Hi Everyone, i have 550$ to invest in Crypto. I know, its not really much but its a beginning. Do you have any Ideas in which coins is the money most appropriate? I thought at Xspec, is there any chance that he get high? Thanks for help  :)

You can use your money in investing or trading as long as you know how to operate them you can watch the youtube videos you want to learn from these programs.

I would suggest splitting the amount, and invest in ETC, BTC and some alternative cryptos.

I'd like to recommend you invest half of it in Etherium and half in sevaral promising altcoins. Go to coinmarketcap an choose 3-4 coins, and of course remember about risks.

Xspec has potential to grow in the future,it could be a good competitor to XMR,but first you  will need to do some research first because there are thousands of coins out there most of them are worthless coins,and for you to find which is which coin would be a worthy investment.As a newbie we should try to learn the basics,the behaviour of the market so we can easily adopt to this community,my friend told me to start reading every coin's background and learn some basic technical analysis at investopedia,try it.

This is what I would do. Doesn't mean it's right or that you should do it... 50% in BTC, 25% in ETH, 10% IOTA, 5% EOS, 5% Jesus Coin, 5 % OMG

for tong term bitcoin, thats best coin in market. for short term NXT, Waves, bitcoincash, for short term in here you will doing daily traders, you can earn profit every day from daily traders

With $550 you can buy a lot of promising coins which cost less than a dollar. Try to avoid shitcoins form the top 10 of the CMC like Ripple, Cardano as they either don't have a working product or pumped enough to reach that high which will eventually crash.

Everyone has their own views and speculation for investing. From my perspective I would invest in NEO instead of Ethereum as I see a good run for it in 2018 as many ICO's are launching. Some other worthy mentions would be XRB, IOTA, ARK, PRL, ICX, VEN. Again these are only my speculations. It is better if you go through the whitepaper and decide for yourself if any coin is worth investing.

Well, for that money you would just get ~50 DeepOnions. Although I'm a huge opponent of this coin, it would actually allow you to participate in the weekly dividend payments for 10 more weeks or so to come. Thus potentially doubling your investment.

I think, you can invest to ICO's that began or finished doesnt matter. If you trust the coin just invest. You should invest Ethereum, OmiseGO , Rawcoin  and 0x.

Ethereum, IOTA, NEO, eBITCOIN and some unknown / risky coin that can rise in value very quick and by high percentage. I suggest eXRN.

Percentages of each depend on your idea of dividing the portfolio into more and less risky investments. Ethereum, Iota & Neo are less risky. It's like traiditionally dividing the portfolio into stocks and bonds, bonds being less risky. Of course, with crypto everything is risky, but I think we can safely say they have a stable trend for the time being.

i recomend you to divide you money into btc, eth and some alt coins. you can check on coinmarketcap to search information about the listed coins and choosing some coins there. i remembered that some my friends told me to deep research before investing , studying about the of coin you want to invest it, and behaviour the market and learning about a little technical anylisis when you trade.  ;)

My recommendation is CyberMiles. It is an undervalued asset with a great potential in future growth. ICO ended in 24 hours and many investors couldn't participate. Binance is a great exchange to grab some.  ;)

if you are so new that you have to ask this questions from random people on the internet then it is not the best idea for you to invest in altcoins! because you seem unfamiliar with this market and because of that your chances of loss are huge.

instead try to stick to smaller investment and bitcoin only and then slowly watch the altcoins and decide for yourself which coin to invest in after you saw at least 20 of them rise up and crash hard after they pumps were done. so that you know what you are dealing with here.

Oh in my opinion you should invest that in bitcoin because bitcoin is the most easiest and most popular crypto evryone known so its so easy for it to get higher in investing

I would split the capital ($ 550). So you reduce your risk, but also your possible profit. You could invest in BTC (maybe $ 200), Ripple ($ 150), XLM ($ 100) and the rest ($ 100) in TRX.
Currently, all coins have a price decline. So for you, that means you get a lot more coins for your money than a month ago.
I think slowly the prices are rising again and the correction of the market will soon find its end. But you have to be sure that you can handle it, that you could lose the money.
If you are not sure, I would refrain from investing in your place. It is also important that you keep your coins long and have the power to hold the coins long.
Panic sales make you lose more money than you can win. If you make the investment, do not be tempted by a temporary price erosion. Do sports in time or follow other hobbies.

