Title: Windows 8 preview Post by: jim618 on August 25, 2013, 11:29:04 AM I have been working away on an improved Windows installer (so that you do not have to install Java separately).
At the same time I have taken the opportunity to tidy up how MultiBit looks in Windows 8. Here is a screen shot of what I have so far: https://multibit.org/postImages/windows8.png This is fullscreen on the little Acer netbook we have for testing. The main goal is to make it look innocuous. The other operating systems will also inherit the changes. (The look and feel and things like colors will be different as they get picked up from the system you are running it on). I have the Windows 8 installer working except for the Bitcoin URI protocol handler. I expect it will be a while before this version gets out - I might put out a beta for people to test to make sure the installer works ok. Title: Re: Windows 8 preview Post by: Mike Hearn on August 26, 2013, 01:21:14 PM It looks OK but there are a lot of lines especially close together or overlapping. I feel sure it can be made to look cleaner and simpler with some fairly minor changes.
Title: Re: Windows 8 preview Post by: tclo on August 28, 2013, 08:58:33 AM I know I'm a broken record here but could you maybe add Bold type to the Active wallet. My mind still can't get used to which one is active. It's a minor issue but seems like one that could be fixed easily, this way or any number of ways
