hi guys right now im hodling ada,nem,xmr,waves,utrust,ast,xrb,vib

my initial capital was 4000 usd.
i am down 50%.

do you think it is better to cash out now and just invest it to a safer investment like Land or stocks
i have a 7x 580 and 1070ti mining and just rely on that to buy cryptos?

or do you think i should hodl

Same here, I will not sell in losses. The market is temporary down due to fuds and China New Year coming up in mid Feb 2018. I will hold on to my coins till the market recover.

never sell the coins when they are at all time low. always HODL in such situation cause when next time they start rising , you will regret. moreover you should buy more in the dip so that even your initial losses are covered when the price begins to rise. i would suggest its good time to invest in some well know coin with good company working on it such as ripple XRP and ethereum ETH. just HODL :)

you wont lose anything if you really dont sold any,the best thing to do is to hold what coins you are getting stucked because selling it with a losing trade isnt a good idea,you wont get recover from the trauma it has brought to you.My suggestion is to keep them for a while,and sell it when you breakeven with your investment,i experienced worst than your 50% down,prepare for the worst and only invest what you can afford to lose.

You just need to be patient, maybe delete and encryption currency associated with the APP, and then forget to buy the encrypted currency and the bitcoin, a month later, maybe another bull market. ;D ;D

I know that experienced traders set stop losses and then buy a coin back on the bottom, but I never use them, bacause the market is highly volative and it'll definitely grow again after this correction.

Trading and investment need patience to success and you need to stop panic to avoid loss. Normally every altcoin or bitcoin will in average during January to March period and after that it will spike slowly, don't sell now and wait for nice things to come.

There are few reasons for dip in price like China is in vacation leave until March and correction happening on all crypto currencies, the other reason is to attract more investors the price may be shown as low. If you understand these logic then you wont get panic.

I sold panic after December pump every sold coins value was about 1000 times or more . Again decision upto you before selling try to see market chart .

Don't sell it at the moment. You should keep holding for longer time when the downtrend storm over. You only lose when you sold so you should keep holding for few weeks more after everything painted green again :). All the market is painted in red right now, not only the cryptocurrencies that you're holding so don't be so panic

I am also down 60% at the current moment on my coins and tokens but  am not going to become fodder for the whales. If you are patient you can ride out these rough waves and just wait for the next bull run and party. I am sure after the Chinese Lunar New Year has finally ended and the spring season has come in, we should see some improvements in the markets. I am hopeful also that  have made the right choices in the coins I am currently holding but seeing their prices go down does sometimes make me nervous but still, I only take out my living costs and am waiting for the bulls to arrive before I make other drastic moves.

Hm, I have not researched your coins, but if they are decent they will rise in the future, so if you sell them you will lose more. I would suggest hodl and see what happens for month or two, if nothing changes (or they go down again), then maybe you should sell them and buy other perspective alts (if they don't get too expansive by that time). No, I don't think so you can sell your coins, because this is buying time if you have some funds then you can buy more coins because all the coins are available on very low price.These opportunity is never comes everyday.

At this Moment mining will be the best thing anyone can do as that's the safest way to earn when the entire crypto market is bleeding red and I would also suggest you not to sell any coins now and rather hold on to the coins.

In this market, it is best to buy in dips and hodl. Don't panic sell. Usually the market is bearish in initial some months of the year. This trend is being repeated everh year. Market will ultimately recover. Right now selling alts or bitcoin would be stupid as you might end up buying high later. If you have spare btc buy more, else just forget about your portfolio for a month and return back in March.

HODL! no matter what and dont panic sell and as long you didnt sell those tokens those arent still considered as loss. It might be floating on negative but its not really worth it to sell on loss. Better to hold off and proceed on what you are mining and accumulate bitcoin as much as you can. Not all the times we do have a bearish market because sooner or later trend will surely change.

You should always have cutlosses in every trades you make,so you will not get stucked with these shitcoins.Personally i am doing a 10-15% stop loss in each and every trade thats why i dont lose a lot of money when my technical analysis didnt work.

If you buy bitcoin for long term investment better you hold, don't panic !. I think bitcoin drop down much because negative speculation and investors afraid and sell their bitcoin. I believe bitcoin will up and shine again in a few month later. Price down we can do invest more again and in the future you can get more profit.

