The market is down again and BTC is down almost 50%. What do you think will happen?? Will it dip further??

I feel that the price is going to get much higher than 11 thousand dollars.
A lot of people in the world did not invest in Bitcoin yet.

If anyone knew the answer to this they would be sitting on an island with bikini babes feeding them grapes and fanning them while rolling around in billions of dollars.

Buy in when you feel comfortable with your investment at whatever price BTC is at. You'll never time a dip perfectly and you'll never call a top perfectly. You have to pave your own path and be ok with whatever decision you make.

i think its price will increase soon and it will rise up once again.we need to wait for it and  support bitcoin.

My opinion this situation continues to the march of 2018, then we seen anounces in cryptoworld, and market going up again

I feel the market should pickup properly from mid-February.

Bitcoin may dip a little more but it will never cross the 9.000 USD again and once the final dip had happened, bitcoin will ride a rocket and bring the nice price ahead. People are having the panic for their coin because the market is in trouble, but only people can make bitcoin rise again as this coin is depending on the supply and demand of the people around the world. Bitcoin will not go down if people are not selling this coin with low price, but due to the panic in the market, they are making it.

It is on correction for marketcap. Hopefully on early March, price will be rising again. We should wait for big pump. For all coins, it is a bad time. It is not time for selling but time for investment. Though prediction is hard but in my opinion that all coins will be rising soon.

Obviously no one knows when the market will pick up again... This is just a waitting game, you need to be patient and believe that the investors that were scared away from bitcoin with the news coming from Asia will return soon. Once they start returning you'll see a rise in the price! If there aren't more news that can cause FUD soon, we might have a pretty nice rise in price

It would start in a month though the price has started resuming slowly. Lots of noises and incidents caused this drastic fall with all altcoins. This have caused more investors to invest now. This situation has increased the number of investors. This has turned so many towards crypto coins. This is the great sign and moment for a huge spike in prices of all altcoins.

I think the full recovery will happen around march, I hope it recovers at least back to 15-16$ by February so I can invest in some nice icos!

This is casual in every year. So you don't worry about this cryptocurrency crash. Many competitors are know about the crash. All the investors are buy more Bitcoin and altcoin in current situation. Because everything should be normal in March or April. So better you should hold your coin or buy more coin in current scenario. So don't waste the time all are buy more coin as soon as possible you also buy cryptocurrency.

you should be a little more patient and keep looking at market prices, soon the bitcoin price will rebuild. keep optimistic and do not leave a good chance to invest.

Anyone can really knows it, but I feel that it will pick up again in the next few weeks. I don't think this situation is going to last forever.

It is common to have such periods when BTC goes down. But from the past experiences, BTC shoot higher after every correction. IMO, if you believe in BTC, it is a good time for you to buy more BTC or hold.

Besides I don't think we should be so obsessed with such predictions, they are just additional pressure but there is no use of them really. It's better to have the strategy to adjust the current situation while waiting for market to recover.

no one knows when bitcoin prices will rise again. according to my judgment so far, the price depends on all the investors themselves, for example if many people buy and stock a little bit then the price will go up and vice versa, if the buyer is little and stock lot, then the price will decrease.

When will the market rpick up again? I think until a certain moment it will be filed. And suddenly it will rise. In the meantime, let's hope.

It's like artificial decline in July. Soon we will go to new ATH when whales be filled on their 9-10k positions

I don't think that we will know, but we can anticipate the potential turning points based on the charts...

No one knows when it will be up or down again but if bad news are keep on coming I think bitcoin will keeps on dropping and I think what is happening today is another correction because bitcoin grew so much last year.

my prediction the price of bitcoin and altcoin will normally on february. but i dont sure it just my prediction and i hope it will come true. because i lose my money very much  :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ and now i hold many altcoin and waiting so long.

I think that we are aroud finish day of falling down, and market should start picking up, but we will see...

When coins reach support lines they grow, people won't stop buying so the market prices falling are still corrections, there is still plenty of room for BTC to grow. I would say before the end of february we can see some 30 - 40 % increase in most coins

We can only watch the market conditions, I think no one can predict. Throughout January I monitored the unstable bitcoin. Recently I watched bitcoin down -7.72%. With this condition I recommend to buy bitcoin, not sell it. And then you have to be patient with this condition. I'm sure bitcoin and other coins will rise in price.

The whole cryptocurrency market is falling because of the falling price of bitcoins. The price of bitcoin went up sharply after it was announced that will solve the scaling problem and bitcoin will go to segwit2x. Since it became known that the modernization of bitcoin postponed indefinitely, investors began to dispose of his assets. In my opinion, yes the btc market price will bounce back but won't be having the same bull run like we experienced Q4 of 2017. This endless cycle will keep bouncing up and down, so, the recommended strategy is cost averaging method and set your goal to about 1 year before taking profit.

So there are many thoughts that the bitcoin rose artificially to 20,000. And that all this is planned. But the same is the opinion that the price of bitcoin is also reduced artificially. But still, I think that soon the price on the bitcoin will rise to incredible heights.

