Title: Intestment - Computational Trading Test Platform
Post by: nab911 on August 29, 2013, 10:58:00 AM
I have been working on a site to allow people to aim bots built for other exchanges at and test how well certain trading algorithms/theories would work. I am getting closer to launching it and am looking for general feedback/support. Right now it is only built for Btc-e but it is abstracted to where it can be used for anything. Adding new exchanges/currencies is as simple as checking their API's and setting up a method for translating them. There are no actual trades/funds being made through the site, it is simply an endpoint for testing profitability without losing your capital.

You can visit it at www.Intestment.com.

All feedback is appreciated. I really need to know what everyone would want out of it so I don't spend time working on features that people don't want!

"Nothing to serve from here. Sorry! (Error 404)"

Well, to be honest I expected something more useful  ::).

Back up now. Small bug. Currently hosting the main site as well as the Crowdfunding site on the same server and the router sends that back when the site server has an error.

Essentially, yes. I looked at cryptotrader.org and they seem more of an interface to trading using their algorithms with the ability to backtest. Intestment will not make any real trades nor build the bots for you, yet. It is just a mirror of an exchange API that you can test against with real, live data to see how you would have performed. I am also going to have "leader" boards, and very in depth analysis of how you performed and how you could improve your algorithm.
