Title: WTS [UK] 4 Module Avalon Batch 2
Post by: Olly_K on September 04, 2013, 01:55:45 PM
Looking to sell my B2 Avalon, its soon going to become unprofitable for me to mine with it due to current electricity prices where I live. And no, I don't want you to take it off my hands for free and split the profits because you get free electricity :)

Bought 2nd hand from here as a 3 module unit. I added the 4th module and has a Corsair AX1200 PSU. Can get pics this weekend if needed.

Happily hashing away at 350Mhz, producing somewhere in the region of 105-115Gh/s according to BTC Guild:

Looking at around 50BTC ONO or payment in GBP, or part of each. Would prefer not to ship and can travel a bit in the UK if needed :)

Thanks for looking !

50BTC would get you that same hashrate in USB-BE's and 1/20th of the running costs :)

I'll offer 2000 GBP cash on collection when I see it mining.

all PMs replied to, thanks for all the low ball offers. I am well aware one went on here for 36BTC, but that was minus PSU IIRC.

I will not take less than 40BTC or £3k for it, if it get's worse over the next few months I'll point it to some other SHA altcoins.

thanks !

Mine ZET's with it - at least you can exchange those for the electric costs, and it'll keep the room toasty now Summer seems to have ended.

No. Try running 300-400 USB BlockErupters... You will find out they have running costs roughly 2x those of Avalon. They use twice more watts for the same Mhash/sec.