I heard the price of bitcoin will go down to $3000

how can you be so sure of someone you deem very skilled in the bitcoin market, maybe the person you deem very skilled does not know when exactly the bitoin price goes up and down. Because I think no one can predict when bitcoin prices go up and down, we all definitely expect the price to rise again and high. and we must also be ready to lose if at any time bitcoin prices continue to fall, because bitcin prices are not stable. and will definitely come back again when the time comes, so we must be patient waiting for the market to go up again.

According to information I read in the news of the market price will rise in the highway China or will take on the day imblek, maybe it happened, I was convinced would it, but not only the market price will rise in the day imblek but altcoins others will also be up dramatically, hopefully it will happen I really hope will it.

Be patient and take it in a positive light, this is a great time for you to buy lots of coins and get a lot of benefits over the coming months.
I am sure next month all markets will be stable and the coins will be stable and I think will go up and up.
So this incident do not make you discouraged but this is precisely the time that is perfect for you to develop your profits.
Current fluctuations are common every year so you do not worry and worry too much.

Hello Rana590, I am kind of new in this space, I am curious to understand how this marketcap correction works. I've worked and earned completing some bounty tasks. Looking at current state of markets I am holding in spite of cash crunch.
It would be great to know from any of you people about how marketcap correction works and how one can learn more.

January is historically a very bad month for Bitcoin and the price usually takes a nose dive during this month. Later in the year

things change and the price skyrocket to new record highs. So based on that and also the growth potential after the Lightning

network has been implemented, we should see a repeat of what happened in the last two or three years.  8)

I think market will pick up by March this year. This is right time to invest and wait for making money.

The market will rise in the market and when it comes to market, it will depend on the economy of the country, and if the world monetary system becomes depressed, then the market will fall. And when the recession is over, there will be a bitcoin or international currency market.

Hopefully dude. Though i don't think lightning network is an overnight thing. We may feel it's effects slowly. That means that eventually btc will regain much of it's support since it's deemed that the issues with transaction speed and high fees will be addressed. One thing u've learned while trading is that its a waiting game. You lose if you fall to fuds and impatience

True words, mate. Although it's hard to wait patiently while seeing all the red numbers, we actually have no other choice and we've learned that from our previous experiences. I myself sold 0.3 BTC when it was just a bit above $600 thinking it was a good deal. Next time I sold 0.2 when it went from $2,300 to $1,700 thinking it will go further to below $1k. Those were pretty bad decisions as I can see it now and the only thing we can do is to learn from the past mistakes.

To the OP. Yes, the market will pick up again like it always do. Similar things happened so many times in the past I can't even count them up.

Maybe in the coming June we'll see bitcoin prices go back up, and in my opinion for this month, bitcoin will play at 10k and maybe 9k ..

Who knows but one thing is for certain, it WILL pick up again. Bitcoin is quite volatile, always has been but take a look at a graph detailing the price movement since day 1, one thing is always certain - the price goes up over time.

Let expect market pick up 2nd week in February, lots of people are still taking profit, it is a norm in the space Decembe to January begining  of the year lots of people tends to take profit.

No one knows when bitcoin increases, because bitcoin can only be predicted. I think in March bitcoin will rise again.

Bitcoin market is very volatile and at that it very difficult to say when the price will rise or fall, but from what has happened in recent time it likely we are going to see a little increase on the price it may rise little above $12000 before the end of this week. Before we can see full increase in the price of bitcoin it going to take up to june-july.

Definitely bitcoin price will be increasing within few months. I have small collection of bitcoin & I don't feel any kind of hesitation to hold my coin for a long period of time. I carefully observe it's previous years history & I'm 100% sure that good new are coming very soon. I suggest you just keep patience & wait for proper time....

No one can know exactly when the market will pick up, but most definitely will happen at some point soon when the bulls are ready and the bears are worn out. Personally, I so much love the fact that we are having this correction. It is a good thing to have this now for healthy growth than to keep having a bull run as that in itself will be more like a bubble.

I don't think bitcoin will go up until/unless the scaling solution is fixed. Until then it remains nothing but a store of value and investors will look to alts as means of currency.

I think it will be up down up down for a while now.  If it went down to 5k then it would be good to buy as it would probably go up quite a lot from that.  I don't think I will buy at 11k which it is now in case it will go down again from there or not go up very much before it goes down again.

Good predictions, I'm not sure it will be that fast. probably in August BTC will rise again. By 2018 too many issues are causing BTC down. Asia is the most important part of this cycle.

Lets predict being positive here. Once the trading is closed by respective countries, i am sure bitcoin will resume back to its normal flow in a month from now. As you predict, the value should be at $20K by April or May 2018 again. The number of investors and traders would increase more and the traders closed in South Korea and in China would certainly find a door to continue their buiness either at thier home country or in any other countries which accept bitcoin. This would certainly increase the demand and value of bitcoin.

It is just the beginning of the year and it is normal for the market to go down because it is like a new beginning. There is enough time for it to go up again because the same thing happened last year when at the beginning it started slowly and just after August it started to go up very much until it reached 20.000$. No it will not take so long to get to that value and I think it will reach that price until the summer in June/July