Personally, I think Rise has a potential although lisk and rise have similarities but I still go for rise.. I like the platform and base on my research. Reasons to invest in RISE: Blockchain Incubator, Mobile app store, fast and easy to use wallet, staking, low market cap. All in all RISE is great!!!

You can invest all in to NEO. NEO is safe heaven for crypto and will gain more value in near future.
Also there is ethereum which is already gained enough value.

splitting your money among multiple altcoins is a good idea as someone suggested it above, but to be honest i can't see how a beginner is going to do that. specially since OP can not yet make his own investment decisions.

so far the coin that OP chose is so random which makes me wonder if he really has some money and wants to invest or is he just advertising that coin. i guess we will find out soon after seeing whether or not he comes back to make any more posts more than the ONLY 1 he made and ran away...

Divide that money in to 2 or 3 different coin that has strong fundamental and just listed in the market so you get cheap price and the price will be has posibility to going up multiple, in my opinion these coin/token is Indahash, Utrust and Bitdegree. Buy those token and hold it a few month so will be promising good return later.

It depends on how you like to invest means for long term or short term. If you want to invest for short term then there are many coins which are being traded daily and can give good profit. But for the long term, you need to do research on coins and then invest in them.

Well given the amount you want to invest in, I say that what you're trying to find is a good return short term investment. Although I have read and read some good stuff about Xspec, I think it doesn't fit the criteria of the amount you want to invest in plus the amount of the coin itself. At the moment, it plays around 3.68 dollars per coin give or take, thus, if you would give out that 550 dollar investment, you can't get that much, plus even if there is good return, it might take a minimum of maybe 4-6 months. I would suggest choosing coins that are lower in value, I think, right around a dollar or lower would be a better choice.

You can do your research for your investment. It's either you want a long term or a short term investment. For long term investment, I could suggest Eth, IOTA and NEO. For short term investment, I could suggest Deeponion, Bitcoinwhite and KemCredit.

I would say go with either NEO, XRB or XML.

There are many altcoins you can choose from in the coinmarketcap . But before buying those coins make sure you make an intensive research  so that you will have no regrets when the price goes down during market correction.

Hi you can go on solids project like ETH / ETC / NEO / OMG / WAVES / ARK, you will minimize the risk but you have to be patient

If this thread was posted before 2017 ends i will tell you go with TRON (TRX) but as TRON graph is just a pump and dump now, that will be a big risk for your money.
UTRUST TOKEN "UTK" are really down now though it is almost 100 times the ICO price it is advisable to have their token and HODL for a month-long or two. they are still getting ready for the HITBTC ENTRY and the app will be released on March, it is better to buy now on DIP and HODL.

Waves is probably the only one which I would invest in right now as ETH and other networks are currently congested.

First of all DYOR, when things take a deep dive you will feel much more comfortable having invested in something you yourself believe in.
For me those are OMG and WTC. It also all depends on how much risk you're willing to take, with chances of reaping higher rewards.. (INT forexample is currently high risk/high reward)

Would be a good idea to split it into different alt coins. ETH/Waves/Litecoin are really popular these days but of course, don't actually invest without doing some research on your own. ;)

This is good investment to buy into different coins and investing any amount to start. Like eth, waves, and neo these are on the top of my lists. It has a solid projects and yes patient for us to earned profit. Lastly, the best idea really is not focus only in one coin to be safe.

Split in entire top 10. But keep 150 left for small ones that could grow very big:

50 in sonm
50 in xspec
50 in onion

Just copy th top 10 on coinmarketcap.com, you will double your investment and probably earn much more than in other coins.

With the limited amount of 550$, it is better to invest in the altcoins that's looks a pretty good idea, as altcoins cost less than bitcoin. Eth could be the coin to look for the investment apart from that other coins like Neo, NEM and IOTA are also can be considered for the investment.

If you want to invest now, I think you should invest in ETH, this is a very appreciated currency, and in the future can replace the BTC. This spot is also ranked second after BTC. It is expected that the ETH could increase to $ 5000 in 2019. Good luck

In my view, Stellar, SXDT and Bitclave are potential to invest now. they are cheap now and you should buy them, hold for few months.

