You ruined it with "hedge fund manager" - no way am I going to listen to one of those about bitcoin.

I've watched Brian Kelly talking about bitcoin like almost every day and he's been bullish on it pretty much since he learned about it, which was not that long ago. He was telling people to buy up around $17k too. Also if I remember correctly (although it's possible I'm mixing him up with another analyst here) he was bullish on SNAP after their IPO, which was a clear mistake even at the time.

Yeah because all they think about is how to gain profit for themselves and those hedge fund managers are expert at using others in order to gain a hefty sum of money for their own good. Still, they made the right call when they say that it is one of the best time to invest in crypto because I believe it will reach 35000$-40000$ before the bubble pops and see price plunge down.

Everyday is always best time for me in investing bitcoin, for as long as I have spare money that I can use for investing I don't mind the price, not waiting for it to down as I am always looking forward to a positive outcome and not praying that bitcoin could down, I know that the current price now is not the end so I can earn profit no matter what the price for as long as I won't sell it at its low price.

you know what, the funny thing about investing in bitcoin is that it doesn't matter how many people and who says it is a good or even bad idea to invest in bitcoin. nobody listens until it is too late.

if they say it is good, nobody buys.
if they say it is scam, nobody sells.

but as soon as a rise starts they rush to buy.
and as soon as a dip starts they rush to dump.
... always too late.

There'll come a time when their opinion is worth a listen. These people are up to their ears in real world markets. Crypto will eventually be consumed by these markets. That time is happening now.

Fair enough, but these people are the ones with the capital at present. There are plenty of self proclaimed purists here secretly waiting for the right pile of dollars to run for it.

Agree, these people migrate to where the big money making opportunities are. Looking at the price, just over $11,000 bitcoin is a serious place to make a shit tonne of money.

First there is.. does the hedge fund manager know anything about bitcoin. Does he know how the code works, how the network works,  and how a fork would affect it, etc.

Real world events have 100x less impact than bitcoin related events.

Second there is.. Is the hedge fund manager being honest or talking his book?

If youre bullish at 11K thats fine but has nothing to do with the hedge fund manager.

And they're actually making sense. Most experienced trades would definitely agree with them as well that at this point in time, if there's a good time to.buy btc, its now. Once btc recovers from this dip, we may not see this chance again.

His opinion about the matter is very common, I'd say, but he has a point on investing when everyone is throwing away their bag of gold in fear of the gold corroding into something less valuable later on. That's what bitcoin was before and what it is right now; everyone shouting "bitcoin's bubble has been popped" without even checking out the all-time charts while the smart ones buy all their "trash" from them. Not the best of advice, but certainly worth noting even if it came from a hedge fund manager.

I don't think there is any 'good' time to buy Bitcoin. In the long run, if Bitcoin is really successful, it won't matter whether you bought Bitcoin at $10k or $12k. The best strategy would be to invest in small amounts (which you can afford to lose) at regular intervals. That way, you tend to average out your purchase price.

Nice to hear this from an experienced traders and hedge fund manager . Some of us has saying the same thing here and I will repeat it again that now provides the best opportunities for one to buy Bitcoin and some others coins with high market cap like Ethereum and ripple as you can actually get them at a very cheap price now.

People get into crypto and they're so afraid to buy dips that I get really confused. I don't understand why you'd get into Bitcoin or any crypto if you're working with money that you don't think you'll lose. Everything is a gamble, all you can do is be safe and maybe enjoy some profits if you're smart enough.

Right now is a great time to buy. We're at a low and so are most altcoins. The next time we see a big rise upwards, people will say that they missed out on it, and that's the shame of it all. They don't realize that they could've gotten into the coin if they actually tried to.

all they need to know (which is also kind of obvious) is that you can manipulate bitcoin because of large number of newbies who are invested in it. you just have to have a good timing, that is all.

a simple FUD by a well known bankster (J. Dimon) caused a dip and let them buy a shit load of bitcoin at ultra cheap prices. obviously now everyone wants in. everyone soon will start having an opinion about bitcoin and by extension altcoins. you can see that ranking bullshit by Weiss as an example of one...

Price is really low right now as bitcoin has lost over 50% of its price within a month or two, so we can expect a bigger bull run when all this fud will be over. South korean will not ban crypto trading for sure which they have officially announced so there is nothing other than just panic and whales manipulating price to buy cheap bitcoins right now keeping price low.

Trying to believe in this Bitcoin Televangelist was very common knowledge for every elite bitcoin investors even though he has a point in saying to buy right now because the price is in a lower state and we must gain the upper hand in looking at it in the buying side, But I really think everyone knows that and speculating even back then that bitcoin's price gonna pump up to the $20,000 mark value.

Bitcoin has remained a favourite asset for me since i have been involved in crypto market. I do not notice such hedge fund manager's advises and predictions because i remember when bitcoin was $900 in december 2016, same predictions came on internet from this person, what happened then?
Bitcoin grew up to $19000 and those predictions was proven wrong. Do not trust their predictions, just keeo investimg in bitcoin

Welp his job is to hype people. You know - the more people buy BTC the higher the price will go.

That's what I agree with the most. When everyone is saying that bitcoin's rise is probably over and when the haters are out roaming again, you know that the price is low and you can start to buy some bitcoins again. That time is now. The price is barely over $10k with a lot of potential to grow still.

You don't buy when the bulls are saying bitcoin is going to 10x in a year again, because that means the market is overhyped.

It should be obvious to the rational player in this market, but some people are too scared of bitcoin going downhill from now. Just think of this - it has already went downhill around 50%. If it was supposed to go down even further, then why has there been stability over the past week?

The reason for that is that most people tend to see themselves as exceptional and not as average, this is why in many surveys when they are asked how intelligent they are 90% thinks they are above average when that is impossible, so when people invest in bitcoin they think they made a perfect decision and if the market goes down they panic and sell and instead of admitting their own mistakes they think bitcoin is a fraud.

I don't understand why they need someone to tell them that BUY today or its the right time to buy.

They worry about the losses and getting afraid of buying more.

There is nothing that will beep them saying " I am the lowest price for now and start buying ".

Then when it starts to rise, everyone will go saying " it will go to the moon "

You don't have to be a hedge fund manager to realise that there's an extremely big opportunity right now. Personally I feel like $10K per bitcoin is still severely undervalued. People tend to always cry they 'missed the train' once we're pushing all time highs but when new opportunities hit the surface people are fearful and lack confidence. I'm sure a lot of people will be kicken themselves for not seizing this opportunity.

See, they also advice to buy some bitcoins now that the price drops down because they know the upcomming bubble is right ahead. There are just posters who confused newbies not to buy bitcoin. I see it , if all of us will advice to buy low sell high , and we convince newbies to buy, also us to buy, bitcoins value will increase. Some kind of a good manipulation in here.

agrred. The problem is the man is very motivated to get people to invest now and get the market back up. He probably is loosing millions of dollars now, unlike the most of us who are losing play money. If was loosing a fortune, I would say whatever I had to say ......

Now I believe is actually the best time to buy bitcoin and others cryptocurrency especially if you have a long term view. Bitcoin has been felling in price since the beginning of this year and we don't know how long this will last as many people are selling out of panic and fear that bitcoin may fall further down world and they may lose part of they investment. I think if you are a long term investors now provide the best opportunity for one to get bitcoin at the cheapest price.
