Is Satoshi is dead,If not where is he now and what is he doing right now..Bitcoin price is down sharply. Can he do something?

I do not think it would be  a wise decision on his part to reveal his identity. Ii would be risky for the life of his family members as well depending on how much he made with Bitcoins.

Satoshi Nakamoto is the most searched name in the cryptocurrency world. There is no accurate information on Satoshi's identity as an individual or organization. With the amount of bitcoin Satoshi is holding, he is already a billionaire. Satoshi is someone I admire for creating bitcoin, though I do not know who he is.

Even if he appeared what do you expect him to do? Bitcoin was created as a decentralized currency so we do not needed a benevolent tyrant taking decisions for us because at any time that person could be replaced by a real tyrant that could take decisions to destroy bitcoin, while there are probably many reasons why satoshi left that was a factor, the development of bitcoin is up to the core devs and the success of bitcoin is up to us.

Why you need to know where is he now? For sure he is keeping an eye here in his development as he is holding millions of it, but we still don't know who he is but that does not matter if he don't want to appear in public for as long as we will all gonna stay here I think he is now happy since a lot of people are becoming rich with his great invention.

He developed this project well and I think it would be best for him to keep his identity secret. In my opinion, I would not be surprises if one of the staff members is actually him.

I think that one of bitcointalk admins is Satoshi Nakamoto. Or someone from leading crypto exchanges. (why? Because he is master of this technology)

Be sure Satoshi Nakamoto is one of public leaders in blockchain technology.

He gave us this amazing technology. Now the price is governed by  a number of factors and I do not think one person can control it. It is possible in one situation only when he hold huge amount of Bitcoins himself. Then he can manipulate the prices but he will not do anything that will harm Bitcoin in long run.

I really hope he stepped in and took action because now the bitcoin price is low as if it were just created.

no one know who is he and where is he now..  that's is not important thing to know, we can only appreciate with what he has created. although he is the creator of bitcoin, but I think he can't control the price because bitcoin price are controled by supply and demand.

No one knows, many thread has been created to know who's the real satoshi but guesses say that he is Hal.
We do all really care about satoshi but the sad truth about it is no one ever cover his true identity so if he's dead or not, no one can give you an accurate information.
He can't do something about the price of bitcoin. The market itself is the one that reacts with the current supply and demand so its playing automatically.

As of now, Satoshi Nakamoto is unidentified and it is hard to find people that you don't even know the face. I think someday there will be a great revelation from Nakamoto. We just don't know if he is dead or one of the biggest investors in others altcoins. No one knows of his identity, the real behind satoshi.

Talking about success then it would really be entirely depending on the community which are involved into bitcoin but its not really bad to see satoshi in public. He might not able to do some effects on bitcoins price but as a bitcoin holder and believer you would really be amazed to see its creator. Not be denied that bitcoin did really changed someones lives where they should really show some gratitude or respect to the person who made it. Might not on price matter but on the benefits that it gives.

Well said man, all of us in thia cryptocommunity would be very happy if we know him/her/them. Anyways, Bitcoin is a decentralized currency so prices depends on we the traders!, but he/she/them can influence the price looking at the amount held. It's also good in a way noone knows Satoshi (security is even a major factor amongst others)

Even satoshi couldn't save the price of bitcoin. His personality is still a secret and no one knows who really are. I can barely said that we are all satoshi because we are all believers of his success. We should be just chill Bitcoin will still rise again just don't mind the badnews it always depends on the demand that's how market works. Only whales can change the price of bitcoin and the community will be tired of hearing of bad news. Bad news will never be a reason for the market changes for the next following years.

I don’t really think Satoshi is one man… what if it is a group of engineers that decided to work secretly with a code name– SATOSHI? Maybe they just don’t want to show themselves, though I don’t really think the government will do anything to them if they happen to show their face or his face (if it’s just one man). I once came across a post on Crypto coins news that claims that some world top leaders said that Satoshi deserves to awarded for what he has done… or are they trying to set a trap for him? You can never tell.

Sometimes I think, does he even exist or not? And if he is here, then why exactly is he hiding himself? Yeah, I have heard that he has almost one million bitcoin and with that amount, he would become a millionaire one day. There was a time when I wanted to know about him but now I have ended my chase because I feel like we cannot get to know about him more than his name.

