How do you loss you Bitcoin while investing altcoin?
I want to get more bitcoin, so i use some of my bitcoin buy altcoin. but i always make wrong decison.
I hope you guys can give me some pieces of advise.

There is a simple solution.

1) Stop buying shitcoins.
2) Hold your bitcoins.

If you keep on losing money it's clear you're naive and buy all that hyped stuff right after the pumps and end up with dumped coins.
Trading is not for you so stick with the safe way of hodling BTC

What strategy you do when trading? You will surely lose if you trade or invested on a coin that has already pumped, you should know the basic strategies on trading like buy on dips and sell on peaks if you want to gain more Bitcoin by trading it to altcoins. Also look/search for altcoins that has good potential and avoid those useless coin. But if you still struggle to earn in trading cryptocurrencies using different kinds of strategies, then why not just buy more Bitcoin when the price is low and hold it until it reach a certain amount or your target profit.

Best thing is to hold some bitcoins and part of the bitcoin you can invest on alternative coins . do not invest all the bitcoin amount on alt coin.First choose the best Alt coins by studying there previous pattern. It depends some altcoins may perform good and some may not because now a days there are lot of altcoins , need to choose the best one and you can hold it or if you are expert you can do the trading as well.

i think thats the same with any investment...

If you invest in altcoin during this time, the increase in bitcoin exceeds altcoin, then you invest in altcoin less than the investment in BTC, so this investment is a failure.

One thing I am thinking that one would loss his bitcoins is through the higher fees. There were even times that the fee is higher than the transferred amount which I really find absurd. Hope they can do something about those higher fees so that everyone are happy.

When Bitcoin is on a bullish run, almost all altcoins take a hit no matter how big or small. That is how the altcoin market has been trending for many years now and looks to continue in a similar manner.

any investment has risks that can lead to money loss. when you are investing in something that is easily manipulated and has no real future apart from being used in speculation alone, you are taking even bigger risks and have a high chance of losing money when it all comes down on your head.

if you can't accept or figure out these risks you shouldn't be investing in the altcoins at all. but if you know the risks and know how altcoin pump and dumps work you can manage them better.

When you invest avoid going flat out on an altcoin you have not done your research on as there is no guarantee that some of these coins will have a return(ROI)

if in my opinion you have to do statistical calculations and see the altcoin fructation and how much potential will be developed and what percentage of shares that you will get

When investing in an altcoin ALWAYS check first all the information you can find about the project: team, roadmap, whitepaper, forums etc.

After that, check the graphs regarding the token price for the last 1-3-6 months. Did the token already have a recent pump and dump? If yes, then most probably you won't beneficiate very soon of another important pump, only if the project is really exceptional.

Also, when a project is near to be listed on a new important Exchange and/or a new milestone is getting close, the price usually increases.

Wrong decision can only mean that you are panic seller and you sell every time you see price goes down, so learn to control emotions and don't be panic seller, when you buy altcoin you should expect price to go down and up, just don't sell it when you see it goes down, it will recover.

Don't decide with your emotions. Sometimes you get so excited / worried when the coin you invested in is moving. Better stay calm and read what are the updates regarding your coin so you can analyze where will it go. And don't put all your bitcoin into altcoins Because bitcoin is always the best.

Pretty simple answer. And, I agree. I think you need to check on carefully with your investments. You should study your investments and trades very well before you go on them. Everything that is priced low should be bought, and not because it gained good value, it's also good to invest in. You should also check the trends and changes that made it so. By following it, then you can be sure to choose the better investments to make. In the cryptocurrency market, everything can change in a glance, and it would be better to study your every move than just being trigger happy with it.

My major loss was $6K as I had my investment if XRP when it was around $0.17 but since for medical emergency, I had to sell my holdings and today the same investment could have been valued at $6K+. However, I am still proud of my decision because I didn't have any liquid funds at that time and the medical emergency was a top priority and hence, my investment helped me to pay for the medical bills. This is less about investing in Altcoin and more about withdrawing much before the rally.

