I believed so many peoples feel like crying when look into your portfolio recently. Seeing all the coins drop 10-20% each day. So many people are in panic and some even cut lost and dump which make this happen.

BUT i am a long term holder and waiting this big chance to get in for more!

As Buffett said, "buy when there is blood in the streets and bullets whistling overhead." Now the moment is not the same, but it's close to that. I have already started to slowly buy up ETH and those alcoins that in my portfolio sank more than 20 percent.

Such points like now are nothing more than a great price to buy some btc. The previous history shows that such 10-20% daily loss are easily recovered on the next day (or maximum couple days) which makes such investments safer (ofc if nothing serious happened, but now everything seems fine).
I bet he would never say the same about cryptocurrencies :) but anyway your message is clear.

i caught BNB drop frpm $14 to $9.8 in one minutes, and now it's going back to $13 XD

Its a good time to buy. I did put a lot of my winnings in BTC lately and since BTC is only down 13% I can get a pretty good price on some coins that are down like 30%.

When I first saw a similar dump i'm succumbed to panic, the second time I did not pay attention to it, but now I take it for granted and laugh at those who panic.

All the alt is down, that is the moment all of us buy the coin we like, I saw it as chances to buy and make more profit and I am already imagine the profit that I am going to get, good investors know when the price go down, its the perfect time to buy

I believe we have hit the bottom. My coins are recovering and started to go up.

I am also a long holder and such days are great to put some new FIAT into the portfolio.

I think that what is happening today is a great opportunity to buy tokens at the best price, because in the near future I think you will not see such a price, so it's definitely worth buying. But of course it's worth trying to catch the bottom.

I just think, why people panic at times like this..If we assume bitcoin like in a supermarket can now be said to be a big discount. The cheaper the price people will be able to profit from the discount..if bitcoin is on a discount, surely I do not panic ;D

altcoin is great and many have lost the money for just holding the bigger ones because the money is losing when you buy it so it's better to hold it first

Yeah people mostly panic because of falls in altcoins and some do panic selling but we know that it is only temporary and it is really the nature of cryptos; which is being unstable. While people are panicking and doing panic selling, we should grab opportunity to buy altcoins while it's still in its dumping price cause we all know that anytime soon, it will pump again and it's price might be stable to its high price.

as much as i hate to see the monetary number in my acnt down......im buying more. its perfect timming to get in cheap on the ones you missed out on or just to pick up more. its not going away. the cats outta the bag. buy the true and trusted if you wanna play it safe. gamble on a little on the lesser known if you like and hopefully you make it big.

Indeed, there is a tendency of falling and altos against the background of bitcoins show disgusting results. But do not forget that the alts with the growth of the market give greater percentages compared to bitcoin. And those who succumbed to panic as in any market will always be at a loss.

Panic sell is for newbies that just got in a saw everything turn red. Seasoned traders will be buying up in bulk all their favourite coins. The question is which coins to buy - everything is on sale now!

Sometimes its up and sometimes down, dont panic sell and make your plans before the volatility kicks in and stick to your plan

Except you are a professional it is very difficult for one to actually not panic based on the rate bitcoin get dump so far. I don't think for quite some time now we have ever witness this type of dump in price. Almost all the coin get dump over 20% in just 39 minutes. I think the bad news from China is responsible for this and very soon every thing well normalized.

the market should go rise up again few weeks from now alot of people will take advantage of the falling market like us alot of people who sold their coins right now must probably regretted once the price rise up again crying they should'nt sell it.

I am not gonna lie last few days I was like this is okay but today I still think it is okay but I am beginning to wonder whether a new trend is being established. I certainly wouldn't mind dumping my alts in favor of some BTC if I knew something was going to happen but I literally just don't know. I guess gotta see what happens next few days and then make a decision, my wish is that the markets turn around though would be pretty awful to see another bear run right about now.

What if we dont have More money to invest.? Every my portfolio is 90% red but am not gonna panic as I have sold part of every coin for a little profit. So most of what I have is near to free so holding them won't cost me any loss.

I allready lost like ton of my money, no bragging but i buy NXT since the price is so damn high, and see on what price that coin now. my bitcoin investment is fall too. still holding it anyway, i know its just need more time and the market back to normal

It's a great opportunity to consolidate your position, the main reason many of us are struggling is that we are not in a position to do just that and so it's a long way to recover to the previous heights. The nice thing is that most of us are still probably in profit, it's still painful to be 50% down on our previous ATHs though, I think that's probably about the amount the average person is down.

This happened so many times before, always research on the coins that are viable and with strong fundamental. Bitcoin and crypto will not die overnight just because of periodic corrections.

most coins are in stronger positions than ever, there are so many money into blockchain and bitcoins now. Keep the faint. Now is the testing forntrue believers and filter out pretenders.

I think if you have coins to hodl them as they are dropping so fast it'll be hard to get any money, if you are going to buy wait until the dust settles from the drop.  They spiked so high in such a short period of time that it's very likely they will crash even more and get to where they should really have been all along without the sudden surge in speculators jumping in.

