Honestly the boom, bubble and bust is inevitable; it is the history of innovation and changes. But where are we in that cycle in regards to cryptocurrencies? I believe we are still early in the process.
Trees don’t grow to the skies–so goes the old investor saying. The idea is that there is always a top to any boom or bubble and while “to the moon” is a great motto, it is not a likely outcome.
So what do you think ?

I think that we will reach the top of the bubble for at least 2-3 years. The market of crypto-currencies should reach a capitalization of 4-5 trillion dollars.

according to my analytics in 2018 bitcoin alone will surely be the highest bubble at the price of $ 18,000,000 and like its bitcoin will be new look and reach its peak for the highest price waiting between 2-3 years ahead

bitcoin will rise when there is only good news from big countries that affect the movement of digitial currencies like bitcoin imagine in 2017 yesterday I see there is good info about bitcoin in some countries and make the price rise very much and make the person holding the bitcoin from the past make rich at this time, so for the year 2018 we just wait for good news from bitcoin and better buy bitcoin for your availability and save bitcoin you have. Which you mentioned bitcoin bubble can be said like that but for old players I believe it is just a joke.

I would say we are fairly far along the road but still with a long way to go. In 2018 I don't think the price will soar too high, right now I would be happy to see 20k again by year end, in expectation I think we'll reach maybe 30k or so.

             The market experts say that 2018 will be a good year for the bitcoin . Their study and analysis come to the conclusion that the bitcoin price can shoot up to ten fold or more with the present market value. Because bitcoin is legal to the most of the industrially developed countries such as USA .UK,Canada, Australia, Belgium ,Japan , Germany, Denmark,Brazil, France and Italy etc. For the business people bitcoin will be the most suitable one for their business transactions mean time it is a good asset for the investment and its transaction fee is very minimum and the transaction time also less .In such a circumstance more business people are attracted to bitcoin and hence its price can flair up.

I think Bitcoin price (https://coincodex.com/crypto/bitcoin/) can go up to $20,000 - $30,000 this year. Altcoins (https://coincodex.com) will be gaining more I think.

We cannot be sure about the range of how high will the price of bitcoin will be. If we take a look at last year, the price last year was just playing around 4K USD to 6K USD but then it reached 10K USD and above and the graph from there was just straight upward until 20K USD. This price was really high and you can see that this happened in the last part of 2017. If this happens again then maybe it will stabilize around 8K USD to 12K USD and receive a sudden increase in price that will surpass 20K USD but all of this are speculations waiting to happen.

There's not really too much of a ceiling, I guess within the wildest of expectations you'd say the ceiling would be about 100k. Ultimately we cannot be sure, I suspect we'll probably approach the previous ATH later in the year and settle somewhere around 25-30k.

Making prediction on cryptocurrency is one stupid thing people should stop.
This prediction is causing a lot of harms already, must people put in their life savings into Crypto when they hear of some stupid predictions like "price will soon moon" and
After they have invested all their money and price did not moon,  when the reverse is case, you hear they shouting Crypto ruin my life.

bitcoin is always surprising, we never know what will happen next. in my prediction in this year bitcoin will not increase significantly, may be $ 20K is possible value but I not sure if bitcoin will reach more than 20k.

i just think the 2018 worth of BTC will be the best. The hopes are high. Watch out

Third comment of that kind in broken english, saying bitcoin will see no new peak for the next years. Would really like to know the intention behind those.

Of course, we can't be sure that sooner or later it will not end. But not this year and not next year. That's for sure. In the near future, there will be bitcoin growth in the range of 13-15 thousand, it's my opinion.

Firstly BTC is unpredictable,its pretty difficult to give exact figure for Its price to be high.Its being speculated that 2018 would be another stellar for BTC price.Based on BTC crash analysis its is always figured out that it bounce back with full power and attain high level.If you got to Youtube watch different economist`s view,its being speculated that it will cross $30k in 2018,its not exact it may go above or down to this figure,some people even think that it would touch $50k.New investor will be attracted and high investment is expected in coming few months,which will give upward pull in price.Lets see.

It may go as high as 50000 dollars, but first we should pass the 9500 dollars. After that we may enter into another bull market that can take prices into high values.

It actually depends, normally bitcoin price takes a dip during the first quarter of the year and goes bullish on the 2nd and quarter of the year. I have started investing on bitcoin last year and have witnessed how it came from $2,000 up to it's ATH at $20,000. Maybe, it will follow the same pattern and might even surpass it's ATH last year.

It unpredictable but my idea it will cross the all previous record and touch $50000 milestone.

Despite the negative forecasts that seem to prevail in many so-called "specialists" or "experts", I am convinced that bitcoin is better positioned than ever to resume its bullish trend sooner than many imagine, because I think its prestigious team of developers  are making considerable efforts to implement the necessary improvements to make it competitive and flexible again. The great advantage that gives it its enormous popularity worldwide will always be an encouragement for people to remain interested in bitcoin and that is why I believe in the bright future of bitcoin, which only this year will allow it to reach $40,000 without any problem.

That's not easy to say about the price in 2018 of Bitcoin. My assumption it will more than $30000 in 2018.

 My prediction of bitcoin price in the year 2018 is for the value to be at $20,000 but not less than 18,000 and the end of the year.

