NEO
NEO runs its own blockchain, which improves on Ethereum’s algorithm, making it more efficient and secure. It aims at supporting a smart economy using digital identity technology to allow for the digitization of assets and, like Ethereum, supports smart contracts, which allow for the management of those same assets. NEO recently started to gain more attention from investors. Its price more than doubled since the beginning of December. In January, the team will further distribute the network, guaranteeing no single group of node operators can control the network. It will also have a number of ICOs launching on its platform in the months to come, which will further strengthen the network’s position.

EOS (runs its own blockchain architecture, designed to enable “vertical and horizontal scaling of decentralized applications”. This means that EOS’s system is designed to scale, is capable of supporting accounts, authentication, databases, asynchronous communication and any type of application on top of its blockchain, processing millions of transactions per second at nearly zero cost. EOS is running the most unique ICO of 2017. It will will run for 341 days, until June 2018, allowing plenty of time for scrutiny and for investors to become acquainted with the project. Just in December 2017, EOS’s price has already tripled. The fact that the project has high transaction speeds, no fees and no need for forks to perform upgrades, make it a highly interesting coin to follow.

I believe that both of these projects are very promising, especially for a long time. Why do not you want to reduce risks and invest in both of these projects? I think it's a great option.

I think that EOS on paper looks to be the better prospect and you can still buy EOS quite cheaply at the moment in a range between $10 and $15. Only thing is that NEO is successfully running now and launching other tokens whereas EOS is still in development.

I think, from the white paper and the technical strength, it is possible that EOS is more promising, because NEO's improvement is not particularly obvious compared to ETH, but the emergence of EOS may surpass ETH. ;D

I like to use NEO more because all NEO transactions are almost free and they have a very good platform in the market. Personally, I would keep NEO for a long time to be able to see the future of NEO

Ofcourse NEO is better than EOS. NEO has a lot of good projects and ICOs right now. But EOS is definetely one of the most promising coin that has a future I suggest you hold it for a long term.

Since these digital currencies have both blockchain of their own, it just signify that they are all promising currency. Recently, i have found an ICO where their token runs on the NEO blockchain and of course asking participants for the NEO wallet where the payments should be sent. Even if they are both good, I prefer NEO over EOS. :)

As of the moment if We will base our judgement in technical analysis both coins should be put only on watchlist. Neo trend is downward while EOS Uptrend daily performance reach the resistance. The probability EOS will move upward is greater than NEO. Trade at your own risk.

My stakes are on the NEO only because despite of the similarities between the two projects it has got bigger volume and popularity in the market. Plus this coin is older than the EOS one and one thing sure about it is, it will sustain in the market for very very long time. NEO, from its past can tell us many positive things, for example in the year 2016 end it had no market value at all, at the start of year 2017 it pumped a little bit to 6 USD and sustained that price for almost 6 months and got spiked to 30 USD and then we are seeing the out reached prices for it today. This is clear indication that the coin is getting developed day by day and we can make profits out of it in the long run.

Neo has more popularity as a blockchain development platform than eos. I haven't seen anyone use eos to make their own coin, but there are increasing number of icos out there that is using neo. And with neo beginning to scale, it will solve neo's "centralization" problem.

I think NEO, from now there are some ICO starting with NEO platform. And furthermore, NEO is from China and you can believe on their economic potential  ;D

I prefer neo. Now neo has some number of ico. And eos although sounds feel very bad, but there is no application, if in June, to come out of the application of eos, let's see some actual applications, so may I change my personal view, now I am still bullish on the neo

I think EOS has a future after NEO, so both are good to invest in as they both eventually will take a decent market share after ETHEREUM. NEO is more established but EOS will release it's mainnet in the late Spring so while EOS is fairly still cheap you can purchase a good amount of EOS before it's mainnet launch so you can be ahead of the curve. NEO is already over 100 USD each so you will need more funds to accumulate more NEO.

From your description EOS sounds much better.

It is difficult to choose between EOS and NEO.
Because NEO is now the first in Asia and a strong competitor to ETH.
However, EOS looks more like a block chain 3.0, which may subvert our understanding of smart contracts.

NEO is better but EOS is much better.

If you look into the price it is good to buy EOS now because NEO is at the peak as of this writing. NEO is still has a lot of problems to resolve. NEO has Gas while EOS doesnt have.

For me just invest in the future and that is EOS.

Really? I think it's too early for EOS to said it's popular because right now NEO is on it's new ATH because those ICO's partnered with NEO has a very big potential in the future. But I like EOS just not satisfied with what you said.

EOS will be multitudes more versatile and decentralized than EOS.
Just to implement a smart contract on NEO costs 300k$...kind of a barrier to entry.
EOS is going to drop on the market like an atomic bomb once released.
They have been working on the platform for years and it is the culmination of the most prolific blockchain architect in the world, Dan Larimer.
Combine that will more than 1 Billion$ to build the Dapp ecosystem and an almost never ending endowment to keep building on EOS, there is no stopping it.
If you can buy in today at these prices...it will be at least 100$ by end of 2018...could be 200$. Yes that's right, it will have at least a 100 Billion$ market cap.
EOS is the most well thought out release of any blockchain platform as well, there is no whales. As far as I know, no one owns more than .1% of the EOS tokens available.

You can invest both of them to lower your risk. Also I have a question , has EOS taken anything out of paper to us ?

