Title: Koinbi SCAM
Post by: boba02 on January 14, 2018, 11:25:24 PM
Koinbi exchange is actively promoting their services.

Do not deposit any money to Koinbi!

You won't be able to withdraw them!

Koinbi is a SCAM!!!

Predictably my messages were deleted from Koinbi promotion thread.

So my point is proved.

Are your money stuck in their wallets?

I quoted your message and posted my reply in that thread. That also got deleted. :) I came to know about this exchange just today. So I am not sure whether this is true or wrong.

Yes. 2FA doesn't work and I can't withdraw without it.
No support whatsoever, total silence.

And it's not only me, I've seen similar reports here.

Wow, that blows.  No wonder they were stating they would give free BTC to the first 100 members.

Well, here is how it worked for me.

I had some altcoins and found a good rate on Koinbi.
Deposited my coins, traded, but when it came to withdrawing, 2FA didn't work.

The only way of contacting support is their email (support@koinbi.com).
Sent an email more than a month ago. No reply.

Messaged on Twitter. My message went nowhere.

If you don't believe me, you can go ahead and trade. I heard about someone who was able to withdraw, but I know another guy who couldn't.

So whatever you deposited, there is a high chance it'l become your donation to the scammers.

Thanks for advice, but I just want to warn people here.
You know why?
Koinbi is posting their threads here, so people read them here and let themselves to be robbed of their coins.

That's why I want my threads to go alongside with their promotion.

I'm not gaining anything from this, just don't want other people to lose their money.

They could give BTC even to 1000 members.
Because those BTC would be "virtual BTC" existing only on Koinbi exchange.
With no way to withdraw.

To prove my point even further, Koinbi topic starter Tryoene provided his email and promised to help to withdraw my coins.

Email turned out to be fake too:

<james@koinbi.com>:
Unable to deliver message after multiple retries, giving up.