By no means am I a veteran in the space. My obvious answer would be to hold on to it, and accepting the fact that it can go even lower. However, if you need that money for any urgent or emergency purposes then it may be worth consider pulling out. Everybody tells that when the dump comes you should hold and dont sell with lose. But i always sell it to cutmy losses. So after that i try to buy me in at the lowest poin. When you buy in a lot lower then you sold it, and it raises again then you get more wort then just holding and wait to get the old price. When you look at the charts right now, you will see that the old prices will not come back so fast.

For me just hold your tokens your tokens have potential to rise its price again and dont sell it because of losing your 50% of your capital just hold for a while and you can recover it. some people regret at last because of panic selling.

With the amount that you just lost and with the crazy prices in the market lately, i guess it is best to hold. Having lost 50% means that you shouldn't sell anything. Te only option is to hold and hope. you will not make much if you sell your cions, but you will multiply the risks of losing even more.

Looking at your profile, I expect that you are one of those who doesn't care about dips like this anymore. OF COURSE YOU SHOULD HODL! You bought those altcoins because you want profit so why sell them at a loss? Think a hundred of times bro. You have a miner, if you don't have a strong belief that coins will get over this dip anymore then diversify your next miner earnings and buy land or whatever instead. Stop looking at your portfolio for now so it doesn't hurt your eyes and heart. I bought ADA, XLM and TRX at their all time high glory but I'm still positive that they'll soon moon again.

Its a tough choice for now,  but if you don't need any money then just hold it, when things get better  the price will up again, and it's your choice to choose crypto investment or a fiat investment, if you can't handle the pressure and want to play safe then go for fiat investment, crypto will give you more profit but it contains a great risk of losing money

Do not even start to think of selling, what you should actually be thinking of is buying because you will be abe to pick up alot of your existing coins at big discounts and bringing your cost average way down.

I think that now it is already unnecessary to sell anything. Now just wait. You could sell at a drawdown of 5-10%, so that you can re-buy now. And now only wait for prices to rise again.

If you don't have urgent needs then just hold your coins. The coins you have has still a lot of potential and not like those sh*tcoins so better hold it and if possible you can buy more so that the buy price would go lower and if ever the price would rise again then you would have much bigger profit. I am not planning to make any sales in fact i will buy more coins. The price will definitely increase after feb. 

I have sold 80% of my crypto holdings. I think 90% of tokens will drop 90% the coming 6 months. I will buy more again when the market starts turning.
If you have fiat on your pocket a correction is an opportunity to make money again.


Two reasons for being bearish.
1. Stock markets are likely to fall this year. Have been hitting ATH for a while now. A financial 'crises' is overdue, perhaps 2019 and stock markets usually drop slowly 1 year before. More uncertain investments are sold first.
2. Previous valuation was totally crazy. Any little shit token could be valued at $200 mill , without working product or any profits. A regular $200 mill. company is a pretty large and successful company.

So I think prices will drop a lot during the coming year and for the large ones bounce back a bit. The big ones will be back at January prices in a year.

Don't think about what could have happened if you sold earlier, a profit is a profit. Just learn to next time to take more profits while everything is going well.

I don't advice now to sell your coins and cut your losses as the market is at severe crash right now. Many have been decreased by double-digit percentage already including bitcoin. I am sure that now there is no sense in selling coins. Drawdown is very deep and now you just need to wait until crypto spring begins. I think that the stable growth will begin in early March.

You probably should if you are not confident to your holdings,but if you have done a lot of research im sure all your coins would be solid whether the market bleeds or having bloodbaths,just have faith in the technology behind it and you will achieve success.

When the market is down, there are basically two things you can do that will work out for you in the long run:
#1 Take a break from crypto.  Just don't check your portfolio, coinmarketcap, or anything.  Take the stress out of it by not even doing it.
If you are a long term holder, this is the best option.

#2 Buy more! Any way you look at it, 8k is a great price for btc and 800 is a great price for ethereum.
Especially if you consider that after market crashes, the value of coins tend to rise dramatically.

There is a third option: Make strategic trades to take advantage of panic sellers to maximise the amount of btc you have.
But that takes a lot of experience and research to be susccsessful.

I could see that you are a Full Member already of this respected forum, however, I am a bit amazed on how you deal with your coins especially in this bearish time. I am certain that you are not that comfortable with losing your investment since you are considering to sell at 50% loss. I don't know your reasons for considering to sell your coins but I would definitely suggest that you HODL those coins and just keep in your bag. You don't want to regret later. Don't be emotional buddy.

You really should have cutlosses in every holding you have because the market is very volatile,which can give you the highest gains or highest losing trade in just few minutes,keeping your cutloss tight would give you high chance of winning a trade.
