Who are the richest people in Bitcoin?

- The Winklevoss Brothers talked about owning about 1% of all bitcoins.
- Roger Ver AKA "The Bitcoin Jesus" owns a lot.
- And of course Satoshi Nakamoto is reported to own around 1,000,000 BTC.

The funny fact is that one of the biggest owners of bitcoins is Bulgarnian government. They have over 200k bitcoins

The possibility of knowing the richest people in bitcoin is very thin because the main essence of bitcoin or blockchain is to make sure that no third party knows about your financial status.

Yes I believe on Satoshi Nakamoto because as a creator you will store some for yourself or for the team. We never know if he ran it with a team. And 1/21 was owned by satoshi wow. I've heard of roger ver and I believe on his holdings he's one of the pioneer of cryptocurrency. What I don't know is the Winklevoss brothers. Never heard of them. But these kind of people could act as the model for us to strive more and earn bitcoins!

The WinkleVoss twins. When they won their lawsuit against facebook, they received millions of dollars and poured practically all of it into bitcoin. They are (or were) bitcoin billionaires but since the price went down, that may not be the case anymore. But they own a lot bitcoin. They are very passionate overall about cryptocurrencies and created the site, gemini, which I use often.

I believe that these people are just the notable ones. For all we know, there might be somebody/someone out there still remaining anonymous who also holds huge amounts of bitcoins in their wallets. We can never really know.

He does not hold 1 million BTC, you can go back to the gensis block an check. He holds 500k, Ver apparently hold 400k, not sure how much he sold  trying to pump BCH.

Then you got large miners like Jihan Wu, of course the Twins and the list goes on and on.

The ones that made the most are the huge whales that diversified into alts which then pumped another x100 or so. Just check the bitcoin rich list https://bitinfocharts.com/top-100-richest-bitcoin-addresses.html the really big wallets also belong to exchanges.

Correct, This happened or was revealed in December when Bitcoin was seized from criminals by the Bulgarian authorities.
It was/is valued at a price which could pay 20% of their national debt.

There are lots of people that became rich because of bitcoin and a lot of them dont want to be known and remain anonymous. what we all know is winklevoss twins,  roger ver, satoshi nakamoto, charlie shrem, gavin andersen but i truly believe that there is an individual or group of people that owns more bitcoin than those people i stated and we will never know who are they unless they reveal themselves.

The richest people who bought bitcoin for cents. And the size of the investment is not important here. All the wealth in knowledge and primacy.

surely is the master of satoshi nakamoto because he is the founder of bitcoin.
besides him I think nobody knows clearly who is the most bitcoin owner besides mr satoshi nakamoto, this is because in the bitcoin world everyone is invisible and i do not think anyone is surveying anyone who has a lot of bitcoin.
I do not think there's anyone showing all the assets I have because I'm sure they care about security for themselves and their families.
so if there is a survey result that says the name of the person who has a lot of bitcoin assets I think it's just a fake survey.

The richest people in bitcoin are those people who believes in it when it is not yet popular, who has a holding and believe that it would be a great opportunity at this time, I hope that I have known this from the start maybe now I am just travelling around the world and just relaxing in our house.

I do not know people who are millionaires with ownership of bitcoin funds, except a few as their own creator, but people who have become millionaires after buying bitcoin or accept them, such is the case of rapper 50 cent.

It's all seized money. Remember when the US gov got 144k Bitcoins from the Silk Road? The difference is that (AFAIK) the US gov sold at ~$1k.

Through some of the news that has been circulating and viral among the world Bitcoin community they have a source who knows that the richest creator of bitcoin is named "Satoshi Nakamoto" which if in thinking think is the name of a citizen of Japanese poetry. but in 2016 there is someone who is a fairly well-known figure in the Bitcoin community who is also an entrepreneur in Australia named Craig Wright claims that he is the Nakamoto in the talk .
