Meanwhile developers hold all masternode rewards during this period since they start at block 1...80 XAR per block (53,600XAR)

Estimating a MINIMUM 5 days before some functional mined MN exist (since there is a 24 hour staking window too), this means the dev team add roughly 250K XAR to their premine of 2.7mil (another 10% of initial premine).

The MN growth will be slow unless there is auctions, or listing on exchange and ultimately this means paying the price only the dev wants to charge.



Not saying scam or anything, just saying there appears to be an in balance in this announcement that strongly favors the dev team. The poor English and not fully developed website adds to my general concern, but I haven't fleshed that out yet.

I have a problem with wallet.  While using version 1.2, apparently my wallet forked itself and started earning hundreds of coins by staking.  But it stopped syncing after block 3836, and the explorer shows my balance much less.  When I install new wallet and try to replace the wallet file, the wallet will not open anymore and gives me errors.  Apparently the issue was caused by stupid windows 10 not knowing what time it was.  I have to set it manually every time I restart.  When syncing the wallet with windows having wrong time is how my wallet forked itself.

I got wallet working again, but my balance is less than what pools have reported being my payout.  Combining arcpool and nosefik pool payouts, I should have over 60 coins, but my wallet actually only has 40.  Why did coins go missing?  Did the pools fork at some point too?

Dev thanks, I got the wallet resynced already, and figured windows clock being off is what caused the wallet to fork itself originally.  But I still have one issue:  The block explorer by nosefik is showing a different balance than what I have in the actual windows wallet.  And between arcpool and nosefik pool, they have reportetly sent me more coins than I ever received.  Just wondering why the explorer shows me receiving more coins than the wallet says, and why both pools combined say they've sent me even more coins than what the explorer is stating.

Coin is a little bit of a “hidden gem” given the relatively low hash power and nice staking rewards that can still be had. Will likely be profitable  for the early staker / miner once it hits an exchange.

I'm not sure what to make of this project right now. Just wanted to get alerts to keep updated on its progress. It's interesting, just not enough polish for me yet.

Hi, as CoinMan2018 has pointed out, yesterday a new Discord server for Xaru, called Xaru Resurrected, was created with the aim of gathering the community that supports the project and coin. The original Discord server is not maintained nor moderated by the original team since February and has become a source of spam.

We don't know if the original Xaru team is still working on the project or if they have left the boat for any acceptable reasons. Thus, the idea of the new server is to know the community that supports XaruCoin and to have a clean space where we could all discuss the future of the project.
