Hi guys and girls,

I think the time is there for the big shock in price.
I do not know how low it will go. If it continues from here (9200) it will go to at least 8500, maybe 6800.
I still see a lot of potential for bitcoin to grow, but this kind of correction (backtest) is nessecary to go back up again.
There is enough money that wants to flow in, so i would not worry.
I keep my position and am ready to buy a little more!

To which levels do you think we are heading?

LOL. Been busy in the last couple of weeks and when I came back bitcoin is on another price correction. As far as the bottom price? I really don't care. I always look at the bright side of it. Time to buy and stock up more bitcoins. Everyone should take this opportunity to get it while its still cheap. Yes, this is another test to shake the weak hands. Its always been the case. So If I were in your shoes, I will not dump my coins just because its going down. You have to look at the potential profit you gonna earn if you hold it longer. Don't listen to FUD. Money always moves from the weak hands into strong hands. This is just another hurdle that we can overcome in the next couple of days.

I think a lot of buyers would approach if the price went that low.

i think its more higher than the our expectation so just still hoping for the good and great bitcoin super price coming.

I guess the price will bounce around the lowest Fibonacci retracement level, which if I remember well should be around 8100 or surrounding. However, it is still to be proved that the bounce will be definitive.

Their is all sort of negative news flowing from every where, today in India budget they have given clear indication that they are not going to allow Crypto currency to flourish it and they will take steps to regularize or ban it. So i think their will be more downward in price.

I think that this is a fall before big growth. I think that already in June we will see a big price increase

You spoke my thoughts. This is actually a great opportunity to buy bitcoin when its value is dipping and it is possible to earn quick short term profits this way since I am expecting a big rally from the entire crypto market later this month. I have already purchases 0.5 bitcoin and several thousands of Dentacoin which I will HODL for long term profits. The media is blowing the India ban out of proportion which is one more case of ignorant FUD and I advise everyone to ignore them and focus on HODLING your coins since 2018 will be bigger than 2017 for crypto.

For me this is the best time to invest more in bitcoin because of having its low value today and eventually I know that its value will raise again like last december that it has the highest value and I believe it will overcome the highest value recorded last december.

I am surprised to see the prices going down and be ready to see a further decline of at least $1000 in next few days. This is because today in the Financial budget announced in India, the finance minister had already announced that they will ban Bitcoins in India. This means that a lot of Indian people will take pout their money and we will see decrease in demand. However, there is no need to panic if you are investing for long term.

This will always be true. So long as people just try to grow their absolute BTC investment, and not worry about what the exchange rate is in terms of fiat, then they can only succeed (unless they're complete idiots).

Don't focus on how the market is "crashing" when all cryptos are down, just focus on making logical investments with your BTC. If you can't afford to convert fiat to crypto, then just invest in crypto, and trade sideways.

the only thing shocking was the fact that price went below $10k despite the very big buy support that existed there and still exists.
the fact that it is going down now is not shocking anymore, a major support was broken successfully after a lot of effort :D

just because it went down it doesn't mean it will continue going down.
it may go lower but for different reasons.

bitcoin has been declining for several weeks.
Lots of newbie investors will panic and cash out, ordinary people will be afraid to buy it.

no-one knows what is going to happen but there has been 50%+ loss from january and it is still falling.

the price of bitcoin is still massively inflated so it should stall further.

i am holding altcoins and if bitcoin goes then i hope that some of the alts takeover and moon ;)

If you hoping to the rise on bitcoin price, your expectation should be on mid year. If you want make good money from bitcoin, now is the time to accumulate some

really, this time is the right time to buy bitcoin or altcoin. and who can take hold long then they will win. we just need to be patient and wait for the right time to sell. for some people will panic when you see the price is getting down. but the benefit of the whales is to take advantage of the present time to buy more bitcoins ..

Going all the way down to $5,500 - where it belongs.  $10,000 was a very stupid 'end of year' goal that got everyone too horny.  $5,500 is probably over valued.  Sell now, buy back then. Save 4000!

I don't think bitcoin is 'massively inflated'.
As for altcoins, most of which are falling hard today.
The only big one that is green is ethereum.

Because the last year bitcoin price Pump very much although its very high. Go for sell, and after the low value of bitcoin then, try to buy more extra. It will going very high in the end of the year 2018. No tension just check every condition.