How high? Um.. I don't know, last year people predicted $3,000 and we saw $20,000.
So let's say we predict $20,000 ; we may go till 30,000. At least that's my random assumption /speculation or whatever. But these opinions or assumptions doesn't matter, cause demand and supply forces are the ones that really make a difference. Think about it.

I think that bitcoin price cannot be predicted. I think this is a characteristic of bitcoin which makes it fascinating and appealing to many persons. In my prediction I see that the price by year end can reach easily the 50.000 dollars and why not even 100.000 dollars. I say this based on the price increase during year 2013, it can do the same at the end of 2018, going from 9500 to 100.000 dollars.

I think it will hit 22000 not even much. I hope McAfee prediction is true n his numbers are right. Seems like bitcoin rise in unison with alts. If McAfee is right so are his privacy coin statement is right

Yes this is going to happen soon, because in the last year we all have seen bitcoins were not welcomed in such a fantastic manner. But just see the price rates at the end of year that was astonishing. They were jumping like frogs and crossing so many thousands within a day. And we hope for such a charismatic response from bitcoins that they may reach $30k this year.

There is no definite answer how far bitcoin price will go but many are speculating that there's a huge rise ahead for the value of it. The recent circulating bad news in crypto led to decreased in price due to the users who panic sell and cutting their losses. Currently it seems coins were gaining there value and if more investors starting to trust again in btc, we can expect a surge in price in the coming days, although we cant certainly predict when this will going to happen.

Honestly I can not answer your question. Why? because on the basis of its bitcoin it is hard to predict and hard to guess. We just need time, Bitcoin is always surprising, we never know what will happen next.

I have to agree with this. There's been too much bad press and FUD spread so far and it's halted the train so to speak. I'd gladly accept a period now of slow, sustainable growth for a year or so whilst the world continues to catch up with the positives of cryptocurrencies.

for me, I consider this year (2018) is the year of sales correction, I don't expect too much pump/growth at this year, and also I don't want to stock in just one top leading crypto currency that cant gives/create/generate a good profits. so asides of holding bitcoin, while waiting for the another year of success, I am rolling my finger tips into some other coins/tokens that can grow in moment, because bitcoin price wont hike like what we saw before at this year.

In btc there is no cap on both top and bottom it can go any point, it won't be surprise for me. I would expect that btc will be around its current levels or below for 2018 in general of course. It fluctuates a lot.

I think bitcoin prices are not high yet in the bitcoin market fluctuations are increasing day by day. You can not be sure of the bitcoin price in 2018, but the bitcoin price may be higher than last year and may reach $ 50,000 although I'm not sure when.

If the negative news about bitcoins reduces along the year, bitcoins can end the year with a price of 25000 usd to 30000 usd. But if government and regulators still remains tough on bitcoins, then the price will still be under 10000 usd.

First of all, let us just say that the moon differs from one person to another. For some, especially years ago, Bitcoin in $10,000 is moon already. For some, in the years to come, it is around $50,000. So moon is relative. My moon though is around $500,000. If Bitcoin reached that level, I would finally say that it has already reached the moon.

Everything's going to end. That is certain. Even the earth and sky will end. So does a tiny invention of a particular man, whose real personal identity we do not even know. The thing here is that Bitcoin will not go away for the next several years. I believe it has not yet even reached its highest peak.

There is no guarantee on what Bitcoin's future price will be. So setting up big target expectations like 50,000$ and 100,000$ is really not worth it as you will lose your advantage when it comes to planning in the short term. Even if Bitcoin will reach 50,000$ per coin you must be realistic that it won't happen overnight and you must accept that corrections will be on that road. My suggestion is for you to set up short term targets in order for you to accumulate more Bitcoin when it is correcting. By doing so you are not making your position in idle as it is growing with your trade.

Now the market going green and already reach $10000 in middle of february and for next couple month i believe will reach $20000

In my point of view, now bitcoin is starting to recovering and you could see now today bitcoin price has good $9900. But bitcoin has come from $19000, But i have good thinking about 2018 for bitcoin. In this year hopefully we will see bitcoin at least $25000, and In March bitcoin will go to high and within 6 months we will see bitcoin recover its price almost.

bitcoin will only grow this year, we are now in an uptrend and we are waiting for exponential growth! Most likely we will see soon and $ 50,000 and even $ 100,000, but you should always be prepared that any growth is going down, as we have observed recently, everything is cyclical!

I can not exactly predict how the bitcoin price in 2018 is, but I think the price will remain stable in the first third of the year and it will only increase quite a bit in the second quarter and by the end of 2018 I believe the bitcoin price will peak

Rises still very much, I think. In the future, it will fall again and increase again. This is common.

I believe it is likely we hit 50K, however i dont think thats sustainable and we will see tons of volatility both leading up to, and after that milestone.

I predict the price of btc in 2018 will continue to rise up to 13k in view of the many of the interests of investors who invest their money on btc. may even be higher again the price spike that will occur in 2018.

How high can it go this year? I predict that yearly high for 1 btc will be exactly 1 btc and yearly low will be 1 btc. A lot of optimistic investors believe that nitcpin would go as far as $50k by the end of 2018. However, as an investor, I want to be realistic and ready for worst-case scenarios. It is very hard to accurately predict bitcoin's value in the future because it is highly volatile in terms of value. In fact it's so volatile that it could go from 0-100 and 100-0 really quick. It's okay being optimistic as long as you are not putting your hopes up very high. Especially with bitcoin who has a very unpredictable price.
