After bitcoin transaction prices went up I mostly used only two altcoins which are LTC and DOGE because of the low transaction fee and faster confirmation time.

But others may have a different choice because they may have other altcoins more. I got more LTC and Doge coins so I usually use them to play dice game and for cricket betting still using BTC.

I think almost all gamblers will choose bitcoin to gamble in a casino, because most of cryptocurrency casino is accepting bitcoin. I choose Dogecoin and ETH because the fees is really small if you compare it with bitcoin fees and the confirmation also fast. If the bitcoin's fees reduced to the normal, i will back using bitcoin.

My favourite coin to gamble is Bitcoin but as everyone mentioned because of its slow confirmation issues I moved to DOGEcoin, LTC & ETH to play casino games.

If slowly Bitcoin network improves then I will come back to my favourite coin Bitcoin for gambling.

I've mostly switched over to Dogecoin and Litecoin for gambling. It's just so much faster to send a transaction and have it confirmed in less than 10 minutes usually.
Bitcoin's fees are currently going down quite a bit, but it's still much cheaper to just use ltc or doge instead.

I've never really been much into Ethereum, so don't use it that much. Never used Clam.

to be frank thats what I thought. a casino should offer BTC in any case and then I thought ETH, LTC and Doge would make sense to offer

I like dogecoin the most because it is mostly stable and is cheap and fast to send, even with bitcoin going down in fees dogecoin only requires 1 dogecoin right now and that is lower than any of the others I think.

I have chosen LTC and DOGE among on the choices which it do have less fees with fast confirmation which would really be suited as an option for deposits or withdrawals. Most gambling sites now are offering such option which is great. Hope it would be added into your site soon. Cheers

I think LTC and Doge are great options for gambling. Doge have very small fees, and since it's not very expensive it allows you to wager micro bets if you want to. It's also quite stable normally, so you are never "afraid" of losing value when you are not gambling. I also like LTC, since it's quite fast and the fees are reasonable. It's also a top 10 coin, so it's something I wouldn't mind trying to accumulate during my gambling sessions.

I know bitcoin fees are high, but I still voted for them anyway, even though I would probably not use it do gamble right now. The thing is, it would be strange for me to see a casino without a BTC option. Even though the fees are high, I still think it would be a very nice option for high rollers though.

Yes with bitcoins prices rising and fees going as high as 19$ it's only a matter of time before alts take over in casinos I think you should add bch to low transactions fee and quick to transact makes it a hit, then other coin I would go for is ethereum otherwise I don't like any other alts definitely not using dodge coin ever it's the shittiest coin ever made. Though currently there's a way to reduce fees in btc is by making or using a segwit address people are saying it's reducing fees.

Yeah, I would also prefer altcoins for gambling. Unfortunately, not too many casinos accept altcoins (at least yet). I found that mBit casino now accepts BCH, LTC, DOGE and Bitcoincasino.us also accepting the same ones and planning on accepting ETH soon. Have read quite detailed reviews here https://bitcoincasinoclub.net/casinos/ and then checked at the casino itself. I imagine more casinos will follow up with altcoins.

I have used btc all my life when gambling but with the sky high transfer fees I simply dislike using it now for that main deafening fact.
And it really annoys me be cause every single casino is doing it now, when it is not needed to with segwit being a reality.

I have started to use litecoin now but have not withdrawn from the casinos using it.
I deposited using an exchange wallet and the fee from there to my casino wallet was nothing compared to btc withdrawal fees of the same amount in ltc.
It was almost instantaneous while I was switching over from exchange site to the casino website.

Now just need to see how much it costs to do a withdraw when I have made enough to meet the minimum requirements to be able to withdraw from the casino. :-\

Voted for Doge and LTC, though would have voted for XMR if it was there. So far DOGE and LTC has grown pretty high and the volatility is killing it for me. I would prefer something a lot more stable. But hey, everything in the cryptoworld is quite volatile these days. I don't think it would stabilize in the near future, maybe we should gamble with Tether Dollars (USDT)? Well the best ones right now is the ones with the fastest transaction with the least amount of fees required.

