I never used Hitbtc exchange site. But i need to use it because one of my coins doing good there  ;D But my elder brother told me hitbtc not safe totally , it stucked deposit money /Withdraw. What about now? is it safe now?

I often use hitbtc for exchange and very safe to date. maybe if there is a pending deposit / witdhraw that is reasonable and may take some time to fix. and I never feel harmed if using hitbtc for transactions.

The exchange of tokens via Hitbtc is safe and I often trade on Hitbtc. This is a good trading platform, but some altcoin has very little trading volume.

I recently joined the exchange and it has not been a very good experience. I only wish l had looked at the negative feedback on there Facebook page before sending a deposit. It has been two days now and my deposit is still not showing on the exchange, even though it was confirmed on the block chain within a few minutes. Support does not respond to you tickets and the site continually crashes.

of course I often do exchange here. and there are no obstacles in that.
some people say that it is not safe, but i proved myself it is safe.

I already tried trading using hitbtc as exchange site a couple of times and it went smooth and successful. But lately there are some reports about delayed withdrawal of bitcoin and ethereum to the said site and also there are some issue regarding that there is no Tx showing up which is very important for every transaction.

Hitbtc safe as far i am using from long time even i have exchanged lots of token and also after etherdelta i found hitbtc best place to trade token immidiately after ICO. Now they are having some issue with ethereum withdrawal issue may be thats what your brother concern about . Hope soon it will be fixed.

I often trade on hitbtc, the last week I had an eth withdrawal problem on hitbtc (tx not found) and I only sent 1x a complaint ticket. After 7 days my withdrawal was canceled and eth back again in my hitbtc account. So I guess for now the hitbtc is safe to use.

I have experienced similar things with you, and I think it is reasonable because the system error on the exchangers can affect for transactions. so I think HitBTc is safe for transactions.

I believe hitbtc is safe, maybe there's problem like delay but I think is solved now. It's normal about delay, crypto transactions rise everyday. But sometimes, people send the wrong product ( coin ) or address to accept their payment/ profit. As long you obey the rules and contact support when something wrong happen, your transactions will fix in short time.

No exchange is totally safe. But right now, HitBTC seems like one of the more reliable and safe websites. If you want the best safety I'd say go with Coinbase/Gemini, otherwise HitBTC is a good alternative that supports many altcoins.

To be honest i never have a problem on hitbtc exchange but i really hate the fee on the trading, if you trade with a bulk amount it's better to not trading in this exchange. Withdrawal and deposit are no problem for me but i saw many threads about hitbtc exchange scam, i don't is it right or not but just be careful.

I've been put off HitBTC by poor reviews and stories of stuck withdrawals and other account problems.  But I think all exchanges have problems and unhappy customers, they generally need to improve customer service and how they resolve issues.  Its been around along time and people seem to trust so time to give it a go.

Every exchnage is having pending deposits/withdraws problem from time to time. HitBTC maybe a little bit often than others.
But they are offering for trade some unique pairs and their ICO tab is very profitable if you do your homework.

Previously I felt comfortable trading at HITBTC, but after the incident that hit the AMM, I did not think to use that exchange again. Their support is very bad and what I regret is that they blame the people who were involved in AMM trading when the mistakes were caused by their own. Hope you not get any unpleasant treatment from them in the future.

Hi i use HITBTC for a while and i did not experience problem at all.
So for me it is safe to use HITBTC based on my experience, after all many ICO are still want to be listed there, so i am sure people still trust their platform

Their support is kind of slow, but in general HITbtc is rather trustworthy and a number of big projects pay them substantial amounts for getting listed.

Good to people from HitBtc are supporting but at the same time, you need to increase your support system in order to assist with people question, otherwise, people will complaining more negative about your exchange.

My #Siacoin deposits are not credited for March 21th.  I hate it when HitBTC does not fix there deposits close to a month.  Not very good or reputable exchange.  Stay away if you can.

there is no such thing as very safe for every exchange sites out there, a wise trader will always keep his/her coin through personal wallet, digital or hardware, if you don't need to trade soon better stay away on storing your coins through exchange sites.

