It's still possible, but not so easy as it was ten years ago. Don't use bad looking sites with tons of ads. Be careful with web-based wallets and you will be good.

Yes, is it possible. I think it is very easy for hacker group to hack into your computer. Just don't download any free software, don't read the email / download something that you don't know, don't random access to any URL that you don't know and don't use free WIFI !

Yes. Don't install/download any software that you don't know / free. Most of the hacker will attack from that way .

Don't visit porn sites and never download anything that looks suspect.  Avoid teamspeak as well because people can get your ip address.

Like others have said - stay away from illicit websites and don't click links or open attachments in emails. Also make sure you have a a good anti-virus application and add MalwareBytes to your computer. Do NOT use Kaspersky antivirus. Enable the computer's firewall, and have a good firewall on your Internet connection (I recommend Sophos firewalls). Stay safe out there!

If you use a router, then it is necessary to change the password from the built-in admin account. You can google how to change admin password on your device.

I think you must ask professionals about this kind of questions. Read thematic guidelines. Random people can advice totally wrong things.

Just stay away from sites that have such a bad reputation, or perhaps unknown websites. Also be careful on what you are clicking, try to distinguish a bogus link from a legit link. Never open an executable (.exe) file not unless it came from a trustworthy server, try checking on it's details first and see it the file size or parameters match it's supposed attributes. You can also try transferring your important files and documents on another separate or perhaps external hard drive to further your security and peace of mind. Invest in a robust antivirus also.