Nowadays, it is pretty hard to get some bitcoin to gamble, plus its transaction fee is a little bit high and take times to be confirmed that is why many people turn out to play with altcoin instead of bitcoin
I will like to play with eth or ltc or may be some new coin, but you mentioned about rbies? What does it mean? Does moneypot already fix it? If I not mistaken, last time they said that they want to get rbies on v2 moneypot

yes I added RBIES because it would be a cheap solution to gamble with. but as it looks like the votes go for LTC, ETH and Doge

My three picks are also have two of the most voted picks! Dogecoin is very popular amongst small gamblers like myself. Maybe for us it was our first coin, maybe we liked getting tipped with Doge, maybe we also like giving it away. And it is fun, just like the people who use it. Bitcoin must always be available, if you have crypto you have Bitcoin. And my third Litecoin - this is for easy withdrawal in times of high fees, but also it is a good amount of coin to gamble easily. It is something like $200 now, which means you can still bet 1 million litoshi and it is $2, and withdrawing it is no problem.

I love to gamble with dogecoin and ETH, but as ETH price is quite volatile these days doge matches my need.

Recently I got attracted towards riablocks which have no confirmation + zero fee and no blocks that need to be mined but secure enough. You can also consider adding it in your upcoming casino.

Because of high fees as an alternative I would use litecoin and ether, if I had to choose between them I would go with litecoin.
Hopefully, lighting network will be developed before all services dump bitcoin as payment method  :-\
Hm, what do you think about stellar?*

I feel the fee getting lower and don't need to wait longer anymore for your transaction to be confirmed lately.
Everything gonna be alright , bitcoin will remain perfect for any kind online psyment activity , just the matter of time.
But of course if you have to choose an alternative , ethereum and dogecoin will be my top list , beside its popularity , both is widely used around the forum.

I like to used ltc and eth, both of them got a good confirmation speed and in other han,  both of the coins can be used as investment, so I can used it for gambling and hold it for investment, so its double advantage for me, previously I used doge to play but since the price keep on dropping I don't used it anymore, when I won with doge I don't feel winning anything because the asset I got is dropping although my doge increased

Why do they choose btc? Is it because it is the coin accepted more than other ones? I agree dogecoin is a very good one for this purpose. Not only because it is fast and transactions merely cost a thing, but also because the coin itself is very cheap, so it makes one feel better white gambling and wager less as well just as the numbers look big enough anyway. As for eth, I don't think it is such a good choice, because the transactions are not instant (they take minutes) and eth itself is an unsecure coin, so you can always end up losing it due to some bug.

In my opinion I think coins pegged to the USD dollar or EURO or YEN should be used in casinos.

Problem with Bitcoin is... its very volatile to fiat currency. Was $20K and now $10K

Problem with small cap alts... they are very volatile to bitcoin. Look at Ripple/Dentacoin/etc

There is a bad rap for tether but there are other coins like that Stablecoin token released on the ERC20 network. I think more and more casinos should eventually adopt this technology. And I think many gamblers would use it.

you're right , bitcoin price is too big so the fees are also big. I think this role suits dogecoin perfectly because there are tons of dogecoin and I think doge can become a coin of casinos.

With the current network situation, i would suggest Ethereum, Litecoin and Dogecoin. Transaction fees are very high in bitcoin, so i don't think you will attract enough "regular" users who are willing to  gamble just for fun. Dogecoin seems to a very good addition in this case. It is very cheap and fun to play with. Never heard of RBIES though.

Yes I find it complex also.

Apparently the way it works is its actually pegged somehow to ETH and it uses ETH value to 1 USD dollar.

However it was shown to not be that accurate during periods of sudden volatility.

Because I think when the markets were crashing, at one point it ended up losing 15-20% of its value (0.80 USD value) during those times.

Hence they still need to work on a few things.

Rbies is pretty well known in the past but not today, after moneypot have things to be sort of, their implementation about rbies is not be done anymore. Many of them withdraw their money from moneypot because of a little bit things around. And to make sure they need to back up this coin again, I do not think they really want to do that, even it is their main coin last time

Actually you may feel the same with all coins if the price is dropping down when you won. This is a well known risk in crypto, indeed eth and ltc may have better fluctuation but dogecoin may give you nice profit as well. To reduce the feeling of "not winning while in fact you won" because the price goes down then simply hold it till the price rise. The same occurs to all coins. Dogecoin is very good to gamble because it has very low fees compared to other coins, this is why many casinos accepts doge. If you also use it as a way to invest then you should be smart in choosing the right time to choose which coin to buy when you are going to gamble.