We should really done on this way on where we should not entrust exchanges when it comes on storing up coins.If you do make active trades then it doesnt matter at all as long you do know how and when to pull out those funds.For now every exchange do have different issues into each users which some may experience some may not but i would say Hitbtc is somehow safe to use up but dont store up big amounts on any exchange.

I just transferred one of my coins from MEW to HitBtc and I was surprised how fast I got the coins transferred. So I think it is working perfectly fine now, at least on my end and I have not read any negative feedbacks lately about this exchange site so I'm guessing they have addressed the concerns of some traders already.

You are right i forgot to mention those who trade. For that case, in the past I double authentication keys like Google Athenticator. This is to make sure Im the only one using the account. Still we cant be sure as exchanges can still run with our money, so I stopped.

I think that this exchange has always been one of the safest options. I trade on this exchange for a long time, but problems and questions have not arisen.

yes hitbtc has poor customer support .
also many times they disable deposit or withdrawal , in that case you will be stucked with your coins .
it hurts when you transfer coins there to sell in pump , and when it stuck then you end up with huge loss , as price get already down when you receive coins .

during fake pump on hitbtc they locked funds of customers .

I have never experienced this kind of issue with HITBTC. It is an exchange I use frequently and it has been good. Having a problem with one transaction process being it a deposit or withdrawal doesn't render the exchange bad.

HITbtc have the many coins option the other exchange but I do not know why all the exchanges asking for identity verification. Like binance all the exchange do have to go with the verification policy to have the amount with out verification has been done mate.

Hitbtc is now a good place to trade your tokens. Unlike before when the site is experince a lot of complains about thier exchange, example is you will need  2 to 3 weeks until  your withrawal will be processed

If you do try to read up again you will see the word "I hope" which means hes not claiming anything but rather hoping for hit to make a similar step on creating a coin similar to the exchange being mentioned above which isnt really a bad idea but somehow hit doesnt have any word regarding to it.

Every exchange do have its own issues thats why as a trader or user we should be prepared on that one. Theres no safe exchange even on the popular or reputable ones.

Hitbtc is now  a safe exchange to trade in. Because of what happen the recent months where hitbtc encounter major problems on thier site i decided not to make a trade on that month, and waited for the site to back normal,just like today.

I am having difficulty trading on a stock exchange and a stock market that takes every coin. I do not recommend you to use it on the stock exchange.

yeah right , every kind of people do have different types of problems regarding on exchanges . They do always file an acusse even though that exchange is known to be legit.

in my opinion to make transactions on hitbtc safe, but still be wary if we keep the coins in excluding hitbtc too long, because I would advise that in doing the transaction enough to exchange the coins only. to ensure my own security has not received a reference that hitbtc safe or not, just there is news for the process has difficulty.

Is perfectly working now because I recently traded over there, so don't be afraid I can assure you full access wen depositing in hitbtc, although one of my best coin was listed there too so that was how I got traded over.

I never had any problems ever since I used the Hitbtc exchange site and I think their site is safe and good too. But I could have passed on some news about it being unsafe and all because last year there were a lot of exchanges that were having problems with their deposit and withdrawal.

There's a reason to be afraid trading on hitbtc and those are uncredited alts deposits aswell with floating withdrawals and you might find some scam accusations against them on that issue. But my personal experience is not actually scary about them since I never had any issue on them at all or maybe i just prefered to trade with them with small amount of money that's why I never encounter that issue.

things to safegaurd your token wen trading on hitbtc are:
1. use a very stronge password not less than 12 words
2. you email should have a notification keys.. i m before someone else will signin your account you email should give you response that someone is trying to login your account.
3. make sure you activate 2FA that means without your phone they can't signin you hitbtc account this makes it looks more secure and safe wen trading on that exchange.