Nobody can answer this question without knowing:
1. Term for which you are going to invest
2. How much you are psychologically resistant to the possible drawdowns of your portfolio.
3. How much you are willing to risk total or partial loss of this capital.
First of all, answer these questions to yourself and study coins yourself before buying them.

I would advise you to invest $ 150 in etherium and bitcoin, $ 150 in NEO, EOS, XRP and IOTA and $ 100 in new ICO from the category of finteh. But in any case, you risk and the responsibility for the decision lies exactly on you.

Having this kind of money, you got to be wise in any decision you are making and that is why you must make research on the suggested coin, like being said I will join in saying you should divide the money and invest in BTC,  ETH and other top altcoins.

I suggest perhaps starting with a coin that is either just starting out as in it's at a low buy in so that you can watch it take off or you may want to go with a coin that's already shown significant growth as it's likely to continue it's current trajectory. Something like NEO or maybe one of the newest NEO sidechains. In either event you can just stuck with the tried and true currencies like btc or eth sell high and buy back at the dips.

To maximize the profit and to know more about opportunity of invesment in cryptocurrency for the better use that money to make investment in 2 different kind of investment, i mean 50% of that use to make invest in popular coin like ETH, DASH, WAVES, OMG. And 50% more use to make invest in ICO because many ICO that promising high profit and in ICO you can get cheap price of token and the price has possibility to increasing by multiple. So just do it all that thing to become more expert in crypto world.

You can invest in Ethereum Blue, REBL or ELTCOIN, I am very much sure all of them will bloom and you will earn some decent profit through them.

according to all the rules, you need to take the top 10 rating and proportionally scatter this amount on them , but only the entrance to the exchange is very expensive or go to the exchange that work with world currencies

Hopefully, you'v done your market research and seen the trends, what works and what doesn't. having said that, id advice Ethereum as a first investment choice, this is a coin with strong market presence and potential to be a force to recon in future. id also suggest XMR and Waves, they are positive and promising projects that are yet to be fully exploited and good for investment.
Remember these are suggestions, look deep into the projects and decide which ones suit your investment goals.

l would suggest to invest in Ether and Bitcoin because Ethereum is an open software platform based on blockchain technology that enables developers to build and deploy decentralized applications.And now a days you can see many many ICO coming with Ethereum platform.And the bitcoin is the mother currency of all crypto and its evergreen currency so far. And for other coins you can go for Steller, Cardano,  GVT, IOTA, RIPPLE, and NEO.

It's better to do research by yourself. But if you want my advice, you can try top ten coins on coin market cap.
I think it's better rather than join an ICO. (if you are a beginner)

If you have small investment you should split it into multiple coins like,BTC,ETH,XRP,ADA,NEO.For long term you should choose BTC & ETH and hold it till the time when the prices are good so that you can earn handsome earning.For short term investment you should prefer XRP,ADA,NEO as these are considered to be good coins for short term on daily trading.Prices of all the coins are on decline and the market is in price correction phase.if you are losing money in one coin,surely you will be getting profit in other coins,So its advisable to split your investment into multiple coins.

I highly recommend you go for a research. Check the roadmap, whitepaper and the team behind the project. Don't just hope for the right answer.

you can invest in a coin, or you can and bounty company. Find a great promising company, and act. but there is a risk, both in the purchase of coins and in the investment of the company

invest some ICO and trashcoin, low price coin. For me you can buy some coin form potential Project has done their ICO fews day on exchange and hold until moon (You should read their project carefully first)

I would have love to suggest coins such as ETH and NEO but with that amount, you can can't even get one ETH. I suppose you spend on some Altcoins below and a little bit over $1. This include coins such as Storm, Xrp, MAN, and some other ones which are promising. Just do your research especially from experts in the community, so you won't invest in shitty coins and have yourself to blame later.

I would advise you against putting it all in only one crypto. Try to spread it between 2 or 3 different alts.
I suggest you check out Waves, it has a great technology and is really undervalued at the moment.

What about 50% of it in ETH/BTC (pretty safe bet).