Which stablecoin are you talking about? there are currently 4 of them(that i know of) and more are coming lol, stablecoin/dollar-pegged coins are definitely going to improve their pegging mechanism. it would be interesting to see how they'll perform when the market goes wild.

I think eth is the way go when it comes to betting with at the casino since it doesn't cost too much to spend on the sends using gas and the value isn't that low about a tenth of bitcoins current worth.
So that would be a reasonable way to still gamble with using an alternate coin.

If I'm not wrong most small gamblers like to play with cheap coins instead of choosing with higher value coin. Also, ETH sometime got high GAS issues due to a lot of new ICO projects so I prefer LTC than ETH for gambling purpose. It's price also not that high and not hat low as well and faster transaction confirmation. But sometimes people try to use the coins which they have more coins.

I still prefer to use bitcoin though the transaction fees are really high this time, the fact that its value drops so bad these days makes it appeal to be very interesting for me as I believe when the value recover I could get more income from my earnings in casino. Ethereum and litecoin as well looks good for me, but their value is quite expensive now and I am not confident holding them will makes profit unlike with bitcoin.

Though the this is not included in option that you provided in your thread, I would like to see Waves to be included as mode of payment in these casinos throughout the internet. I definitely think that they deserve the love to be included in various online casinos as their team is always pushing forward for the technology of this coin within Russia and around the globe. Their blockchain is also faster than BTC with very low fees.  ;)

at some point I was betting a lot with Dogecoin because of a couple of reasons. mainly because it is super cheap, fast and useless. so you can just throw a lot of it away without it costing you much! and since you sometimes can bet smaller units of it (like 0.0001) it makes it easier to bet with a lower cost.
also there were a lot of faucets to easily claim some Doge quickly and get it in your gambling site address to play with them. I don't know if it is true still, since I no longer do it due to being busy.

Honestly, Just-Dice has a bit of a stranglehold on the CLAM industry... keep in mind that JD totally rocked SatoshiDice out of the #1 Bitcoin casino back in the day as well.

It is shocking however how many of the most random folks use CLAM.

Implementing shouldn't be difficult if you choose to do so.  Syncing the wallet can be a bit of a bitch, but if you use Dooglus's bootstrap... it shouldn't be that bad.

Lots of luck <3

Implementing shouldn't be difficult if you choose to do so.  Syncing the wallet can be a bit of a bitch, but if you use Dooglus's bootstrap... it shouldn't be that bad.

Lots of luck <3

thx for explanation and giving some insight. maybe I should ask dooglus

Dogecoin is quite cheaper at this point in time so I think using it in gambling will really give a long run set of games. Another is ethereum and litecoin these are all promising alts that could appreciate even higher in the future and holding them may give good returns, also bitcoin has too high transaction fees that I can automatically consider instant lost.

I think would be nice if some would keep the coins as they are, not like some sites that just give chips and convert but like you can put in 1 eth and then if you made a little you could withdraw it with the profit and not worry about if the exchange rate is lower...

In casino games I like using bitcoins because it is more convenience than other crytocurrency. You don't need  to convert your bitcoin to play games unlike other that you need to convert into chips in order to play. In addition you can also used doge because it's more cheaper than other and can use in long run. You can play many games without noticing even you are losing. You can earn more while playing different games.

My friend do use btc as he prefer it since it is very convenient for him not to convert and lose those conversion rates unnecessary. But personally I would not prefer using any of the coins because those could be potentially multiple time returns in coming future and you are losing this opportunity to make money and who knows even you would lose out those coins in gambling as well so its a double loss.

