Title: CoinTraffic vs Google AdSense
Post by: konfuci on January 27, 2018, 05:04:25 PM
How would you compare CoinTraffic vs Google AdSense from the position of publishers?

What is average CPC in CoinTraffic and Google Adsense (crypto industry)

What other advantage does each of them have?

I have this both adnetwork on my site https://bl4nkcode.info and base on my experience which is obviously google Adsense has more advantages since google covered mostly the surface web, Eg. google search engine and youtube.
And with the CPC regarding crypto I get more revenue in adsense than in CoinTraffic daily so I guess adsense is further than cointraffic IMO.

I see tendency that people use more CoinTraffic rather than Adsense.

Why it happens?

The last time i used cointraffic as a publisher they didn't credit me for clicks, rather everything was CPM -- a flat rate of 0.05$ worth of BTC per 1000 impressions for normal banners, 0.5$ per 1000 popups etc.

I see tendency that people use more CoinTraffic rather than Adsense.

Probably because cointraffic pays out in bitcoin, doesn't ban you for silly things, and doesn't require the need of a credit card. I also believe Adsense doesn't allow you to use them as a publisher on a lot of bitcoin-related sites such as faucets.

In addition, most users (publisher/advertiser) of cointraffic are related to crypto obviously. And doesn't need any personal information unlike adsense, cointraffic just require a website that has more than 10k visitors monthly while adsense have so many requirements and policies. I just dunno whats the requirements of advertisers to both of them.

Cointraffic is the way to go if you want to build faucets/rotators.
Although you can try that in Adsense, there's a risk for your adsense account to be blocked.

If this is true, why would anyone bother with CoinTraffic paying only a $0.50 CPM in the financial space?

Hoping this isn't the whole story as I'm looking at CoinTraffic now.

Cointraffic is better compared to google adsense for me as I have tried adsense and I have seen often the message "your account is disabled" . Cointraffic only bans or disable your account for some really serious offense and not just because google bots say that you have done something not allowed. I would go with Cointraffic in the long run.

Cointraffic would be the best only for crypto niche but the problem if your website has low monthly traffic you can't register your website..
The good thing in adsense there are lots of ads that can give you higher rate but it will be still depends if what blog or niche is..
If your blog is just like a dog guide as sample i think you can get a higher rate..
Cointraffic is only for crypto so if your blog is ralated in crypto you can get a higher rate with cointraffic..

Have you tried only white hat methods on adsense? I mean protecting their rules (it includes to put ads correctly and don't make users to click on ads by requestions or by placing it where they just have to autoclick it).
Of course google adsense is the best paying, their cpc depends on your website's niche, sometimes google pays a lot and sometimes as small as 0.06$, also cpc depends on traffic but once had cpc 4$, amazing right?
Be fair with google and they won't block you + pay very well.
