, is a sure sign of growth. The demand is starting to get here, and we know the technology can keep up for sure.

with Bitcoins 9 years ago, but they are not over. This transition period
will last for years more, there are older generations that refusing to
go with time and they stick with their traditional values.
   People do not understand what is Bitcoin, it is hard to explain them
what is Ethereum, Waves and other platforms, people are not ready for
that.

Well, i didn't about that anyway thanks for reminding me  :D. I am really happy that God has blessed me with the sound knowledge and he has made me a part of this nice community which is been my helping hand at every stage of hard situations. Bitcoin in this 9 years has been solving mine's many life problems and financial problems which I was unable to do it. It's a celebration time for everyone in this forum and so I thank you, everyone, for being a part of this kind community and forum for a long time.

Bitcoin is still young in the economic perspective. It still needs room to grow. We know over the past year Bitcoin is in the consolidation mode, and then in the late of 2017, it's start to break the consolidation and starting to form the first stage of a big movement. I'm sure with the age of Bitcoin is 9 years old, in 2018 the market will be a lot more interesting. Let's see hows the market react after it starts the first stage of a big movement.

Bitcoin is too young but this cryptocurrency has really provided a lot for us people and we should be always thankful and grateful for this. One thing that we should always appreicate is how high and how far we have been from where we first started

Yes and i would like to say "What's been up?" to some who said that bitcoin is a big fraud and ponzi scheme. I wonder how and what they are doing today. Is it some of them already turned their back and a big bitcoin investor already?

It is also difficult for Bitcoin to be defeated in time as people are now turning into an investment vehicle.

Just as concepts such as gold, real estate, stocks have long been the means of investment in our lives, bitcoin is at the moment as their non-stable version of the risk-earnings ratio. Also, since BitCoin is the pioneer and comes with a technology infrastructure like blockchain, it will always be in the top row unless the technology is given up. Crypto is also strengthening its position in the money markets because of the increasing technological infrastructure and daily life solutions.

It has been a wild ride so far, with all the drama. I have not seen as much drama, since the TV Series, Dallas in the 70's. < I am giving my age away here > ^smile^

The Plot is basically the same. One family {Bitcoin community}, broken into groups and siblings fighting for dominance. These people are using dirty tactics to gain the upper hand. Bitcoin <BTC> is alleged to have used censorship and the other group <BCash> used people with money <Roger Ver> to misrepresent and shill for BCash.

It has been a joy, watching this Soap Opera for the last 9 years!

Just imagine if we joined the crypto community 9 years ago, I would have bought my country by now! But still I am thankful that I have joined this during its early stage.

Nine years is such a short time.  I have been active off and on for around six of those years.

Things that I will always associate with Bitcoin.  Whitepapers, blockchain, cryptocurrency oh my! Without Bitcoin these words would mean nothing to me.  Silk Road, That phrase would have reminded me of history class and men like Marco Polo.  Not anymore. 

The birth of Bitcoin was a seminal moment for cryptocurrency.

I am grateful to the creators, progenitors the communities and hopeful that talented men and woman will contribute to the Blockchain as advocates of Bitcoins core values.  Giving power back to the people.

I still remember the time when I first came to know about Bitcoin, about 2 & a half years ago when its price was around $300 or something. And I was both, shocked and regretful at the same time. Shocked to see the price of it, and regretful for not being aware of it before that. And it has been 2 years now, the price has touched the sky already, coming down to earth again now (jokingly ;D), and I still have that regret for not knowing Bitcoin from the start. But, though I'm not one of the early birds, it still changed my life, and many others' as well. So i'm really grateful to it and its creators.
It has really been a great journey with Bitcoin so far, and hopefully my beautiful journey with Bitcoin will continue for many more years ahead.

2018, Bitcoin just turned 9 years. 9 years ago, I began my university life as a freshman. At that time, I heared of Bitcoin at a social networking site called renrenwang in China, but I and my friend all didn't realized what bitcoin meaned. you know, the price of bitcoin was 1 yuan at that time. Nowadays, when I look the bitcoin price, truthly, I was very annoyed. With the various ideal coins constantly emerging, I want to catch this chance, even if I have no bitcoin, I will keep some other ideal coins so that I can get a big deal !

9 years has fast then I realized that I enter this crypto world for only 2 months I hope it's not too late for me I'm hoping that can achieve my goals in life by the help of bitcoin for now I want to explore more and to gain more knowledge about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies.

The modern world is very fleeting. For the history of 9 years is nothing. But bitcoin for 9 years, changed the world. This is probably the most significant invention in this century. I am sure that if people knew who Satoshi Nakamoto that he would be awarded the Nobel prize. But it seems to me that people are not yet ready to make effective use of such global technologies.