Actually nobody knows where satoshi at , all we know that He still anonymous and no one knows about him , well he can do anything despite that he is the founder of bitcoin which he can do anything. And I think he's doing right know is chilling and enjoying that's all.

No one actually knows who is satoshi and what is he doing at this momment. He can't do anything with Bitcoin prices. Only the community can make the price of Bitcoin go up. There are alot of FUD happening here that makes the crash of the market making small and some of the biggest investors of Bitcoin sell theirs into altcoins or Fiat.

I do not think I can do anything, one of the advantages or qualities that he gave to his creation was the fact that the currency would not be controlled by anyone, it is completely free. Taking control would change many things within the course. It was also his decision not to reveal his identity, for sure he does not even know who he is.

Well, we are still so thankful that even though he chooses to become anonymous he has given us a great advantage that really helps a lot of people and an individual, and as of the moment I don't think he is dead now because if he does someone will reveal his identity, he might be one of us here we really don't know and have no idea at all.

There's a reason why he went through hoops of fire just to keep his identity one of the best kept secrets in the world. What he started has benefited a lot of people and we got him to thank for that. I know that there is a real reason why Satoshi is hiding. I came up to the idea that the government can arrest satoshi because of the invention that he/she created. I am also that her/his life are in danger because of what he created. But I am sure that he/she is now happy because many people are now patronizing his/her invention.

It's a normal thing that rates fluctuate, besides the fall of Bitcoin was predictable. Satoshi has nothing to do with it, no one can even tell for sure if he really existed. And no one will tell for sure what is waiting for us in the crypto field in the future.

Sathoshi the real creator of bitcoin is not dead .Don't be foolish to think that he is dead in fact he cannot do anything if the market is sinking.One of the main reason for the market to sink is the false news and the fake information that people spread through social media and the recent fake info provided in the wall st. has also down marketed the value of btc as they gave false info about btc. Satoshi has already done his job and his work has proved to be the best investment globally and i hope the market will recover soon . I believe Satoshi is not an individual but a group of people who established bitcoin. And for sure, they are doing something with regards to the inflation.

I'm not sure if satoshi nakamoto is a person, but maybe a group of person who are the makers and founders of bitcoins. They maybe use this name to hide their identity to protect their selves and their family for those people who are interested to them and to maintain their simple living.

For me he is not dead. Satoshi Nakamoto is the most search person when it comes to cryptocurrency. He is the hidden person until now. And he cannot reveal himself for his security. I think he has a plan how to get Bitcoin back to the most valuable amount. We need to trust him

Agree with you SunJAB, revealing Satoshi's identity will only lead to fame and danger. But even though, if he will be indentified, he can't help about the fall back of prices. Because BTC is created to be decentralized. Which means, no one is administrating it. We are the solution and the problem of how the price goes up and down. If we buy, it will boost up. But if we panicked on selling that's why it goes down more and more.

I don't think satoshi nakamoto is a real person in the first place. And if he is, or probably they are, satoshi most likely owns a large number of btcs, enough to have a manipulative effect on the market. So prettt much what's going on right now is something he won't do anything about. But again, i don't think he's a real person

Until now we have no idea if he still alive, no one knows if who is really Satoshi Nakamoto, but his name remain popular to us, because he created bitcoin, a person who hiding until now, maybe he want to secure his life to others. But we believe that maybe he is the one of the investors, and always updated the price of bitcoin. His identity is still a mystery to the people until now. We believe that Satoshi is alive still until now. Wherever he is we appreciate we continue to trust in bitcoin.

Well, according to sources, this Satoshi guy might be a name of a group of brilliant people who created bitcoin. He like stopped existing last 2010 and his identity never emerged since then. I understand your curiosity but whether he's dead or alive at the moment is not important anymore because bitcoin and other altcoins are decentralized. So, he's going to be a popular urban legend from now on.

the best thing that I love about btc is that no one is there to take the credits about himself and ruin the project for his ego, I hope Satoshi is live but I hope we never know who is he.

