6.Bitvote Technical Features

one-CPU-one-vote
Bitvote uses CryptoNight algorithm, which responds to Satoshi Nakamoto's vision of one-CPU-one-vote, to balance hashrate distribution, making decentralization a real thing.

Replay Protection
Improved wallet safety and eliminated double hashing problem make complete replay protection come true, which protects users and their tokens from various accidents as well as malicious threats.

Block Size Expansion
The block size is expanded to 8M, and the block also supports SegWit. Transaction speed can be improved greatly, so bitcoin network congestion will be completely solved and its practical values will be added.

Lightning Network
There is no need to trust the other party or the third party to achieve real-time and huge amounts of transactions, and payment channels are introduced to enhance the extensibility.

Smart Contract
With the system that has infinite possibilities and the ability to issue assets and establish applications, Bitvote is a token which integrates values and practicability together.

Block Vote
Bitvote employs the scheme of block mark bidding and voting independently. The development direction of the community will be decided by the voting result; thus an autonomous community can be established and divergences can be solved democratically.

Will you contact exchanges to support the fork? In which is this one really different from other blockchain based forks?

Official website is saying nothing about the team behind the coin to carry on the development. Only one anonymous developer and no public or business support for this fork yet as well. It will be interesting to see if there will be any team announced publicly which is behind this fork.

There are two exchanges support BTV. You can get deposit address there, and you can use deposit address to mining btv also.

Will you contact exchanges to support the fork? In which is this one really different from other blockchain based forks?

One or two of these forks will not only survive but also will suddenly appear on the screen of crypto by having unexpected support from big exchanges this is what is been predicted on various levels in articles related to cryptomarkets. I will no need to rush to claim to make few pennies better wait to see what comes out of these in few  months since these are free.

Another FORK coming, another opportunity for the whales to get more free tokens with bitcoin.
I guess they didn't post the ann thread earlier to reduce the demand for the bitcoin. therefore, people who know the fork can get into market and bag more bitcoin and be ready for the fork. this is really manipulation for me. Now i understand more why bitcoin price fall for few days. this is bagging what you need.

This will be a little difficulty:
Import your btc's privkey into btv's bitcoind, and you will see the balance.

I used the address of bitcoin wallet, how to receive BTV?

Bitvote blockchain browser on line, https://block.Bitvote.one/; Bitvote is online after bitcoin 505050 height fork and the main chain is in sync with the public in foreign communities. In my opinion, it is the only split coin that is currently comparable to bch. At present, 1btv is convertible 0.0003bch. It's completely undervalued.

Ive been mining BitVote (btv) for three days with bitvotepool.com and coinex.com
but no payments yet !!!
address: 1M7fsE61tWwzzNF8fFQfaGaL3YfCxUMSZS (good for donations too  ::)

Are the btv blockchain and mining operational yet, yes or no ?

The BTC blockchain is as I write at block 507326, so well over 505050 (!!???)

Thanks for creating a block explorer for btv, but I get “ Ooops! 404 Page not found :( ”

There are two exchanges support BTV. You can get deposit address there, and you can use deposit address to mining btv also.

Will you contact exchanges to support the fork? In which is this one really different from other blockchain based forks?

hi i am mining 5 days 24 hours my adress is 125FP6Yu8oMtLjBniMZp7HXCDwBeBQJvQq and is no any payment i have i5 3317u is that ok for btv?

minerd -a cryptonight -o stratum+tcp://stratum.bitvotepool.com:3032 -u 125FP6Yu8oMtLjBniMZp7HXCDwBeBQJvQq -p x -t 4

220 coins, thats crazy. I discovered this just before it was listed, and still mined a lot of money in one night. 33 coins in one night.

You made huge amount of coins in the start. You can't get these amounts anymore, not even close. You are lucky to mine even one coin.

I switched to miningpool btv.coin-miners.info
as the other pool bitvote.one seems to behave weird and doesn’t give much info about what you mined. (1 share in 4 days :-)

At least btv.coin-miners.info has a normal mpos interface, and shares seem to add up  ;D
13000 shares after one night of mining  :o

Sadly i’m the only miner there.
Other miners please join me there !

The first worker is never shown (or counted in a lot of screens).

Isn’t that supposed to be difficulty 1 for BTV ?

Some forks of bitcoin get listed, or at least temporarily included on binance. This often leads to it actually getting listed as well. Guessing there is no chance of that happening with bitvote?

2018/1/20 update: The main chain is released. Please use the code in GitHub (https://github.com/bitcoinvote/bitcoin) to compile and synchronize data.

2018/2/02 update: Block explorer is released: https://block.bitvote.one

Bitvote has forked successfully at Bitcoin block height 505050. Bitvote is a fork of Bitcoin, and its abbreviation is BTV. There will be no pre-mining and additional issuance. Bitvote uses the CryptoNight algorithm.

why can i see block 505049 generated on Jan 19, 2018 10:51:22 PM blocksize 1012051 ,
then the first visible block is 505171 generated Jan 20, 2018 4:52:06 PM block size 315.

what happened in between ? aliens  ???

sorry, I just wanted to have a look at the magic 505050 block.

edit: update: I got to 505050 by browsing back one block at a time in detailview.

Got this email from coinex, also got similar notice from bitpie

Quote
Dear CoinEx users:

Due to potential problems of Bitvote (BTV) replay protection, your Bitcoin wallet might face replay attack if it has been used for BTV allocation. To protect your assets, CoinEx has suspended BTV deposit and withdrawal. We will resume BTV deposit and withdrawal as soon as it is technically safe and stable.

and it will be dead in the next few weeks later because of the miners, right ?
nothing good will happen if we're mining it using GPU,because the circulation will be huge.
the coin need a loyal supporter,
it won't come from the miners, because they're only aiming for money.
they need to pay the expenses and other stuff.

11:44:44

addnode seed8.bitvote.one

11:44:44

addnode "node" "add|remove|onetry"

Attempts to add or remove a node from the addnode list.
Or try a connection to a node once.
Nodes added using addnode (or -connect) are protected from DoS disconnection and are not required to be
full nodes/support SegWit as other outbound peers are (though such peers will not be synced from).

When I add nodes then wait 3-5 days.
Wallet is not good.
Not show info what happen. Show only 99.xx% and wait 3-5 days to finish.

The https://block.bitvote.one/ block explorer is down, can you guys fix it?

Actually it's worse than that: the domain is not set (no address for block.bitvote.one)

@alikcei4 you sync your wallet ?

After last restart of wallet, I wait 5 days and not sync. Again only stay on 99.98%.

No answer from supporters. All is quietly. Why ?

Also, I'm stuck at block 533627

Is there someone ahead? If yes, care to share the node?

Poor work.
No information. There is no Telegram channel.
If we have quastion, write it and then wait, wait ... and wait.
No Dev to say info about sync problem.

Not to mention about trade, deposit, e.t.c.

Please use the latest code(https://github.com/bitcoinvote/bitcoin)
to synchronize the data from the very beginning
Official nodes are from seed1.bitvote.one to seed9.bitvote.one
We will compensate for the loss of balance. Please rest assured.

I'm very pleased to announce that YOBIT agreed to create a dynamic investbox for BTV and BTV will run as a separate coin on YOBIT.

https://yobit.net/en/trade/BTV/BTC

The coin name BTV will be replaced to avoid confussion. All other BTV coins on other exchanges or in wallet will not be impacted, only YOBIT coins will be impacted.

Hhehehehheeh you are using my I'd  isamamin.
This guy hacked my account heheh
