Title: Let's invest some coins for fun!(seeking for early adopters and high rollers)
Post by: LeFBI on July 08, 2011, 08:29:48 PM
On the Off-topic board someone started a tattoo thread (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24176.0) asking for pics of bitcoin tattoos, however nobody seems to have a bitcoin tattoo yet... :(
I want to help changing that and therefore set some bounties (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24176.msg336081#msg336081) to make the idea of a bitcoin tattoo more attractive.

The Off-topic board isn't frequented that much, that's why i'm posting here to seek for people who want to participate in the small bounty campaign!
Anyone who's willing to raise the funds on the existing pot, take care of a bounty that i already offered or to set some additional bounties in the tattoo thread, feel free to do so. If you want to stay anonymous, pm me. I'm sure early adopters and high rollers out there have some btc they don't know what to do with...here's your chance to make a literally long-term investment for no other profit than community fun!  :)

Spread the word, thank you.

I have no tattoos but I'm willing to do this if the glory and prize is there. Also, you are going to need a REPUTABLE person to act as escrow. I have seen way too many competitions where the host ran away with the money.

you can set a bounty by yourself in the thread, so you would be the trusted person. Or you send some btc to the pot i started (read here (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24176.msg340253#msg340253)), that would make me the trusted person. Or you wait for someone with a higher reputation that you trust more for bounty collection. imho best would be if everybody makes his own offers...
like:
person 1 is willing to give 1btc for a bitcoin tattoo on arm
person 2 is willing to give 10btc for a bitcoin tattoo on arm
person 3 is willing to give 0.1btc for a bitcoin tattoo on arm

and then just add up, making it an overall bounty of 11.1BTC for an arm tattoo. something like that...

and this is why i started this thread.....to raise funds and/or find fellow investors. if you are here to get a tattoo and grab the bounty, then this is the wrong thread. :-/
otherwise feel free to set an additional bounty and/or raise the pot :)

We have two people who got a bitcoin tattoo so far.

evolve  (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?action=profile;u=15381)(thigh tattoo, 10BTC bounty paid (http://blockexplorer.com/address/1G2za9vp2GMVyUPjNjyqDjGkvp7Ng2ideG), details (http://www.tidbitcoin.com/))

CryptoCommodity (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?action=profile;u=23876) (mons pubis tattoo, 200BTC bounty paid (http://www.tidbitcoin.com/), details (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=27958.msg352174#msg352174))

However the above 200BTC bounty drained the initial pot already....i didn't expect anyone would head straight for this.
this i is why i again ask you early adopters and high rollers out there to join the bounty campaign!

Please donate to 126FMBBwGxw6CiNqzod1RMEeUtCj1iDDQu to refill the tattoo pot or set your own bounties in the tattoo thread (http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=24176.0)!

thank you!