It doesn't even matter if they wanted to help our not there is no way they could. Btw though the reason they stay underground is because there would be massive scrunity, media, and tons of drama everywhere this person or group of people went. First of all, let me clear one thing please confused me for a long time, Satoshi is not an organization he is a single man and I do not think he is holding any Bitcoins. He is just like a simple human like us but he was just experimenting with cryptography and working on his personal project of some kind which he named Bitcoin or maybe someone from us has named it. The emails and the messages in 2009 clearly state that Satoshi was planning to develop this system and he left it incomplete. He left the system because he has seen some problems which you don't want to fix or don't want to invest any more time in this project.

You would think that almost a decade since it's appearance,

I don't think satoshi nakamoto is a real name of a person who build bitcoin, that name is only used to hide their real identity, that person is truly genius, and I really agreed on how the way he or she managed. Even now, no one can conclude about the profile of Satoshi Nakamoto, it is quite similar in bitcoin, that no one also can determine of what is the future life operation of bitcoin.

Yes, possibly Satoshi seems to be alive. The identity is still under cover for security reasons. Because, if he's revealed to the world surely governments will try to take him under control and investigate. Or else well planned governments will try to make make use of him for their development needs.

I believe Satoshi is not one man but several. And they might be absolutely infamous and not known by anyone, just some smart IT guys who've came up with one brilliant idea. And now they can do what they want.

I would love to see and know more about the person or persons that are going to change the world with their invention but at the same time if satoshi reappeared he will probably be attacked by all governments of the world, so in a way he will become a weak point for bitcoin since they will try to destroy his image in an attempt to destroy bitcoin, by hiding his identity satoshi denied them that option.

Why do you care about where Satoshi lives or his personal life? He has abandoned bitcoin a long time back and now he is probably enjoying his life, probably.

Dead or alive, Satoshi does not have a direct influence on the manipulation of the price of bitcoin. The way bitcoin is drafted, no single person has that control. It is decentralized. However, not revealing himself is a good thing for him against security if his life. Haven't you read of the recent news of a crypto blogger who made a boast of his wealth on YouTube and was later attacked at his home? He was bruised, tied up and left to die after the robbers made away with his money. If people knew Satoshi whereabouts, it could be worse for him.

The existence of bitcoin is no longer dependant to the existence of Satoschi as bitcoin is a decentralized currency and he has no control over it now. So for this reason there is no need for him to show up yet I net he got a very descent amount of it to spend. Some say he is hiding from thugs that may harm him in order to get their hand on BTC yet I don't think that is true.

I think Satoshi is just observing what will happen with the technology that he has brought the world in. How will the people and the world will respond to this kind of technology. And with the world we're in right now, it's better to remain anonymous than be famous for bringing a technology that opposes the banks.

It doesn't matter if Satoshi Nakamoto is a girl or a boy, the bottom line here is that he is not going to show his self to the public, I don't know the reason why, but I respect his decision. I don't think he's dead since Bitcoin is only 9 years old. But that day will come one day and no one is going to know. My be a big topic that comes up often in say 30 years from now.

The presence or absence of satoshi nakamoto now will not affect the bitcoin price. Cryptocurreny has a decentralized system, which is entitled to set the bitcoin price is 'we are' not satoshi nakamoto. A good solution to increase bitcoin price is get your friends or family to buy bitcoin for investment, it's a testament to bitcoin price going up.

No one is certain who satoshi nakamoto is or if satoshi is a group of individual under that name or what he/she/they're doing right now. It can be possible that they're making improvements of the blockchain that will surprise everybody as satoshi's name resurfaces in the future again with a new technology.

If the Satoshi revealed his identity now it would probably have a negative impact on the price of bitcoin. A lot of the mystique around bitcoin would be lost and the man himself would come under tremendous scrutiny. His life would probably become hell. I don't know what age he is or what plans he has. Yeah, and if ever he is an individual person or a group, they're definitely a good guy. I am pretty much sure that they want us to become rich also. They want to share their blessings to us. As a believer of his masterpiece I don't need to know more about him since he did everything in an anonymous way then let him be what he want to be with his life. We can't really tell the truth about his existence. Even his co developers don't know his identity so how much more people like us? I don't think if he can do something on the price since Bitcoin was made in a decentralized blockchain technology. Price depends on the community and investors so it has nothing to do with the developer itself.

