I signed up... didn't get the email yet but I'll wait a bit more for that.

When I clicked on 50/50 I see this:


Can you tell me what all that means? I haven't even played a game yet.

Tried signing in with Twitter. It asked for an email address and then gave me an error message.

It says I can't log in.

When you click that link you have a 50/50 chance of winning. Means you lost 16 of the original 100 you came in with...if you click play again or click the link again you'll have another 50/50 chance of winning, 50/50 chance of losing.

Apparently we are experiencing server issues, which is why some of you were having troubles logging in and such. I will post back here when it has been resolved. Perhaps choosing godaddy as my hosting provider was not the best idea...Buyer beware!!

Yeah, the first time I entered the 50/50 game I was thrown for a loop.

I also "won" about 200 bit points playing 6 times in a row. I thought it was stuck on PAY or something.  Then I went back in and lost 50, 47, 35, 50 in a row.  F that game! lol.

It would be simpler if the winning/losing part was the same.  Say, each time you play, you are only risking X amount of points.

I'll look up and post the code I'm using. Anyone can feel free to edit it. I THINK there is a limit, but not sure.  :-\

Okay, next question. I withdrew $37 BBP which I thought should equal 0.037 however I've just received the transaction and it's only 0.0037.

Isn't $1 BBP 1/1000th of a BTC?

I believe that 1/1000th is 3 decimal places, not four.  So, 1 BBP should equal 0.001 BTC.

Now, did bitbetter not understand decimal places? :p

Correct, so $37 BBP should have been 0.037 BTC.

However, the withdrawal form asked me to enter a BTC amount, so maybe it was me that accidentally typed 0.0037 instead of 0.037.

Not sure because I can't log in at the moment to check.

Not that I care about getting the extra cents, just want to help make sure your site's working.

Waited 5 minutes, never got registration email.  This was going to be my first time bitgambling too :(

Never got my registration mail either, but I could log in anyways. (Still haven't gotten my confirmation e-mail...)

Site is very confusing, but I got my payout as requested.

I tried playing 50/50 (BEWARE! It plays the game simply if you click on it in the menu!!!!) and won 1 and lost 1 game.

I still have 19 BBP I would love to gamble with, but 50/50 won't let me play, says I need to have at least 50 Yen, and the Risk game just says my message is sent when I chose to play "now", and no game starts... ???

I am very confused by this site, but I got my BTC!

Edit: I now got my sign-up email, and an e-mail asking if I want to play Risk (I do!)

I still don't know how to accept the Risk game, but I hope it works eventually! :D

I agree, the site is confusing. The owner is taking a risk that you will not like it and leave, lol.

I think OP should wait with giving people free BTC, untill the site is fully functional, or he will risk losing out!

Indeed it is confusing, working on that though. Will be some time before everything is running perfectly. Good thing to get in now though, while its free!!

Now that we have some people signed up, things can run a little more smoothly. We need some people to become game hosts. This means you manage the buy-ins, can choose what games you want to host, even keep a percent of the buy-ins for hosting the game if you wish.

The games list on the site is just a suggestion, you can pretty much use our site to manage your buy-ins for any online game. Been waiting for days now, and no reply on the forum, even though I sent PM's days ago too, and I can see BitBetter has been online since many times.

There it's stated that it is server issues. I have been waiting for 5 days now though, seems to be very long, and not very much communication.

It was said earlier that it would be done by the end of the week. Now we are on day 2 in the following week, and still nothing...?

Too bad bitbetter doesn't give better status updates. Or any updates at all.

Luckily I only have a few cents there, but when I look at the top user list, there seem to be a few who made a lot and are now stuck with their money frozen.

Well at least there's some info.

You might consider being a bit more upfront about delays and problems, instead of waiting until your users begin to wonder and complain.

That can get out of control quickly, especially when frozen money is involved.

Have you received anything yet? It's been 3 days now since the announcement that it would take longer, but I already sent emails before that. Either my mails end up in junk or are simply being ignored. Seems like nobody checks their PM system either.

It took longer than promised as well, so maybe the reason is just that they are working on the site, while neglecting the payouts...