Yes, I think it could go as low as 8000$.
On one hand it is not a big surprise because technical analysis did say it will happen on other hand i am furious on myself because i did buy some alts exactly before the last dip , i had no to be aptient only 1-2 days and my plan would have worked. Stupid. Hope I will learn.

Either lots of Bitcoin noobs are out here now or people just have short term memories. We haven't even reached the panic phase yet of the bubble life-cycle. This is apparently the "new normal" phase at present. Hold on tight, we're going to go way down from here.

Can't predict the reality, it is all about the time period. We might end up same as that we were during the starting days of 2017. Else, this could be a massive correction phase for the price that grew much higher rising the capital to a much higher value. Even by this time experts has predicted it'll bump to $50k once after the ongoing price dip.

What happening now is a big dip in my crypto experience, the price now is at $8.5K and still dumping. A projection that the price will go down near $5k. I will think it on a positive side that, this will be a good opportunity to buy again. Hope that this will stable soon.

What is the reason behind this magnificent dip?
I anticipated there would be some correction, but never expected it would be so big.

if you see a very drastic reduction in bitcoin prices, I look like last year. beginning in 2017 bitcoin also dropped dramatically and it takes a long time to stabilize and go back up.it might be down to $8000, but hopefully not. if the price drops to $ 8000 alu think it will take a long time to get back to $12000 or more...

I think to get lots and lots of  new buyers in now it will need to go to 2-3k.  Because that's the price it was before the big rise.  On the price over 12 months the price is not low.  I think that's where people are making a big mistake.  They think because the price went sky high for a few weeks that's the price.  It isn't. 

I think it can go to $7000, and, as you said, it might be necessary before we see new highs.
I think the trick now is to be patient, and do not trade if you are not experienced. History has shown that trade at the bottom price is, most of the time, a bad idea.

Well its a good advice to never expect anything because many people, even those technical analysts whatever, have been proven wrong with unexpected market movements. We can very well be on our way to 5k, who knows. The thing is, if you believe in bitcoin and it's potential, this won't really matter

In The past at some point Bitcoin was 60$ and it went down to 2$... THAT was a big dip. People who bought at 60$ and sold at 2$ might have regretted it later on.

Not sure we're there, but I've been buying at 8200 ....
Do not wanna miss out, but keep some dry prowder for if we're going lower!

It seems that the price is for the moment fluctuating around the $8500 mark, meaning there is support at this mark.
We will need to wait and see what happens tomorrow, if the price starts dropping and doesn't bounce back at this mark, than we are in for a new crash I think....

We need Tether to be resolved one way or another

either

1) they played the system and pumped BTC and thus all crypto rose from their games

or

2) it is just all a bubble for other reasons and speculation and nothing to do with tether


but, my fear is that Tether (under investigation) will drag this out for months.....

a quick resolution on where they stand in all the above would go a long way towards better prices, IMHO!

(what do I know ..I bought into this whole tulip crypto stuff by drinking the kool-aid in 2013....my advice is tainted)

Pfff, then you should be a rich guy now, providing you have bought 50-100 Bitcoins dirt cheap in 2013!

You certainly made the right decision.
As we can see, the marketing is recovering very fast.
We won't see 8200 again.

My point of view is as follows: the biggest shock is over, and Bitcoin will not fall so critically now even when the market slows down.

I think the low is around 8k for this phase and from last couple of days if you see the resistance support is also 8k and the prices is able to hold the 8k level. Jan as well know the market do fall and now that is over so we should expect some rise form this levels and you did well to start accumulating form this levels .

Bitcoins will not go down more. They are just getting ready to shoot up. Jumping till the moon, they will be covering up all the mess created in the month of January. Some people are predicting for bitcoins to be the most impressive jump they are going to make in this month. As the well-wishers of bitcoins, we definite want this to be happening around us. May we see some good moves?

The big shock has come and gone.  Maybe a bigger shock will be coming soon.  But in reality the shock was that Bitcoin went to 20k.  Not that it has fallen below 8K for now. 

the market acts like it is a dead market...strange!

It can fall even lower, but then raise. I suppose March will be the time to watch Bitcoin fluctuation. The same will happen to altcoins.

Seems that the bottom is in? Not really sure, but seems like.

I expect more fall in the next 24 hours.  Even if it does seem to ralley a little bit now. 

It was a Big Pleasant Shock when Bitcoin was over 20 thousand. Now this fall can cause a depression of some investors.

It is always difficult to predict it, especially now, when the maket is down. Bitcoin can have a really great fall unfortunately, but later it will recover.
