Hello Im new on this forum, can you help me to choose good coin for me? I have only 200€ to spend, I was thinking about ETH/LTC but is it worth when I have only 200? Or should I try my luck with something cheap.

While it's already seen a pretty big jump over the last month, I'm very bullish on QSP (Quantstamp). It's likely to continue on a steady uptick, and if the team delivers on their roadmap in March/April, it will moon.

Ripple is going all out but its your choice if you want to invest in that. ETH and LTC are good coins has high expectations from them. But BTC is the best.

I have a piece of BTC from opskins(I have sold stupid gamescon crates from PUBG)  ;D. Maybe that ripple is good choice now when price is a bit lower.

I think you are right in my opinion. Etherium and litecoin are good choice to invest because the price is more stable.
With your money just €200, i think invest in ico project is more profitable so you can double your capital quicker.

 In my personal opinion even with that smaller amount of investment, still believe it is profitable to get in the game. If I were you I might consider etherium For the next couple of months. I have invested myself and I’ve arty seen some good positive gains, and I have a feeling that this year it’s gonna blowup as well.

It is not an issue if you buy only a portion of a single coin! But before you invest you should definitely read the whitepaper of each project

I think for the beginner investing in Ripple is a not a good idea because this already pumped a lot and now market cap is very high. I think it is better you start with bitcoin because in short term it may be more volatile but in the long run after all the issues settled down it may fly high. Otherwise, you can go for lot good altcoins like ETH, LTC or NEO.

Yes i also agree if you invest in ico project beacuse you can get profit quicker.
But you have to understand before investing, more profit involve in more risk.

White paper only will not make the ico will success or not. White paper can be created by profesional hired person so it can not make project good or not by just read the whitepaper.
I think small amount is better for beginner, many thing you can learn first before increase the capital.

You can buy with your money, even only you can get little quantity, but that's good to start. About ETH/LTC is also great option because eth price go to the moon at this moment and also has good price action and volume. For me, it is not practical to invest in Ethereum (ETH) or Litecoin (LTC) if you only have a total of a little more than $200. It might not grow as fast as you might want to. And of course we want our investment to grow faster especially if it is only in a small or moderate amount. It would not be good to wait a long time for a small profit. Try looking for new altcoins that just dumped very recently but are expected to rise in value, even double, very soon. That is the easiest way to earn good.

To increasing amount of that money by make invesment in cheap coin that just entered to the market will be good idea ,.because the price can be going up 10 times in few month. But firstly learn about fundamental of that coin, and my personal opinion some coin that just entered to the market that has huge potential is UTRUST and DEEPBRAINCHAIN.

You can choose a cheap altcoin price so you can have a big amount of the coin and you can save in your wallet. I don't suggest buying an expensive coin because we don't know if the coin could increase more or only increase for a little. for a cheap coin, I think you can analyze verge, ripple, dgb, sc, ada, and else and you can buy right now because the price is not too expensive.

I think you are not maintain in both the coin. First you should invest one coin after that you have getting some idea then you will continue in investment.

I think if you have a little capital, you can invest in LTC or ETH. but for me faster you invest in bitcoin, to do trading in alt it more quickly produce every day, even if you with little capital will become bigger if you doing trading well in the market that already exist. especially in the forum poloniex and bittrex second forum is very easy and safe to do.

In my opinion buy 2 different coin each 100 EUR that has cheap price and just listing on the market, now alot of new coin has big potential. One of them could be Appcoin and Utrust. These coin has good in fundamental and in my prediction the price still able to going up 10 times more .

Hmm, after reading your recommendations I will try to gamble with something cheaper. For some reason I really dont like ripple. My big problem is that bitstamp is verificating my account 1mounth and still nothing.

There are so many coins to choose from and you should not just take people's advise on your own investment as that is not a smart move, so it may be nice for you to do some research by yourself. However, I would advise you chill a little bit on some coins as they have been overbought, so you do not end up holding a coin when it is already getting to the point of being dumped. Some of the coins I would have loved to mention are already pumped, so like I said, you may want to take a chill pill. XVG is still good though, as it looks like it is not over with the bullish trend, while you may want to hold some percentage of some top altcoins as well, using coinmarketcap.

If you like ETH and LTC you can buy 50% ETH and buy 50% LTC. If you just want to invest in an altcoin then you should choose LTC because its price may increase sharply in the future but ETH can decrease.

There is no need to invest into big currency like that if you have such small investment. I mean something is always good but not with eth and ltc. You can always checkout the different ICO projects which are having great potential and I can tell you surely that your 200 euros can be divided into five potential projects such as iota, xrp, xvg, tron and scl. These are most advance projects that I have seen up until now which are growing continuously and without any end to there investment. So better learn about some ICO projects and then distribute your investment.

Search projects with small market cap, less than $20 million, invest in 3 or 4.

Look for good fundamentals, active development, community, real use case.

Stay away from ICOs and Ethereum tokens.

If you want to get more coins with your money. I just suggest, you do not have to do what I say.
You should buy a coin that is still under $1 so you will get a lot of coins there and you will feel the growth and this is good for long-term investment. If you start it for the short term, btc remains the best.

If I were you, I'd definitely be looking into buying some cheaper coins, just so you can diversify a bit more.
Spending everything just on Litecoin and not even being able to buy 1 LTC does,'t sound like a good idea.

