Title: Unable to send via blockchain
Post by: Jimboneutron on January 25, 2018, 03:45:47 PM
Hey everyone,

I've been having a ridiculous amount of issues with blockchain wallet lately. My newest error is not being able to send anything but no problem with receiving. The error goes something like bitcoindexception error -25. At this point i'm just trying to change wallet completely because this is so frustrating. Any ideas on what to do ?

How many words does your seed have? If it's 12 you can import it in another wallet such as electrum (recommended for easy process and security)

You can import via seed on electrum, Please refer to this thread: https://bitcoinelectrum.com/restoring-your-standard-wallet-from-seed/
Just don't forget to tap Options --> BIP39 Seed when electrum prompts you to enter your seed.

How would I find this seed ?

How would I find this seed ?

It's your recovery seed which you can find on Settings --> Security --> Wallet Recovery Phrase --> Backup Phrase.

Please note that imported address(es) are not included in your seed so if you have any, you have to import them individually although it'll be best to just send them through a transaction.

Great, blockchain has a lot of bugs. Better if you'll start using other wallets like electrum which is well known for being secured and is updated with bugs being shown at the top of the forum.

And if your problem has been solved you can now close this thread for good.

If you have a screenshot of it. Then it would fine to check what is the error exception about. As people reported in this section error 25 would when you have the default fees setting in your account has to changes for normal fees for the each transactions.
Please refer the link to know how to handle the transaction at there with their FAQ.