Hitbtc are good now for your trading and I have been using hitbtc since March this year without much problems.  Investing into good coins should be our major concern as most of the exchange platforms are trust worthy and has proof to be reliable and hitbtc are one of the exchange we can actually depends on.

if I think hitbtc is very safe to transact, I never get the disappointment of transacting on hitbtc maybe that I complain is just a relatively large fee. if you are afraid, you can install authenticator on hitbtc. it is very important to install the authenticator because it will keep our account from all the things that are not desirable.

Should really be read up by those people who are too much confident with Hitbtc.I can say any exchange do have issues but we should look up on how severe it is. Its an inevitable thing for them to avoid and the thing i dont like with hit is the deposit fees which is somehow a greedy move for them to make and we cant easily see this stuff into other exchange and also even the top tier exchangers it doesnt mean its totally safe those are still prone to problems and the thing here is that we should store up huge amounts.

Hitbtc is most shady exchange because of its suddenly disable withdrawal and deposit without any blockchain issue or project issue . then you see pump or dump there . recently John Mccaffe accuse hitbtc for its policy and there was social media fight between hitbtc and Mccaffe .

Yes, according to my experience hitbtc is another good exchange where we can trade without any problem. Even withdrawals and deposits are very fast through from this exchange. Maintenance are sometime good to identify bugs in the exchanges.

HitBTC is the good exchange with the quick deposit and withdraw action. But the disadvantage of this exchange in my opinion that you can sell/buy the number of token which devide for 10 or 100. For example, if you have 190 token, but you can sell 100 and can not sell 90 token because only 100 devide equally for 100 and 90 is not. It means that you can sell the haft of your token.

Hitbtc got some serious issues recently and got on and off sometimes in the past month , Why they just can't upgrade their stuff when the site in online and they need to switch it off?

Maybe it is not on hitbtc. In the past it was quite normal on bitcoin network to get clogged due to numerous transactions. I don't have any issues when it comes to hitbtc withdrawals. Just that their fees are too high compared to other exchanges. Plus they don't have 8 digit cents on many coins which is ridiculous when their values are still high when converted into fiat.

Hitbtc is safe but it acts shady sometimes and has a lot of on and off, if you have a big amount of money which you really care about I suggest you use exchanges with better reputation, exchanges shouldn't be use as wallet and you only keep the amount of money that you want to trade with in them.

 there are many factors that affects the transaction , so better gather all informations before you create a concern here or to thier costumer support .

for me hitbtc is a not safe exchanger because I have a bad experience when the deposit is 1 XMR and never appears on my hitbtc account, after contacting their cutomer service many times I was told to wait until now there is no clarity. even though all the evidence is tx da. I have completed the chronology. to this day I will choose another exchanger if I have to make a sale and purchase rather than hitbtc

Hitbtc IS NOT SAFE.  Coins are taken offline for no reason and at a moments notice and never come back online.  They halt deposits and withdraws for no reason, no warning whatsoever and if that happens you're screwed.  They never respond to tickets, etc.  It's pretty obvious the positive reviews/comments are from employees of the company itself, just look at all the bad grammer, mispellings, etc.  Good luck either way.

I know this is an old thread, and I don't know whether you have ever traded or not on HITBTC. As far as I know HITBTC is a safe exchange, I have traded there and my friend has also traded on HITBTC and there has never been a negative case that happened to us. So, the HITBTC exchange is safe in my opinion.

Hitbtc is a safe exchange, i have been using it to trade now for a while and i have no complain about it. The transaction is fast and always smooth.

As per knowledge, i don't have any problems with the HitBtc exchange, still, i am trading many coins there on daily basis. For me, HitBtc exchange is very safe because most of the potential ICO coins will be listed in HitBtc exchange.

Hit btc is good exchange, ive  been trading on that  exchnage for a quite sometime and i did not encounter any problems in trading or in withdrawing my coins.

so far I have no problems with hitbtc, I feel safe with this exchange.
although some people say hitbtc has a lot of problems, I feel they are too quick to conclude and ignore the process of solving their problems.

