well it deserves to be put out there, ive been insulted cause of my religion a billion times on there but put up with it cause i didnt want my account banned. seeing as my account is banned i have no reason to put up with racists fucks like him

Sorry that you got banned and I certainly won't stand up for any comments regarding others religions.  However, you did write a spam bot begging for money.

That doesn't justify intolerance but it does provide a bit of context to why you were banned.

probably am, its one of the things i like to do to trolls. However trolling should be kept as that trolling, racism, religion, ethnicity shouldnt be brought into it

the muslim remark is clearly a joke. spambots aren't a joke though, they are hella annoying

my spam bot ran once an hour when i had turned it on and it was running properly. The only other time it was spamming was when i was using it to troll one of the trolls on there badri. and even then i turned it off when i was asked and i was actually at the pc

im not butthurt i have more active people in my own channel than there is in years in #mcxnow and i wasnt annoying anyone it was a civilised conversation as shown upon which he blocked me after i threatened to log the chat where hes been racist

You seem to completely forget about the kinds of vitriol you've been posting yourself for maybe weeks on the chat over there.  I've personally seen very aggressive comments and inciting rants,  as well as quite rude behavior repeatedly.  For instance, you have a way with profanity on occasion that I'm sure is offensive to quite a lot of people -- including the ones you "scream" insults at -- yet you want to pretend that you're some sort of victim by having others say something offensive to you.

As usual, there are many sides to every story.  It's ridiculous that you are drawing a line with this joke and thinking that this exchange the reason you were banned.  There were many complaints about your behavior over time and I'm not sure why you're so confused.  The same type of complaints you have against other chat participants, who are also NOT banned for their behavior, are the types of behavior you have also exhibited.  I don't like racial jokes either, but neither do I enjoy insults I've seen you spew.  You were not banned when you did that for weeks.

An obvious -- and self-admitted -- spam bot is certainly enough to get you banned in many chat spaces.  All the other definitely-annoying exchanges on the site chat were tolerated just like dozens of other annoying chat exchanges are tolerated.  It's a very open chat space, which is an understatement.  Some people don't like that, which is fine.

If you give the "moderate" muslims the choice between the Islamic extremists and atheist for example, you know they are going for the extremist right?

Better to be hardcore in what you believe, than to tolerate other moderates that are a little different in their believes.

The only reason extremists (of any religion, of any kind) exist is because in the end they have the support of the moderate co-believers.

RS has a very dry sense of humour and also would say the Muslim thing, as he knew it would look bad and rasict. He did it on purpose as he knew it would get a reaction.

I say we ban all religion and turn everyone into atheists :D. At least there will be no more religion-motivated crimes.

Banning never seems to solve anything. People will just continue to do so in private and/or fight it out with the oppressors. Maybe it'd be a better world with only atheists and agnostics and not people that believe everything that was written centuries ago by mortals. But most likely not, humans will always find a reason to kill, religion happens to be the scapegoat of our era.

I said its unlikely for microcash to be a success as realsolid doesnt exactly instill confidence into people about his projects. i was banned for that reason only, my bot account was used for the spam bot and i told everyone clearly only that account is for my bot. my normal account was in use only for legit purposes. RS didnt like what i said so banned me, then insulted me in IRC when i asked him about it then banned at the first site of his insults being released to public

I said there'll be less religion-motivated crimes, not that all conflict will magically disappear.

And yes, religion played a part in the formation of anti-Chinese sentiment in Japan. The Chinese wanted to spread Confucianism while the Japanese wanted to retain their original religion, Shintoism. Not to turn this into a history lesson, but religion plays a part in pretty much all conflicts, past or present.

But yea, people naturally impose their worldview on others, so getting rid of religion won't turn Earth into a utopia.

Japanese are not really religious as compared to other nationalities.

And anti-Japanese sentiment exists in China too.

I just think people need to feel a sense of belonging among their social and ethnic group (Maslow's hierarchy of needs).

I find it is best in general and even more on exchange chats, to try and leave religion, political views and topics of that nature at home when entering the world of the Crypto-Currency. They just don't seem to mix well.

That's just my observation.

Commies tried to ban religions it didn't work for them they just created a distributed and redundant network of small groups of hardcore believers (well, quite like bitcoin :)) . BTW communism was an other religion... just like atheism. So the commies actually committed the same crimes as religious extremist with the same religious heat :). Only ideology and the "holy trinity" were different. Perhaps Nietzsche was right "He who fights too long against dragons becomes a dragon himself..."
