higher and higher once again. Right now its expected we will go to $13000 in a couple of days.

It's really difficult to predict anything because we are in a state of overwhelming confusion on the market. Some people are trying to predict drops drawing fibonacci lines, some are depending on the news... If we base this on the facts we can conclude that BTC is constantly growing and the overall sentiment is positive since we've been gaining value with each passing year. Without all the FUD and mainstream media attacks on BTC we'd have corrected from 20k to maybe 12k and continued back up.

I always wonder where do you people are finding those figures and how can you know what value will bitcoin achieve in a day or month. Unless you have a cristal ball.
It's very hard, not to say impossibe to predict the bitcoin price especialy when market changes so quickly.
After every price dump the pump will follow but unlike you I wouldn't dare to say that this will be 13000$ and that it will happen in copule of days.

Next week we'll know whether bitcoin will rise or drop some more. As American authorities are accusing bitfinex of deliberately pumping the price of bitcoin with Tether, we have to wait what the verdict will be next Tuesday.

I think so, by the day's to come and maybe by upcoming event of Bitcoin which will change the minds of investors who will invest in Bitcoin again. And in this upcoming event maybe bitcoin can recover again soon.

This is not even a prediction at this point, it is just speculation. I would have guessed that people would have learned that it is practically impossible to predict the price of bitcoin at this point. Let alone predicting specific price points. We can only wait and see, not much else can be done.

I agree your opinion I think it should worth more than 15k in couple of days but we have to wait . If there will be newbies they will buy at 10k and selling at 10.5/11k they always do that and they dump price . In near future(this year I think ) it will worth 50.000$ . I can't wait :D

this is another shady government, do not trust them because they are a type of government that wants to control all its people and not freedom of its people, then something like bitcoin is enemy of its objectives



Well, you are very enthusiastic about this price, but we are still in the middle of some problems with regulation, so it will take a few months for the price to recover

I hope bitcoin will reach $13.000 in a short time. But they find something to drop the price of bitcoin with fake news or ban news. We need support of whales and goverments like Russia. After all of these fake news bitcoin is still not dead. People should believe in Bitcoin. They should not be a weak hand.

I doubt that would be happening anytime soon, with the way insecurities have hit bitcoin in recent times we are only hoping for better days ahead

Certainly, hope that Op is right here. Confusion is name of the game here - cryptocurrency trading is uncharted territory.
It's no wonder that people are disoriented what to do or who to believe. We should gain back momentum and reach more than $13k.
There is no telling when that will happen, it is far more problematic and difficult to rise than to crash.

If the increase on its value will be continuous, there is a possibility that it will again cross the 10000 USD mark. But I doubt that it will be acheived within a couple of days, I think it will be weeks to come for this thing to happen and it is still conditional because that's only if its value will CONTINUOUSLY increase. But for now let's just invest to earn huge profit and HOLD.

That is a bold prediction especially now that bitcoin is having a hard time reaching back to 10K. There are many good news but there are also lots of FUD spreading around cancelling the effects of the good news. Actually I will be happy if we reach back to 10K level at the end of next week.

i'd say couple of weeks. Bitcoin is still recovering from the backdrop that happened recently. I think days won't be enough for its value to jump at currently 9000 USD to 13 000 USD. Bitcoin is still volatile so it won't totally have a continuous increase on its market value. But for now, let's jist hold into our Bitcoin to earn profit as its value increases

I agree, I don't think much will happen in a few days. A few weeks from now, though, I hope it will be back at $15k, and in a few months back at $20k. Let's hope so, we could all do with some good news.

This is the year that cryptocurrencies has been embrace by different country and investments are getting higher, as we can see the economical growth of each currency worldwide, this is good news and more people will continue to believe how cryptocurrencies are good enough to invest money these days. If the countries are allowed to ban Bitcoin,they may take a few weeks to come in practice.It will not come immediately.Then investments will increase.

It's now a couple of days and gone down even more.  More like a couple of years to go up.  I haven't got money to spend and hope it will grow with every chance it might shrink to nothing.   It might be black MOnday today on Bitcoin and Stock market.  So I'm doing nothing.

With those news that you mentioned that will make bitcoin foundation strong again but I'm still wondering why there's no reflection even there are too many good news that are coming out of bitcoin. But for now the price went back to another dip at $7,500 and it was already half of it. Why the reaction is very slow but when it comes fake news and FUDs the market is reacting very quick.

I think that people was merely emotional, yet fake news and FUD's really influenced the world due to social media's false informations. The current dip happened could take further changes and the unpredictable market might surprised all of us who closely monitored bitcoin's price most of the time. To those who couldn't manage their emotions along with the different rumors behind the internet world, just expect better future with bitcoin that $13k or more will be able to hit the market for the next few weeks.

