Title: BitMiner (account with 0.29BTC/2840$) HELP
Post by: BookeyBitMan on February 04, 2018, 02:31:39 PM
Hi
I have account on BitMiner site since 2016, and when I login today I see account balance: 0.29BTC/2840$.

Problem is I forget my password for blockchain wallet for BTC, and forget 12 word recovery passphrase for recovery password.
To change BTC address for withdraw I must deposit 0.01BTC.
When I recovery my BTC address I can withdraw without deposit, but if I can not can I trust BitMiner for deposit 0.01BTC?

Every suggestion is welcome. Thanks

How the hell did that happen? you got 0.29 BTC magically added to your account?

Can you check in your email account for a backup file? it's usually named wallet.aes.json.

To change BTC address for withdraw I must deposit 0.01BTC.
When I recovery my BTC address I can withdraw without deposit, but if I can not can I trust BitMiner for deposit 0.01BTC?
They're scam, i would suggest you to not to deposit anything. doesn't it makes you wonder.. why would they give you 0.29 BTC for free?

How sure are you that you will receive the withdrawal when you use that address? I mean, you'll be able to request, yes, but it might end up in pending status. No one would give you such amount for free. Don't bother sending there 0.01 or any amount, neither for change address nor upgrade bitminer.

Old topic about bitminer : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1571743
There are some who claimed that they have been paid after upgrading, but only once. Still not convincing, better forget about it.

Bitminer is an old scam which before you would able to withdraw your amounts that have been mined or earned you would need to deposit which is a typical scam scheme among with these sites disguised which claiming that they are mining out bitcoins. As suggested above don't ever tend to sent any amounts because those amounts you have earned are faked ones.If we do think off carefully why we would need to deposit for us to withdraw?

Don't deposit anything, that's a known scam site. It's probably them who "added" 0.29btc to make you deposit 0.01btc. They're not even replying to support ticket. Just forget about that scam website.

Bitminer is a scam from beginning on in 2016. Don't pay in and just leave it.
I am wondering, where the cheaters exchange their money to fiat. Maybe here is a technician, who can follow their transactions to an exchanger, so that they can freeze their money.