Bitcoin gambling is pretty good because this is the main currency on digital world. And if you have this, does not mean you can really earn back what you lose before. Because of its higher price, people would not play this quite often. Other altcoin will be better for some small players. Gambling bitcoin now is only for some big player with huge of bankroll that can support their loss

I like bitcoin to use for gambling especially during this time that the value are low because when you keep whatever earnings you get today, chances are it can be highly appreciated in the future. Also majority of good gambling site here uses bitcoin that's why I prefer it as my wager in a casino.

its a good choice ,but Nano is not very popular, despite being a top 50 crypto (according to the coinmarketcap)
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/nano/
the bad thing is that there are not many trusted gambling sites that are using it,pvp.me springs to mind only
luckygames has it to,I think, but there is too much controversy surrounding them lately

Well, that happens always with the best things, NANO has no fees, and no miners, so it is normal is not very popular, nobody can scam naive people with big fees or just keeping some % of coins for the Dev team as other coins do.
Nobody profit directly from NANO and that is a very important thing and why everybody should be using it.

And that is reason behind not being very popular in the crypto world because nobody win anything with NANO.

100% transparent, the best technology light years of the other "coins". That is the important thing.

I also think that bitcoin is the most convenient to be used in gambling. There are a couple of reasons why i am saying this.

1-All the online Gambling sites supports the option of using Bitcoin and you will  find alts supported in limited sites.
2-Calculation is easy in bitcoins and you ca easily calculate your profits (Bitcoin to USD)
3-Transaction fee of bitcoin is low these days so this is not much of a disadvantage.

Considering these things, i will prefer Bitcoin to Wager in Casino.

well, good points but bitcoin also has:
1.higher transaction fees compared to the majority of the crypto
2.longer time between blocks, thus longer confirmation times
3.the coin is "expensive" which doesn't allow you to try some relatively safe martingale strats that require banks of several coins

there are many altcoin alternatives that do everything bitcoin does but better, faster and cheaper
the thing is that they are not as popular as bitcoin and it is not going to change any time soon or ever

If I will play in a casino, my first pick would be btc because that's I hav3 the most but since all you saying that it is not convenient to use due to slow transaction and high fees then probably I will use eth or convert some btc to eth.

Anyway, I noticed that there is CLAM among the choices. Is it really acceptable in some casinos. I just can't believe because I thought it was a shitcoin. I got some of it last year but the problem is I already forgot where I placed it ;D.

Well, to answer your question, apart from Bitcoin, maybe Ripple.

That being said, I always invest only a small part of my assets. At the beginning, when I placed some wagers with Bitcoin I was had a feeling that I was playing with gold, so to speak, so I was being careful.

Now I like to transfer some of my savings and try to win some Bitcoin but never cross the limit by playing too much.

Its Ethereum. And to determine if the value is high or not, you should look at the market capitalization, not the price =p.

Anyway, in my opinion, BTC ETH and LTC are the best options. But any coin that is largely accepted in exchanges and could be easily traded to BTC would be ok for a gambling site. As the most important is the possibility to quickly convert it to BTC and then to Fiat when needed.

You were right, commonly used in gambling site is Bitcoin. They prefer on this coin because it is easier to withdrawn and having a fast transaction as well. So, I also in favor of using Bitcoin than other altcoins.
Ethereum is one another option to use in gambling or casino it is also having very low fees.

Sometimes the delay of transaction made me confuse about the ethereum and the stability of this coin is questionable since it goes high and low and by this eventhough you won your prize will still depreciated if the value drops, So by this I prefer the stable coin like USDT since it is stagnant and safe for volatility.

USDT?
Then we are just likely playing into a fiat based casino on this case. This is why we are seeing lots of crypto gambling sites due to demand.Players are willing to win with these altcoins and volatility
can potentially either earn or loss them money. They are well-awared on such scenario so its much better to stay up on this option.

Depends on the casino to be honest with you. For example if I am going to play dice, I would prefer stuff like eth or litecoin because it is much better to see your thousands of satoshis or even 1+ eth go bigger or smaller. Whereas it makes no sense to play with 100 satoshi or even less.

Hence, even doge gives me more pleasure while gambling on dice games than bitcoin since doge is just pure bliss when it comes to numbers, I could play 10+ thousand doge and it would still worth nothing. However when it comes to poker for example I prefer something more solid, maybe not bitcoin but definitely ethereum at least, doge wouldn't be fun there. If I am gambling on sportsbooks tough, its definitely just bitcoin and nothing else. So as you see what coin I want changes according to what I play.