Also, I like this quote from him: "The stock market is a device for transferring money from the impatient to the patient." Applicable to crypto as well. People who can't wait, panic sell now. Meanwhile, smart investors buy more.

i always think many people said how much they earn before they cashed out. and when this big dump happen, they will be crying. so normally i won't tell people how much i earn until i cashed it out :D

Donot panic, and try to make average for your holdings. once pumping started we can make profits by doing average

my assets down to 40% due to chinese new year sale .... Luckily I got to sell some assets in fiat there is possibility of waiting for right time to buy some altcoin

when everyone is panic you should wait for the time to come in and take the opportunity that most people are giving to you,
we never fall on an edge if we are on the bottom, we never fall back if we are already on the corner, this is the principle i know and cryptocurrency is the best one to apply for it, grab the opportunity in the market once you are on that situation!

For me personally this is a good chance to buy coins. Since I'm sure that very soon the prices for them will start to rise. And panic is an unnecessary thing in all life situations an extra feature.

I have to agree with what you said. In times like this the ones who loses will be the ones who panics. Panicers would make bad decisions .Everyone who looked at their portfolio was probably shocked. Most important thing to do is to stay calm  and wait for markets to recover or you can buy new coins from dip.

Yes, you are right. Market down is the best time to buy more coins to add to our investment portfolio. I notice that some altcoins have not fully recover, buy it before the uptrend continue.

If you were seeking blood in the streets it looks like we are going to have now a sequel of the big dump of a few days ago. BTC Bulls and bears are now battling at the 10K$ threshold and bears seem stronger - if 10K falls, you will have your wished for bargains...

10k in itself is already a bargain, I actually perceive it that the bulls are winning, I don't think we will reach the previous bottom. Now to my mind is a better buying opportunity than the first time we reached 10k.

That is the best thing to do. Sell during the hype and buy during the panic. This is an opportunity for us to buy more coins and add it to our portfolio. Altcoins and Bitcoin are on sale and it will surely give us a huge profit after the bloodbath. Weak hands always lose so we need to be stronger and be patient.

I'm still checking my portfolio every single day to remind me if I still have funds to spare, top up and buy some coins. Of all the dips happened since I've joined crypto, I've finally managed to buy this January unfortunately it hasn't go up yet so need to hodl!

I am happy if there is a big dump that will happen because I can buy many coins for a low price and I can save it again like before. and yes, I see that many people become panic once they see the price is drop too far than they could imagine. but if they understand that is the right time to buy more amount, they will not sell their coins because of the drop price. they will still hold their coins no matter how much the price while they can buy again.

With amount of tether being pushed out i am not so sure about the dump as current price action is a result of manipulation of whales,just look at the volume trading you can influence on price with less then 500 btc.On the other hand many people are waiting for the dip and chance to buy it at 8k...

I agree, it feels like their is a lot of price manipulation happening. It is hard to see how long this can go. I personally feel like it will dip to around $8,000 and then it will begin to re-climb again back to its highs

The price of bitcoin now is around 10k+ $ to 11k+ $ , this is happen in this whole week correct me if I'm wrong but every time I see bitcoin in my blockfolio that is the price I see, even though the price if bitcoin now are down I know bitcoin will increase again.

i do agree that too many people are panic and make market even worse. the market is starting to recover now base on https://coinmarketcap.com . soon the value will bounce back to how it should be. im holding my coin and i put my believe on cryptocurrency. cryptocurrency is our future and this will be the new way of stock market. this indeed good moment to buy more and hold more coin.

The price is consolidating day after day. The likeness of a Major drop are slowly fading away, But we still could have a retesting of the lows.

It has been drops these past weeks already. In this time I am expecting their is a sudden huge price upcoming in bitcoin. We are already resting in this dump for long so hoping bitcoin price will regain its value to high.

Such dumps (as pumps too) come from time to time. Infinite growth is impossible. It is a black friday in crypto market now: 50% discount on BTC is available ;D
You should notice that in the usd equivalent, the portfolio has decreased not so much (somewhere in the range of 20-25% depending on your alts choose).

Same here this time is not the right time to sell because the price of bitcoin is down and another altcoin is going down too. If i sell right now i will lose some money. I am not so panicked by looking at the value of crypto now. I'm sure there will be more opportunities later on.

No doubt massive dump create panic among cryptoholders but it also provide opportunity to buy specially high price cryptos like BTC, ETH etc at low prices. I don't lose hope from such dumps. Dumps give a good start. Portfolio worth might fall during dump but portfolio could be become attractive by adding more cryptos into it at lower price.

there were weak hands who sold during this dip and strong hands were busy in buying from them.. market dips are the part of any business  crypto world should learn this

It makes me hurt when everytime i saw my portfolio and watching everyday with a massive dump of all of my coins. And all can do now is delete my binance app and forget my bittrex for a while. I will hold all my coins until all of altcoins will awakes and pumps up again. I really trust all of my holdings.

the price is starting to increase back although now the price is at $9k and soon we can see $10k and higher again. I think this still a good time to buy bitcoin although if we want to buy at the lower price, we need to wait until the price is down but I don't think that the price will be down deeper. and if I take a look at poloniex, btc-usdt, I think the price will increase although is a little or we are going to see a sideways mode again.

Thats true,you need to be patient when a bloodbath happened and you got stucked with your alts,the best thing to do is to wait for the market to get recover so you wont lose,do not ever try to do stupid things like panic selling.On the other hand few smart people will surely doing shopping spree with the cheap alts in bloodbaths so they will make a lot of money after the market recovered.