Please update us if this is just an exchange glitch or they intentionally done this to you and what could be the reason why they blocked your account, they should have a valid reason for doing this thing, have you contacted support, if this continue, then you should open a scam accusation on HITBTC.

HitBTC doesn't have a good reputation, lots of people have trouble with it but i have always been ok. Trades without any issues, but i don't do it very often so it's hard for me to give proper judgement

I can not say this about this exchange, it has recently become unreliable, as there are many problems ranging from withdrawal to security issues, so I recommend not using it.

The exchange is not that secure I do receive an email almost every month that someone had gain access to my account on their exchange,  despite strong password,  and I detest their withdrawal fee it's just too much as compared to other exchange

HitBTC is not the best choice, they may be safe, but they require too high a commission for withdrawal, so you should try something else. You can use Binance, or search for a coin on the exchangers, for example ChangeNOW or coinswitch. They have no registration, so you will not pay a fee for withdrawing funds. These are the services that I use now.

Changenow is now a shady exchange and i dont heard about coinswitch , is that a new exchange ?   Other alternatives that i know is shapeshift.io  , they dont also have a registration but that does not mean that they dont have a fee .   hitbtc on the other hand is a well known exchange , so its safe  .  i did already use  hitbtc before and i dont experience any problem regarding on thier service though the fees are seem be costy compare to other exchange out there .

About volume market, it is depends on us but it is better to trade top 3 volume market in that exchanger you use to trade. So price movement not really slow and you can take action as fast as possible.

Start thread under scam accussation section of forum. Also try to recheck the value which you are entering. and check fees on withdrawal of coins.

Right now there is at least 3 scam report in HitBtc involving a big amount of money, people should stay away from trading in Hitbtc until the issue is resolved, but I doubt it, better look for a more reliable and reputable exchange looks like it's game over for HitBtc.

Evidence of the origin of the funds was rejected. Ask for screenshots of the entire history of the purchase transaction on the exchanges, all purchase orders, all conclusions and inputs . Require proof of purchase on ico.  I have a history of trading and shopping on ico for 3 years. Today 4 hours was doing the screenshots of all transactions , collected everything possible and sent them again.

Its very seldom for me to use this exchange actually. But I heard a lot of issues of some traders of Hitbtc exchange.
But honestly speaking, in every centralized exchange there is always a risk involve, and we can't avoid it actually. So this will depend
in our belief in the platform exchange, and choosing a legit exchange if you want a safe platform and trusted one too always look at the top exchange at the coinmarketcap, due to for me its an advantage.

My experience with the exchange is something else, its very slow when you want to put up a trade and I have concluded it is not flexible for trading.

Unlocked account, it took 2 weeks. I can definitely say the exchange is not scammers

HitBtc is good for trading. Just a precautionary measure that you should withdraw your funds from the trade once it is completed successfully. It is risky to keep the funds on the small exchanges.

I saw Hitbtc trading floor very well and stable. but because of the small number of traders, the volume and volume of volum also decreases.

small exchange ? no its not  . hitbtc is not a small exchange but i can say its a big exchange because its well known  . storing funds in hitbtc is not a problem because hitbtc is already proven to be safe  .

 active traders will prefer to keep thier cryptos on an exchange so that they can act quick if ever there is a price change .  but if you dont are not an active trader , then its better to withdrew your funds and keep the money on your own hands to avoid further problems .

I have not really had any issues while trading on hitbtc exchange, it's always very smooth and swift. If there is any problem, you should check from your end

Recently I see many complaints about this exchange. I have never used it ever since I consider their fees for deposits and withdraw are too large. However, friends are complaining that there are problems when you withdraw large amounts. Be careful.

Hitbtc is a good exchange for me so far. Been trading on the site for almost a year and never experience any problems while trading , the only bad thing on hitbtc is when they conduct  a short maintenance mostly all coins are unavailble for trade and withdraw.