Coming from a Legendary member, which altcoins would you recommend that goes under your criteria of "good fundamentals"? I tried looking for one but it is not that easy.

I think it is better to go with ETH and it will be worth it if your investment is long term.But if you want to invest on cheap coins you may lose your investment amount.I am suggesting eth because it has great potential after bitcoin and the price may bump with ETH in this year like what happened with bitcoin in 2017.
And one more think you can benefit from investing on ethereum,there is a hard fork comin on January 19 so you will get a free coin also.

Considering the current valuation of BTC & ETH, I would prefer to invest in Ether as it still has more growth potential than BTC. I am not too optimistic on LTC since the time its founder announced selling of all his LTC coins.

I would split the funds, purchase 10 coins each of them with 10% of capital. Hold longterm, it's the key.

There a many ways you can make use of this money and least earn more than 5 times the investment.

1) Like you mentioned you can go for the big coins like ETH which are guaranteed to rise in 2018. But I would suggest NEO instead. As it also has a great potential and lot of ICO's coming on it.
2) You can trade the funds. Now this might be risky but if you do it right and with patience you can reduce the risk and earn quite a lot

With a capital of 200 €, I think you should trade to be able to increase your capital quickly. You should got for a small cap so you can actually make some money. 200 in ETH OR LTC wont do you much.

COB is a good bet. They are cobinhood, the free crypto exchange trying to be like robinhood the free stock broker. They are already at $1.35, and was trading at $0.40 last week.

Yes, these are some very good coins to invest into, cause they will continue to rise as time goes on. But it is okay that you also spread your hands to other altcoins like XRP, link, and some tokens like bonpaytoken, VIB taken. These are good ones too if you are going for a long term holding.

It's not always the amount that brings the success. You got to start somewhere. Just be wise and do the right moves that you feel you should do. If you think you need to listen to someone's advice, do it, but if you doubt him just stay away from it. i had only 200 as well when i invested into a coin and I chose a good one with a big potential but that was a new born coin and in my first trade my 200 became 1500$.

I was in your position not too long ago. If I were you: look for ways you can increase your current capital. There are many market movements, look into strategies on timing them and taking a penny coin to ten cents or something like that so you have 400 instead of 200. There is always a random altcoin that pops off daily. As you learn more about the investment tactics you can get better at it. For holding, check out coins that have low marketcap and are cheaper right now with under 100million in circulation. Gives room to grow. Hope this helps!

I would make it 5 pieces, 40 Euro for each piece. And then I would pick some promising ICO tokens from the exchanges. Then I would invest the pieces, 40 Euro per project. This is the most logical way in this case.

I would not consider 200€ a small amount to start with. I would suggest to put it in something safe so that your investment will grow slowly but surely, your picks are nice for that purpose. But thats just me. Maybe you are a risk taker and can deal with the loss of those 200€, then I would put it in something with low market cap and low circulating supply, maybe something like SUMO. But you should always do your own research, no investment advice here.

Dont just the profit mate but compare with the risk too. High profit and high risk is coming at the same time.
So i think start with €200 is enough as beginner. Start with small amount is better for beginner.

my advice is:
invest in relatively cheap coins, they ten do have bigger swings, and you can make profit from it, it is pure speculation

How about XRM, XRP, DASH and STR because I think it's worth it, this is just my suggestion so you better analyze it first, I think ETH is a good coin even though the price is higher but at least you have some small part of ETH.

      Why buy a coin that is already in the TOP at a fairly high price? That's pretty high risk. And if you make a profit, it's a "long-term" investment. Better buy a currency that is on the market first. A fresh currency emerged from the ICO period is the right choice. You just have to win. Choose one!

If you wanna make real money you need to look into low caps, top20 mcap coins ain't doing a 10x, 20x or 100x anytime soon...  :D

Even if the amount of investment is a small one still there is the window to earn good profits. The only thing is the person needs to look for the right place where he can invest his money. My first recommendation has remained Bitcoin but It has become too expensive now .only €200 will not give very big amount of profits. Therefore I also think it is better to invest in other growing alternative coins and then buy some Bitcoin.

Gems? Is that the same Gems project where the founders ran off with their investors' money? Or maybe it was Getgems? With all these new ICOs sprouting like annoying weeds in a beautiful garden, it is hard to keep up.

With that said, I believe the OP has a better chance in a mineable coin, that is actively developed and that has a market cap of under $50 million.

Well, since you are just starting out you should just go ahead and invest in ethereum instead of litecoin because the ethereum price is growing consistently faster than litecoin, bitcoin, and ethereum classic too. Ethereum is the best place for beginners to invest now. 

Well, As mate mentioned that you are in initial stage of investing and you have no such big fund for investing so i will also suggest you to go to altcoin in place of BTC because BTC is so expensive while in altcoin i will suggest you to go to ethereum in place of litecoin because price of ethereum is waving more as compare to other altcoins and if you can work with some techniques you will surely earn profit.

With that amount I would recommend investing in upcoming ICO's like the one in my signature. If you want to buy ethereum and litecoin with that amount I think  it is not good.  Why?  Because you can purchase only 0.25 ethereum or 1 litecoin and I think you will not make big profit high profit because once the price of this two coim increase you earn only little.