I used to play with Bitcoin. During the past 2 months, I prefer betting with TRX. The reason why I do so is firstly, the confirmation time happens in just a few seconds and secondly, I play directly from my wallet by using a chrome extension (TronLink) and earnings are credited to it instantly. Given that, I am not afraid that the casino is going to close while I am sleeping and I would not have time to withdraw my balance.

But still there is difference on every person when it comes to gambling, some of them want to choose this and that on their method on gambling but as far as I know everything will be the same. If you see in your point of view, then I must say that you are seeing numbers but most of people are seeing some value when they gambling, like may be $100 instead of choose X coin because it will not be the same on every single one

Seriously the increase in the price of bitcoin which always leads the high transactions fee is killing when one want to deposit a little amount into a gambling sites to play a little game, because bitcoin is the most popular crypto most gambling sites accept except for the few who except ethereuem and any other altcoins. I like using ETH because of it low transaction fees.

It all depends on what coin I have available for gambling, or if what coin do they accept on their site. I also consider the transaction fee since bitcoin price depends on the current price, so most likely I do not gamble with my bitcoin during this time. That is why I sometimes prefer casinos who have their own coin which can be paid via fiat/credit.

Bitcoin will be the top for all investor due to its popularity and price. Mostly casino accept bitcoin. About me i would like to chose dogecoin since the fee is to much low as compare to bitcoin's fee. Alt coins has faster confirmation. I think people who use bitcoin for gambling will move to alt due to increasing of its fee

The bitcoin will only make me wait for a long time because I don't think that it will receive faster than litecoin and dogecoin. Bitcoin, Eth and if I need a 3rd one then it will be Litecoin. I prefer coins that are stable. Not really that much compared to fiats but those 3 are far better than most crypto coins out there.

I take my vote to litecoin and dogecoin because the transaction was very fast for me and so far, I don't have any problem with those coins. The bitcoin will only make me wait for a long time because I don't think that it will receive faster than litecoin and dogecoin. But I admitted that many of us like to use bitcoin because they can win so much bitcoin especially if they are lucky on that day.

Yeah i agre. Especially doge. I'm actually surprised that it' lagging behind btc and eth in the poll results lol. This dog coin parody is a favorite when making quite exchange to exchange transfers because of it's quick completion rate and it's more suited for non business transactions like gambling. That's my personal view of it.

All the three coins on your list are very volatile. ETH and LTC are even more volatile than Bitcoin. If you want to go for a stable coin, then you should go for either Tether (USDT) or TrueUSD. But I prefer BTC or BCH, while making the deposits.

Dont know on what he do looks when we do talk about between volatile and stable ones. Those 3 are never been stable so i dont see the point why he do talk about stability.
When it comes to wagering then DOGE will be preferable when you are tending to have longer runs or playtime due to value that you can set out but when it comes on seeking direct
valuable or high priced crypto then BTC is a usual choice.

I always thought clam is very popular for gaming but has not even 1 vote

In past maybe clam only popular when people can claim it with old blockchain wallet. But not much site that use it in gambling currency like BTC, Doge, Or ETH. That is why it is not on vote maybe.

as BTC Price is quiet high and especially the fee I would like to ask

With which coin a player would like to gamble in a casino?

please let me know (serious) if you want me to add another coin

after the Bitcoin I will go with ethereum because it had the probably good value and also good stability while we are using it so I prefer to invest an ethereum every time after the Bitcoin especially when come to Kasi no investment you will need to put some better amount to gain huge profit.
If i were you i would use another altcoin instead of Bitcoin, i would rather keep it for future investment.
There are lots of available and good altcoins to use when gambling in a casino.
You don't have to risk the coins that have a potential for long term investment.

All coins that are accepted on most casinos are all have a potential but why would you only keep bitcoin ?  Why not keep them all for long term investment ?  the reason why some people do gamble is because of profit  . they want to earn big  . you can only do that in a more faster way if you will only use bitcoin because its obvious that bitcoin got a large value compare to other coins out there  .