I don't think satoshi is dead at this moment, maybe satoshi is your neighbor? Maybe satoshi is one of the admins here or maybe... nahhh I don't know and it doesn't matter for me if satoshi is dead or not. What is important is, satoshi created the currency of the century and because of satoshi's development, many coins have been created - making a domino effect.

Satoshi has no control to fix anything that is happening with bitcoin. He made bitcoin decentralized which means the control is over the people that is handling their personal coin. The thing is that, Satoshi might be one of the whales. He might be holding the largest volume of bitcoin. If this so, surely he will be able to manipulate the price. No one knows if its a single entity or just a group but I do agree on the point that building bitcoin needs a vast amount of knowledge which isn't really possible on a single person but no one knows if its just him or not. I think we should not bother about who or where satoshi is, Satoshis anonymity is good for for the growth and confidence cryptos keep getting, and it will stay that way if he remains unknown or behind the scenes. Knowing who he is can lead to a lot of speculation and conspiracy theories that wont be good for the crypto world.

Only him and his family know where Satoshi San is. He is not responsible for the price of bitcoin, he only developed Bitcoin but not to control the price. None of us would have know the location of Satoshi and it is better that way because if people know his place, then his life would be in danger. I think no one knows who is satoshi nakamoto, if he/she is still alive and what is he/she doing by now, But someone says that satoshi nakamoto is a group of people and they called their self as SATOSHI NAKAMOTO. To hide of their identity to everyone for the safety of their lives for the people who may have some interest of them, because of the involvement of a huge money that they may holding by now.

Satoshi is not dead. In my presumption he/they are out there watching what is happening and controlling what would next to happen. If Satoshi is dead he couldn't do anything in this price.

In my own perception nakamoto satoshi,the father and founder of bitcoin is not dead and he still working  in this firm of cryptocurrency,with anonymous identity of his self.Maybe now i thinks, Mr Nakamoto is one of the big member of the big player now  or that we called a whales,and he always hidden  his identity in a low profile, for the protection of his self asset and all the  part of his family.

No one can tell on where he is and no one know if he was alive. We can't event tell if Satoshi is one person ,a group or even an organization. That is how good he was. I believe that Satoshi was Japanese so I think that there is a high possibility that he is in Japan. What I know is that he is super rich now because of what he invented and I am sure that he have tons of bitcoin with him. He doesn't want to be found. Probably because of security reasons. Who knows. Satoshi is still alive, I think Satoshi is a codename for a group. Bitcoin is designed to be that way decreasing and increasing of its value is pretty normal the decision to make it increase are depends on the people who hold their bitcoin, if one user has a large amount of BTC then it will inflate its value. I personally think it was a good Idea for its volatility because we can invest if the value is low.

You know what our people always complaining about something. They want a hot topic in town that can be discussed on their dining tables and cafes. So when they found nothing worthy someday, they better chose bitcoins to have a discussion on them.

I think Satoshi is just a code name and not his real name at all. Well, there is no need stressing our brain by trying to know if satoshi is a group or a single person. The essence is that the satoshi we know is being spent daily and we will never stop thanking the inventor for coming up with such a disruptive technology that is changing the world already. Even if someone comes out today to identify themselves as satoshi, I am sure no one will even believe. It is just best we leave it except for those who just want to stress themselves on something they will never find an answer to.

I do not think it makes a difference if satoshi is alive or dead, he is not going to reappear anyway, if he is dead then it is obvious he is not going to reappear but if he is alive then he has stayed out of bitcoin for many years and it seems he does not want to have to do anything with bitcoin, he is not even moving his coins so at this point it is safe to say that most likely he is not going to comeback.

