Did you make an account with deepbit?

What does it look like when you try to mine solo?

I think the url should be pit.deepbit.net - at least that is what I use. And of course as already mentioned you need an account first. If you want to test your miner without an account, you could try Eligius since there is no sign-up required.

The port for Eligius is 8337, not 8332. Are you getting a connection, but just not seeing any shares? If you are really mining with a geoforce 9100, it will take a long time to get a share. I'm not sure what hash rate you can get form that card, but it must be really low. If you haven't already, google "mining hardware comparison." You will see from the spreadsheet that you really need a radeon series card to get anywhere mining at current difficulty levels. You may also be having issues with GUIMiner, but until you get a card with a decent hash rate, it isn't even worth trying to figure out. I would either invest in a better card for mining, or just drop the idea of mining entirely.

I see...trying to test to see if it will work with your current set-up may not tell you that much, regardless of whether it works or not. I'm not even sure if you *can* mine with a 9100. I would just get that rig already and have faith that you will be able to get it running...I'm sure the board can help you puzzle out any technical problems that arise.