For me Zcash and Monero are the altcoins with the great privacy. I also suppose that NEO belongs to this list; Bitcoin  can be not called the safest one. Both coins are good. But obviously i will go with NEO, because upcoming days NEO is going have lots of ICO project. And also if you check NEO price history, NEO is more than EOS. So they is no doubt on this. My opinion is NEO. If you invest in NEO you will get more profit.

i cannot say who is better directly.. but both project seems interesting.. when neo is up it still has more potential to go up from here again.. and eos will do the same way in coming months and years because both are strong projects.. only thing is that crypto is very volatile,,.so if you are looking at it as profit wise then i would say go with half on each for long term

Two coin's are more potential I think.But my favorite is NEO because I am a NEO holder.Although big difference within two coin's such as NEO total supply 100,000,000 on the other hand EOS total supply 647,534,355 I think NEO supply is very limited that's why price will be huge increased in future.

In my opinion, both projects are strong and promising in themselves.

After reading this thread and fluent comparison of both coins I consider NEO to be more stable and better for now, but EOS can also become prosect in future.

I think NEO is better. NEO is the platform and its price depends on the activity and the number of people using it. I believe that NEO has a great future.

I like both but my money is on EOS at these price levels. I believe EOS has better multiplier potential

I think EOS looks better project! EOS promises to solve Ethereum’s scalability issues and provide the capabilty for developers to build far more advanced applications on their blockchain. Also has massive upside but still a lot to prove in the coming months.

I would take NEO because of the Asian backing

With such a system you might think it is an advantage of this project but I think it is at once a disadvantage because when the user is few we also will only get a little bit

In my thinking Neo is the better coin because Neo gives the good platform to invest and earn a much profit in future than other coins.

I think NEO is better though EOS, has more potential and they do more. But the platform should be attracting many interested developers and using it to develop ICO projects, so I think NEO has more potential than EOS.

Ofcourse neo is better than eos. What we need to discuss is neo vs eth, not neo vs eos :D
They have different classifications from each other. Neo will be one of the biggest 3 coins in the future :)

EOS looks better NEO only on documents, from the technical point of view, NEO is far away in development, it is already a really working business. In terms of investment, these two projects deserve attention and are roughly equivalent, but I would choose NEO.

I also. NEO work already. And NEO have working platform with ICO and some tokens on it. But EOS is great on WP only. Where is their cod? Where are any development? I see speculation and ring investment own funds in own ICO. When we will see any work?

If at present, NEO is better, because ETH is very popular in Asia, and there are many projects based on NEO.
But if EOS can do what it says, I think we'll see EOS go beyond ETH and NEO by the end of 2018.

Both are good coins but if I'm going to choose which one is better than the other then it would be NEO because NEO network is more faster than the Ethereum and EOS.
I read the comparison of the two coins in this forum before and the writer declared NEO is the winner but it doesn't mean that EOS has no advantage over NEO because by default we can't compare each coin to another otherwise the coin is a fork from the other.

It seems to me Neo will be a more profitable investment at the moment because its products are more popular. Eos can become necessary and demanded coin in the future.

In my opinion both have great qualities, is not a question of market time, I'm talking about quality, I particularly have investments in both, now, in terms of market time, NEO is older , but are small details that differentiate them. I do not see rivalry, I see opportunity to invest in both.

As long as there is competition there is progress and new technological advancement. I'd say to buy a little bit of both, this way you can't be mistaken. :)

Eos should be better, the developers of eos are better than the developers of neo, and I think the eos is more technical, and neo is more focused on propaganda.

If you believe me then I would like to tell you that it is better that you invest in both of these coins as both the projects are looking good and promising as they both are having good potential to give you good returns especially if you are planning to invest for long-term investment. But even though if you are forced to chose anyone then I would like to invest in Neocoin as I am very confident in Neocoin and I have also done investment here in this coins for several times and also traded it multiple times in this month too. EOS needs to undergo development and if it is upgraded on a timely basis then even it can be a good investment for sure.

I go for neo even if the altcoin is not in good stable i choose neo as long term investment, i seen the potential of neo in the market have big change to increase their price. In term in the capability as coin neo to s have long time place in the top ten coins.

Where is the technology behind EOS itself. It's just still a whitepaper and no more. Potential for what? I guess there is a lot of small projects raised a little amount compared with EOS but they are having a better development than EOS. That facts. NEO has a fully worked network.

Both coins are good but sympathy would go to NEO because its more matured than EOS.NEO transactions are almost free.NEO sustained its price level high since from its launch.I have NEO in my portfolio and i will hold for long term i know that its powered by strong Chinese development team and they will keep modifying it with the passage of time.After ETH NEO is supposed to be good for long term investment.EOS is new and it will take time to judge EOS.

IMO EOS is a scam. With and ICO of ONE YEAR of duration, is just building its value on capturing ethereum continuously while providing nothing to the investor.

Neo is better compare with etherium because they are more compatible competitor.

i've read that NEO could be very centralized, with the complete community best having thirteen validating nodes. and even more alarming is that each one thirteen of NEO’s validation nodes are controlled by its development team. so i preffer NEO for holding and trade both better than EOS.

In my opinion right now NEO is better because this crypto already has running product but EOS still under development, but in the future can be EOS will be better, so this is depend on the team and next development of the project.

i think NEO is bettern than EOS, because NEO is more popular, than any other altcoins, using its own blockchain making it more unique than EOS, its so great that many people call it The Chinese Ethereum, of course the real value of NEO is it can be used in both investing ICOs and trading on exchanges, so the potential of NEO is much greater than EOS.

I think I will choose EOS, because the founder of the EOS is a genius, so I think it is entirely possible to create a world of a new intelligent project contract, so I'm more looking forward to the performance of the EOS.

I own a LOT of EOS, and I don't own any NEO (sadly).

both projects are very promising, especially for a long time. Why If I were you I would reduce the risks and invest in these two projects because I think that's a good choice. and the market movement of these two coins can be said to develop from time to time. so it will be profitable.

Neo is an established platform already. but Eos also looks promising. May be in an year, we can see its true potential
