Title: Pump and Dumps? Has anyone been a part of this? Thoughts?
Post by: Lambo Pump on January 12, 2018, 12:35:15 AM
Has anyone been involved in pump and dumps? I was offered an invitation to a channel on telegram, and my mate said he has made over $5k in channels like this (he got in on ground floor of a few). Any thoughts?

No, i have never been involved in pump and dump group. it's a way to lose money, people who buy a coin thinking(signaled by these groups) it will be pumped get dumped on. why don't we stop joining these groups? remove the link from your post.

I wish I am a member of such group since it would reallyt a great help if signals and just keeps on coming especially a planned pump of a coin or token.  But sadly I am not a member of such group.  i might be biased here since I have never experienced to be a member of any group but I hear/read that often times when group decided to exit, they tend to left their members bagholding their sold token.  I have read one of the conversation here, the infamouse pump of dogecoin way back years ago, the group ofpumpers especially those who are late to receive the signal ended up as bagholders losing several BTC on the process.

I lost 0.50BTC when trying to make some quick bucks following so called provably fair pump and dump scheme through one telegram channel. Don't get scammed by such groups, you will only loss because all those big players will auto trade using bots during pump so they can easily sell their holdings at your buy orders when price will be at peak.

You can't make early exit so rather than earning anything you will loss all you have.

Its really not good to depend on those groups because those people behind it are just want to make money. Make your own analysis and you will surely appreciate the hard works. Pumps and Dumps is very normal learn to ride on it.

This. Getting involved in pump and dump groups is a great way to lose money that could have just been spent in an investment in a promising crypto. I've never been a part of a P&D group and never will be. Joining one sounds like an awful idea.

I have joined this kind of telegram group by 2 times trading and all that my trade loss because the price to fast going up and i bought at high price. So for the better stay away from pump dump group and much better doing trading by own strategy and own analysis.

pump groups like this exist and people sometimes make profit from these groups too. but that doesn't change they fact that they are scams.

a pump group unlike its name, is when someone buys some coins when the price is stable and low and while nobody is paying any attention. then he places some sell orders at higher prices and after that he tells a lot of idiots who are following him to buy that coin. when they buy he makes profit. of course on the way up some of those idiots make some small profit since there are more idiots in the group.

but the person who makes real profit and consistently is the scammer who is running things and calls it "signal".

Pump and dump it’s a part of business some time bitcoin price will be high and sometime its price will be low because it’s not a first time that it’s going to happen it happen so many time in past because its price is related with market trade and nothing to worry about anything because bitcoin is a committed currency and it change its price fast from low to high so we need to support bitcoin any time any place because it’s here for us.

I think to be able to understand all about "Pump and Dumps" you need to learn a lot in the field of economics in order to have an in-depth analysis of it. Learning is a process that can not be day or two, you need to learn who is ahead and find out why they can know the market. You need to follow and get information anytime, anywhere. Then you can make your own analysis and guess the market.
Good luck

Pump and dump group will actually not helping you, you are just making yourself dependent because you are relying on a signal that is actually base less. Its a clear scam and trying to corrupt your mind so you better not to try joining on this kind of groups. Keep on learning so you can trade confidently, and you will surely make money on that.

Better if you have a friend that knows how to trade and let him/her teach you. Relying on signals will not lead you anywhere what if they scam you or leave you halfway on trading they will drain yoir money until your demise of your coin. Signals have bad repitations but there are some that is the real deal so hard to find them though.

true having some friends that have knowledge about trading and have some experience regarding on trading are one of the best advantage of , yes we are able to understand it but when you are on that situation this is hard to know for.

My thoughts? You are just trying to advertise your stupid Telegram channel on us. If you want to scam people into joining your channel then do it away from this forum.

I already reported this thread to the moderators and requested that they delete it immediately.

Funny  :D , why your username is the same as the telegram group you are asking. Weird, but you look like a promoter and not only asking. Btw pump and dump is not a good group because it will only push you to lose money.

Yes, to be able to participate in the pump and dump sessions you need to have a great understanding of finance and accounting, that is a simple math problem you need to make in order to make a profit for your team. For me personally, getting involved in a pump and dump batches are not advisable because it's dangerous and unstable.

You only win with this if you run a Pump Dump group, cause you can buy before the Pump starts and sell after the others start to buy.
Get away from these shemes.

To be honest, I am not part of any pump or dump group. Not all cryptocurrencies can guarantee you a huge pump or dump. You can be lucky if that cryptocurrency you are holding is pumping, but there's a chance it could crash hard down the line.

In the world of cryptocurrency, everything here is unpredictable. You may not know when it will pump or will dump. The secret is that when you are in high profits, do not hold until the end. You can cash out some of the huge profits, wait for the FUDders to dip it more, so that you can buy some more at lower prices.

Is your mate really your mate or he has some second purpose in luring your into this group? Usually when they would tell you about an upcoming pump be sure that they would already have accumulated the specific coin for weeks or month, your role would just to help them rise the price so that THEY can dump their cheap coins on everyone - you included.

avoid joining groups that related to pump and dumps, if you don't want to lose your money