There are two ways you might get involved yourself in to such issues

1. Investing your bitcoins into scam ICO and the developers runway with your bitcoins e.g. Confido
2. Buying altcoin at higher price and later the price drops next to nothing e.g. STOX  (Some guys bought it at $2.5 and currently selling at $0.5)

Let's check the news from those altcoins that u wanna invest on. It takes more time but it solves major question of desicion to join that shitcoin or not.

Try ICOs, look deeply into which have hype around them, have a BTC core position you can monitor coinmarketcap more specifically BTC's dominance and try and match or be a bit higher, the rest spread out to ETH and NEO 70/30 now start looking for those ICOs that will have quick tranferability and sure listings in the near future, take some profits if you believe in a core position leave some of those tokens there, keep building your BTC postion and repeat... Also we might be close to another BTC rally so make sure to plan accordingly.

You are not alone. I also lost a lot of bitcoins by investing in altcoyin. I can only say that we need to act deliberately. Read the literature on trading on the exchange

To gain a profit in bitcoin, you have to research and find altcoin that is undervalued. When the altcoin rise faster than bitcoin, you make a profit. Don’t rush into investing, always research and think about the business model.

So far i did not lose any investments in bitcoin. Money is very valuable to me so i take care of my investments. I do research and take a lot of precautions. I hope you would also do so.

The thing with Alt coins is the Market Cap. The smaller the Market Cap, the easier it is for speculators to manipulate it. Some of the Crypto Whales will quickly pump a Alt coin to trigger a buying frenzy and then once the price is high, they will dump it. You will not be able to determine which coin these whales are going to chose, so it is all based on luck and timing.

This is one of the reason that Alt coin buying lose money.

To make sure you wont loose your bitcoin, always check the potential of the coins that your going to buy . Dont buy on high peaks , buy when its low . If you want to buy during ico, be really wise, check its legitimacy,potential and the developers, also the supply of the coins is also important. But if I were you it would be better if youll just buy bitcoin or trade it rather than buying some altcoins . Just understand and learn the best strategies when to buy and when to sell.

Put some bitcoins in the best. Invest in other options for Bitcoin options. Do not invest all your bitcoins on Altcoin. Select the best Altcoins. Some altcoins do well like some altcoin again. You can hold if you want. Especially if you are an expert you can make trading as well.

maybe you are not in a good condition to buy Altcoins, like there is FUD, Bad News or even coin is delisted from the exchange so that makes the coin its price fall.

You may also be greedy in the trade, as you've gained 5% but wait until it rises 10% again but then the coin in fact it goes down and you experience an estimated decrease of up to 15% (-)

you should learn about technical analysis, using tools on tradingview, learn to recognize the trend of money flow to where and follow it. This is not easy, if not good, then the holder trader

You will lose Bitcoin if the price of the BTC goes down on a seasonal basis. You have to agree with the idea that this is necessary to find low-priced altcoin. As altcoin grows faster than bitcoin, you make a profit.

My suggestion is, try to make the best use of your profits to invest in altcoin, we all know that altcoin coins have a greater volatility relative to bitcoin, and if selling bitcoin to exchange altcoin is unwise.

buying potential altcoin if you feel bitcoin continue to bearish. If you dont moves any plan your bitcoin is still bitcoin you can wait until the price is pumping. But bitcoin is a more potential than the others of crypto.

there are many way you can lose bitcoin when you are trading. generally when you sell altcoin at the price lower than price you bought it then you will certainly lose part of your net amount. also when some of your altcoin you bought sudenly become less traded most time generally refers to shitcoin then you may lose your investment. also when you want to buy any coin try and do well your own research. so not invest in any altcoin which you know is subject around idea which will generally be not accepted after some time. invest in altcoin that provide update frequently and have good roadmap.