In a way you are right but at the same time, are you not curious at all about who is satoshi? It's safer for him to just be anonymous since what he created is something that changed the way people think of blockchain and cryptocurrency. People started to learn more and to improve and develop things with blockchain technology since bitcoin was born. In my head I like to think Satoshi as a teenage kid trying to take revenge from his bullies locked himself up in the room to build an anonymous system where no one could take anything from anyone. He worked day and night to develop this thing (with a metallica song - master pf puppets playing in the background while he is develping blockchain in his room). The result of his development is blockchain at its rudimentary stage. He tries it out in his school and it works out swell. He slowly tries to redistribute power to people by making people solve his issues which make his system even better. However, one fine day a pretty girl knocks on his door to find out whats going on as she was in his class and was worried because she hadn't seen him for the last couple weeks in class. Satoshi had a huge crush on her so he went out for a coffe with her as he did not want to show himself as sloppy maniac on computer. He went out for the coffee while locking his so called bitcoin wallet along with his computer in a hurry. He had a really nice time and was enjoying his time out there. Once he was back, he unlocked his system but unfortunately he could not remember the password to his wallet as he created one in a hurry. He cursed himself and cried out loudly in the corridor scaring a lot of people. He eventually went into depression. He was taken home as he was unfit for school and was taken care of by his poor mother who could only afford school because of Satoshi's scholarship money. Once that was gone so was all thefuture success plans. Slowly in a year Satoshi could be normal again but he was not interested in bitcoin anymore. Around this time, his mother his source of inspiration passed away. Disappointed in life and hopeless with his future, he decided to travel to Tibet. Here he finally found peace away from all the worldly pleasures and is now more than happy to be a monk amongst the other monks in a monastery. It has been a decade since he invented one of the biggest things of the planet. In time he also remembered his password, but for him it was not important anymore because he had found what he was looking for - The key to life :) :)

I think Satoshi Nakamoto is just an actor during the creation of Bitcoin in order to hide the true identity of the Bitcoin and the blockchain creators because his identity until now was not truly reveal to the public that even the Japanese did not confirm it about his personality but if maybe he is really exist then maybe he just a humble person in which don't like popularity. I think if Satoshi were to come forward, he would have some influence on the direction of Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, but now Bitcoin has taken on a life of its own and is probably no longer exactly what he envisioned. If satoshi is dead or not, he cannot do anything about it, It is just how the market runs, it is not how he decides it. Not unless if satoshi would destroy it himself, of which is so unrealistic, that is the time when everything will become chaotic. But this is not gonna happen. Why would such an inventor of a technology try to bring down his own wonderful and ingenious creation? What causes it to bring down was the public itself, spreading fears over the security of bitcoins, fraud, government banning it and then results to panic selling. What are the proofs behind this claim that he is dead. Was he really an old person ? I really doubt this unless he was working on this project for 10-20 years before releasing it in public. I think Satoshi now is in a place that no one can find him except for those person he really trust. Much better Satoshi hide his true identity to avoid unnecessary things.

A lot of times, we talk about faith, we talk about consensus, we talk about bitcoin, we talk about blockchain, we talk about credit building, we talk about money issues. I no longer believe that satoshi is a code name used by a group of scientists, not after seeing the posts he has written on this forum. Satoshi is a man and not a group of people, though he might have some people who assisted him. I read a post where he was talking about moving on to mind another business, so I believe that is what he is doing right now. And this guy must be a billionaire😱😮.

Satoshi Nakamoto is anonimously like every transaction of bitcoin, no one knows where he is right now or even he is dead because if the world notice him they're life will be in dangered and lots of scamed victim because of bitcoin will surely become against him.

After I've dove into the world of cryptocurrency about 1 year has never known about the life of Satoshi but with the creation of bitcoin can have a positive impact for a country and the population because they can make investments according to their will without any party that can prevent it.

Its normal to him to hide his identity, i dont think that satoshi is already dead, i think he hide because maybe his holding billions worth of money, that's for his security reason, no matter what the important was we benifeted his invention.

I think satoshi is not a dead he just simply hide because maybe his holding a huge amount of money, he hide for security purposes, and the very important thing he do  is  bringing his invention to the people and many benifited wirh it many individuals earned.

He gave us this amazing technology. Now the price is governed by  a number of factors and I do not think one person can control it. It is possible in one situation only when he hold huge amount of Bitcoins himself. Then he can manipulate the prices but he will not do anything that will harm Bitcoin in long run.

If I think Satoshi is alive but we do not know the existence because Satoshi is no one knows him, Satoshi is just a pseudonym used by the creator of this bitcoin itself then therefore we will never know this Satoshi existence, and we do not can be sure also if Satoshi is alive or dead.

I can understand you were suffering an emotional strain when the price was down and you called satoshi to help by increasing price. He is possibly the person having 50% of bitcoins, undoubtedly he could help our situation frim becoming worst everytime but i think decrease is also necesaary sometimes to maintain the strength of market