Nope, ain't happening guys.  Sorry.  I can't believe the denial is still strong with some of you.  This makes it feel that there's another crash happening from another wave of sellers who have just woken up to reality...

I agree with you that another crash is coming soon.  Why would people buy at 7.5 when quite possible it will go much lower than this and then they can get a real bargain if they want to buy Bitcoin. 

I think its not enough to offset the bearish sentiments that we are seeing right now. There's too much negativity around that almost everyday people thought of just dumping their coins and just waited it out and see how it goes. It's really tough for all of us to see the price going south. But to overcome all of this, the only thing that I can think of is Lightning Network being implemented. For me this will really bring confidence in the market again.

I really wanted to see the price to reach $13K again but its going to be a uphill climb but if LN is ready and on its way, then it will tip the balance to our favor.

FUDs are spread easily because of social media and by that way instead of bringing out good news. The fastest and inaccurate news are coming out that lead people to believe those fake ones. Those people who are whining out that are shouting for their losses are the new ones but for long time bitcoin holders, traders and investors its not a problem at all but still its a pain to see the price plummeting.

Bitcoin went up for a very long time, and has been dropping hard for 6-7 weeks. For 6 weeks, I've been expecting the drop to end, but so far it just keeps going down.
Each time crypto bounces up a bit, most coins instantly increase by 20-30%. I can only assume that means many speculators are waiting and ready to jump in the moment they expect a rise again.
I also think positive feedback mechanisms (either going long or short) increase the magnitude of fluctuations. The moment short positions are closed, the price has to go up again, which triggers more positions to close.

Bitcoin (and crypto in general) is heavily manipulated. Of course I don't like seeing my stash drop in value, but it isn't the first time. The fact that among others billionaires (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2870717.0), governments, (central) banks and stock brokers warn against Bitcoin tells me we're on to something here. They don't care about the general population risking their money, they care about losing control over money.
And that brings me to what I believe: Bitcoin can easily double (or much more!) in a few days, you're right there. But it's impossible to time the market, it can just as well lose a lot more first.

If enough people make enough predictions, some of them will be correct. That makes it an easy mistake to assume credibility based on past predictions.

I believe those who have bought BTC at a much lower price last year have higher positions and they couldn't care less if they sell-off some of their positions with 7000%+ realized gain. They are still profit taking until the end of Q1 2018. Let us all not panic and buy BTC as much as we can during these times so that we may be like those who have bought lower price BTC last year and take profit within 1-2 years. I believe that bitcoin investment is not a get-rich-quick scheme like most people believed who have bought in December 2017. $13k price level is not impossible to reach on Chinese New Year because the Chinese people have a huge population in the market.

It's crushing everyday as i watched it i felt a little weird in me that hurts me to see this kind of down everyday. Someone has just dumping their investment because of this fluctuation and i guess it's not the price correction anymore, it is someone who manipulate the price. I hope to see a positive effect of this even if it turns out to be awful sometimes.

^ Believe it or not, some of those dumping now are the people who bought at around 15K USD and up.  They're obviously panicking right now.  What they should have done was sell early and keep their losses small.

That's a fact. You know when the panic is reaching its peak phase when old bitcoiners, people you considered hardened holders, are starting to message you saying they're thinking about selling. It's just too depressing to watch it go down even if you're not losing anything because you bought at much lower prices.
I've been in this situation a few times and I made the mistake of selling. Now I'm holding!

It seem your prediction was wrong, a couple of days have passed already and we are testing new lows, but do not worry we all have made wrong predictions the point is what are you going to do with the price so low, I plan to keep holding, I would like to buy more bitcoin but I simply do not have the cash in hand so I will miss the opportunity to make more money in the future.

Whether the price is $11,500 or $10,500, it makes no real difference if you are out to hold your coins for the long term. I find it even safe to say that ANY price below the $20,000 level is a great long term accumulation opportunity. People who are waiting for a 10% drop in order to start buying aren't real long term holders, but straight gamblers. I'm obviously not referring to traders - traders buy and sell at any price regardless of the market conditions, and they do it silently, that's the difference between the main groups here.

The main thing is that you had the determination, and find the means can be quite simple, especially being in the community of lovers of crypto currency. You can do this in any case, even with participation in Bounty companies.

Well I do think that it is possible because it already reached 11500 USD recently. Maybe not on this month but rather next month, its market value will again increase that will make its price to reach 13000USD or even more if it is continuous. So for now, conrinue investing and holding.

I think that today you can invest in Bitcoin to sell at a higher price, but I'm not satisfied with the price of $ 13,000, because I already dealt with Bitcoin for 20,000 dollars. I think and I want Bitcoin to return to its maximum value.
